Hello! I grew up with dogs and have taken care of many friends’ and neighbors’ pets for as long as I can remeber. I’m not ready to be a permanent pet owner but I love spending time with animals, going on dog walks and hikes, and making sure your pet is cared for the way you would do it. I love teaching dogs tricks and practicing their good manners, and am comfortable with all breeds, ages, and sizes!

Julia was phenomenal! Not only is she an awesomely cool person, she was very patient when meeting and understanding our dog who can be shy and occasionally reactive. She has such a calming energy that our dog immediately let down her guard and bonded with Julia (which is unusual in the first moments of meeting someone new) and I knew right away that our pup and home were in great hands while we were away for a week. I can't recommend Julia enough - amazing and consistent updates with cute pics of our dog everyday, and honestly our home looked better and cleaner when we came back then when we left somehow! Thank you again Julia!!
Wilbur loved her day with Julia! I appreciated the flexibility of an early drop-off for a weekend day. Julia got Wilbur out for a long hike, and she was a tired pup that afternoon when I picked her up.
Julia has had pets as long as I can remember. She loves to be outside and take her animals along with her. She’s incredibly responsible and is one of the most caring people I know. I can confidently say that julia will be an amazing dog caregiver that will love and care for each and every one of animals.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule between nannying, other gigs, and travel. I love to fill my free days and in between times with animals and have 3 roommates who love having pets around and join on walks or play sessions too.

I have no pets of my own so your pet will have all my attention. I try to match their energy and keep up with their normal routines to build trust and keep them feeling safe and having fun.
A typical day
I love taking dogs to parks to play fetch or frisbee or tug o war. I also love hiking and hanging out by the river. Cat toys can be equally as entertaining for me as for the cat. I certainly provide pets and cuddles as well if they are welcome.
