Availability
Working from home, I am truly present to take care of and be attentive to all dogs. There are a few days where I will be unavailable due to travel or subbing at school, but those are blocked off on a weekly basis. Josie and I always start our morning with an activity. Josie loves to go on a morning run, so if your pup is a runner... get ready to join the pack! On the other hand, my family's dog, Molly, loves her walks and play time. We also have a park and great trails in our neighborhood meaning the day is open for adventures.

Our condo is in a wonderful area close to the beach with lots of grass and easy access to walking trails. As a home welcome to dogs, we love having them sleep with us but can crate them if that is their safest spot. We have the space to feed dogs separately if needed.

We always love to be active with our dogs which includes walking, running, mountain biking, paddle boarding, hiking, swimming, going to the park… pretty much anything!

Pet care experience
Growing up with dogs my whole life, there has not been a year where we have not had dogs in the house.... meaning we love them! To add to growing up with dogs, I (ambitiously) got a puppy during my senior year of college. This taught me to balance caring for a puppy while excelling in school and enjoying my senior year. This challenge gave me a new insight into putting 100% care into a pet and made my bond grow deeper with my dog, Josie. My family's dog, Molly, is a therapy dog for hospitals and schools allowing me to see the true joy that dogs bring into people's lives. That said, I truly enjoy finding the joy and laughter each dog brings into our home!

I cannot recommend Shannon enough! She was incredibly kind, communicative, and accommodating, especially as my dog's health situation changed between booking and his stay. Shannon made the entire experience stress free and gave me complete peace of mind. She is such a warm and genuinely caring person, her location is fantastic, and her dog is an absolute sweetheart. It was clear my pup was in great hands. I am so grateful for her help and look forward to future bookings and playdates for our two doggies. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!
You should book Shannon & Cody only if you want your pet to be in the midst of the most caring, dependable people I know. As dog owners themselves, they know what it takes to provide great care for dogs whether that be park walks or neighborhood runs or endless belly rubs sitting in front of the TV. They have taken care of my dogs numerous times and I never have to worry about anything. Pets will leave as friends, guaranteed!
