“Jessica was incredibly responsive and helpful when another sitter had an emergent cancellation just two days before our ski vacation. She was able to accommodate us and had great communication. You can tell Jessica truly cares about the doggies she sits for. Our had a great time and came very happy every day! Thank you Jessica- we’ll reach out to your first when we next come back to Tahoe.”

About: Hi! My dog Enzo and I enjoy hiking around Tahoe. I would love to take your fur friend on all of the adventures with us! I usually spend my days off wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning hike, evening walk, lake sunset, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free roaming) depending on your home routines. I would also be more than happy to take care of your pups while you’re out of town. Enzo and I can come to your place, or your dog can stay with us at ours. I work as an emergency room nurse so my shifts are variable, but I have four days off each week. When I am not working, I am able to be with the dogs doing dog adventures all day long! I am often off work for a week at a time. My schedule is variable because I work in health care. When I am not at the hospital working, I can dedicate the whole day to hanging with the pups Dogs will stay in the house with frequent potty breaks. We have a morning and evening walk each day at the very least - most days I try to spend the majority of the day outside with hikes and lake days
“I recently had the pleasure of using Melissa to care for my dog, Mocha, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Melissa genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. And when she says, “you don’t need a dog bed”, you really don’t! Lol Mocha looked so comfortable and relaxed in her home, which immediately put me at ease. Melissa was incredibly accommodating, addressing all of Mocha's needs and keeping me updated throughout the stay. It's such a relief to know I have a reliable and caring person to leave Mocha with when I'm away. Highly recommend Melissa's services!”

“My puppy doesn’t have much experience being away from me, and I was a little worried about leaving him. Colleen and her dog Vino made him feel right at home! Colleen also eased my anxiety by sending me pictures and little updates that he was relaxed and having fun. As a bonus, he came home exhausted! Will definitely book with Colleen and Vino again.”

“My pup had so much fun with Lidia. When I picked her up she was calm, happy and content. She had the time of her life playing at the lake and sunning herself on the deck. I'd be thrilled to have her watching my dog again in the future!”

“Kathy was wonderful from the start and I wouldn't hesitate to have our dog Samson stay with her again. She is very communicative and has a wonderful, calming vibe that I can imagine is great for the dogs. Samson spent the day playing with her sweet dog, Gypsy, and we loved getting photos throughout the day of them together. We were in town for a wedding and there were no problems picking him up late, that's so rare and much appreciated. Only wish we lived here so Samson could hang with Kathy and Gypsy more often!”

“Judy and Bob were fantastic looking after Delta for the day while we skiied. Lots of photos and updates during the day and their dogs were great with Delta who was a little shy to begin with. Highly recommended and we look forward to Delta staying with them again!”

About: Growing up with dogs my whole life, there has not been a year where we have not had dogs in the house.... meaning we love them! To add to growing up with dogs, I (ambitiously) got a puppy during my senior year of college. This taught me to balance caring for a puppy while excelling in school and enjoying my senior year. This challenge gave me a new insight into putting 100% care into a pet and made my bond grow deeper with my dog, Josie. My family's dog, Molly, is a therapy dog for hospitals and schools allowing me to see the true joy that dogs bring into people's lives. That said, I truly enjoy finding the joy and laughter each dog brings into our home! Working from home, I am truly present to take care of and be attentive to all dogs. There are a few days where I will be unavailable due to travel or subbing at school, but those are blocked off on a weekly basis. Josie and I always start our morning with an activity. Josie loves to go on a morning run, so if your pup is a runner... get ready to join the pack! On the other hand, my family's dog, Molly, loves her walks and play time. We also have a park and great trails in our neighborhood meaning the day is open for adventures. Our condo is in a wonderful area close to the beach with lots of grass and easy access to walking trails. As a home welcome to dogs, we love having them sleep with us but can crate them if that is their safest spot. We have the space to feed dogs separately if needed.
“Missy and Kyle were great!!! Their fur baby was so sweet and played great along with my pup! They sent me pics and updates throughout the day and were great at communicating. For a first time Rover user who was initially anxious, I immediately felt so comfortable having my dog Hank stay with them knowing he was safe and in a loving home. I will definitely rebook anytime I am in the area!!! Thanks again Missy and Kyle!!!”

“Scott was great with my dog Indy on short notice. He watched him for a day while I was in the area for work and Indy enjoyed Scott and his dog as well. I would recommend Scott and would reach out to him again if I am in the area and need a place for my dog to be watched.”

“Luke did an awesome job watching our Mini Aussie! We were in the are for the day skiing at Palisades Tahoe as a stop on our road trip, and Luke helped us out so we could have some time to ski away from the pup. We got updates and videos, and he even took our dog for a long walk. Highly recommend, his training skills are great and super convenient location, great communication.”

“Our 2 yo aussie-doodle Coro loved his four days with Nayla, going on hikes in the snow and playing with the other doggies. The moment they met, Coro walked off with Nayla and forgot about us!!! The instant connection was amazing.”
