I've had dogs and cats my whole life. I am a regular volunteer at the Tahoe-Truckee Humane Society. I have recently become petless after the loss of my two pups, and I need furry friends to keep me company on hikes, trips to the beach, and treks through the snow!

I couldn’t have asked for a better dog watcher! Westan and his family took incredible care of Canela over the holidays, sending photos from their daily walks and hikes. I’m not sure my dog even noticed I was gone… She was so loved, and I so appreciate it.
Nandy was well taken care of this weekend! Very communicative and was sent a few pictures of his adventures throughout the day, thank you again!
Westin wasn’t available over my dates but his parents stepped in to care for Riggs and it was the perfect fit. Great communication and I could tell Riggs had a great and loving time. Will definitely reach out again.
Thanks for the easy communication and flexibility of drop off and pick up. We had full trust in Westan and his family after meeting at drop off and could relax knowing she was in caring, responsible hands. Was so nice to hear about her long hike out and photos of the adventure. Wish we had a sitter like Westan closer to home!
Westan was great! Super accommodating and responsive while my schedule kept moved around. And was able to move days around for us and he took great care of Murphy. Would definitely use again!
Westan took wonderful care of our dog, Cole. He was responsive and kept us informed with photos and texts on how he was doing and got him plenty of outdoor time. I would highly recommend to anyone needing boarding.

Schedule
I run this account with my mom. She will take care of anyone who books when I am not home. I am usually home around holidays and in the winter, and I manage our availability accordingly.

Safety, trust & environment
My mom and I are very active people, so your dog will get plenty of exercise! We usually take the dogs on walks or runs 4-5 times a day. Your pet will rarely be left alone in the house, as my parents work from home and help out when I am not around. We all love dogs and cats, so there will be plenty of attention and belly rubs!!
A typical day
We enjoy taking dogs on hikes, runs, and trips to the beach. There is a trailhead right next to my house that provides acess to Paige Meadows. These are great trails for running and hiking, and are usually uncrowded! We also like walking down to the Truckee River for a quick swim!
