1. Melissa B.
“I recently had the pleasure of using Melissa to care for my dog, Mocha, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Melissa genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. And when she says, “you don’t need a dog bed”, you really don’t! Lol Mocha looked so comfortable and relaxed in her home, which immediately put me at ease. Melissa was incredibly accommodating, addressing all of Mocha's needs and keeping me updated throughout the stay. It's such a relief to know I have a reliable and caring person to leave Mocha with when I'm away. Highly recommend Melissa's services!”
2. Joe H.
“Lupa was so happy to arrive at Joe's place and was happy when we picked her up. Her body language was so relaxed and content after her stay, and she clearly had a lot of fun because she was super tired too. Joe was lovely and his dog was friendly and fun. Location couldn't be more perfect for skiing Olympic Valley. Thanks Joe!!”

6. Graciela C.
“I highly recommend Graciela for her exceptional dog sitting services. From the moment we connected, her professionalism and strong communication skills were evident. She took the time to understand my dogs' routines and needs, ensuring they were well cared for while I was away. Graciela kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which gave me peace of mind. Most importantly, my dogs absolutely adored her! They were happy, relaxed, and enjoyed every moment they spent with Graciela. It's clear she has a genuine love for animals and a natural ability to connect with them. I'm grateful for the wonderful care she provided and will definitely book her services again in the future. Thank you, Graciela!”
7. Shane C.
“So I've known Shane for years and he is the literal dog whisperer ! Doggos are his world, any and all pups absolutely adore him. He is incredibly patient, loving, and intuitive. I've watched him train countless pups - he even rescued an extremely high energy and untrained shepherd who is now the most well behaved and loving pup I know. He brushes his pups' teeth regularly, administers medication to them daily, and prepares food fresh for them every day. Dogs are not dogs to Shane, they are his children :)”
8. Kathy M.
“I have a rescue dog, Mia, who's very nervous with new people and being left with strangers. She had a fantastic time with Kathy and her own friendly dog. I think they played all day, as Mia was exhausted by the evening. I dropped her off two days in a row, dreading the second in case she was upset about being left, but she ran into Kathy's house, tail wagging, eager to greet her new friends and get started.”
9. Caren J.
“Caren was so great! She communicated well ahead of time and was super accommodating with drop off and pickup. Ash came home super happy and tired. He had a great time!”
10. Alistair W.
“Friendly people, friendly pup, great communication!”
11. Shea H.
“I've known Shea long enough to get to know his love for animals, especially dogs! Alongside his experience training horses and dogsitting for others, he adores greeting and getting to know passerby pets from other dog owners and interacting with them when out and about. I don't know another person that gets as excited as him to see and play with these beautiful creatures. I highly recommend him as a responsible dog caregiver and put full trust in his ability to tend to them!”
12. Amber W.
“Amber has cared for Patches many times while we have been out of town and walked her on long days away from home. Patches is always excited to see her and enjoys her time with Amber. Our family trusts Amber and know that Patches is well cared for when we are away. She is our “go to” for dog care.”
13. Samantha S.
“Sam was awesome and our dog loved her! We came to Tahoe for the weekend to ski and booked pretty last minute with Sam when we found out late checkout wasn’t an option. She was super flexible and accommodating and came to pick Harvey up and met us in a convenient location on our way out. Will definitely be using Sam again when come back to Tahoe!”
14. Jared B.
“Jared was great - he was incredibly flexible and knew how to handle dogs. Nala is a little picky and can get snappy with dogs, so I was a little worried, but everything went incredibly smoothly. He was very communicative - he responded immediately whenever I messaged him. Jared was also incredibly accommodating, he was willing to meet up with wherever was convenient with me when dropping of Nala. I would definitely ask Jared to look after Nala again.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs, cats, birds, turtles, lizards, goats, chickens and sheep for 5 years. I also currently work at Lake Tahoe Community College part time. I have experience with senior pets with special needs. I provide talk therapy for those who need it! (meaning, animals who don't trust new people right away). I am available for overnights, dog walks, plant care and house-sitting. I am really good with animals that have fear and trust issues. Some of my clients have been impressed with how quickly a special needs pet warmed up to me. Treats help! I am honest and trustworthy, and would love the opportunity to care for your pets! Thanks! Judy I am currently working full-time, M-F in Tahoe City I am usually available on weekends. Overnights or day care. I have 2 dogs, both very friendly. I will sleep in the same room as your pet so they feel safe. That way, if they need to go out in the middle of the night, I’ll be right there for them.

“Danielle was super flexible and communicative with day care for our pup. We had to book last minute and our pick-up time changed, and in both cases she was able to accommodate us. She’s also got a great shaded outdoor set-up that kept our dog cool on a hot summer day. Definitely recommend Danielle for your dog care/boarding needs!”

20. Colleen C.
“My puppy doesn’t have much experience being away from me, and I was a little worried about leaving him. Colleen and her dog Vino made him feel right at home!
