1. Erica B.
“Erica is a responsible, experienced and loving pet sitter and dog walker. She even stayed for two nights to watch my giant, crazy puppy and did a great job at managing that puppy energy all the while keeping my home safe from puppy damage. She also did great with my other dog that can be a bit unpredictable off leash. Both my dogs love her and we highly recommend her services.”
2. Joanie S.
“She is an animal whisperer and has been caring for and grown up around animals since she was young. She trained every dog that she ever had and she is very loving, kind, fun, and responsible. She loves to walk and hike with the dogs and I would trust her with my two dogs any day!”
3. Melissa B.
“Melissa was wonderful with our two dogs. She is attentive, active, and understanding of how difficult it can be for pets to transition to a new caretaker. She provided treats and showered them with lots of love! I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs! She will ensure it is a positive experience for all involved.”
4. Sydney P.
“Sydney was great with our shy/reactive dog!”
5. Kristina J.
“Kristina is so wonderful with animals! She is very adaptive to working with a dog's personality to keep it safe and happy. She has watched my dog before and they have gone on many fun adventures together. Kristina quickly can get a dog to trust her and listen to her. Totally recommend!”
6. Nate G.
“I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my beloved fur babies and home with Nate, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I handed over my keys, I was met with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for my pets and property. Nate went above and beyond to ensure my pets' comfort and happiness. They followed all of my instructions to a T, and even went the extra mile to provide updates and photos throughout the experience. It was clear that my pets were in good hands and were having a blast! The house was kept in immaculate condition, and my pets were well-fed, happy, and healthy upon my return. He also took care of any additional tasks I requested, such as watering plants and taking out the trash. I highly recommend Nate to anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet and house sitter. I will definitely be using their services again in the future. Thank you for always taking such great care of my furry family members and home!”
7. Shawn L.

About: I was born into a household with a dog, and ever since then I have always had a dog at home. Now that I’m far from home I miss a furry friend and would love to pet sit or walk your pet! I’m currently unemployed, but building my own company. My schedule is however I want to make it, I just want to make sure I have time during the day to ski at least a couple of hours. Everything else works for me. I can easily follow instructions in regards to keeping your pet safe (keeping in crate, giving medicines, leashed walks, etc. You let me know how you want me to care for your pet :)

About: I can't think of a time where animals weren't apart of my life and family. I believe animals should be treated with the same love and respect as humans and that definitely shows in my care style. That's why I’ve chosen to become apart of Rover's community. I am the dog Mom of an amazing 5 year old girl named Mya who gets along very well with other dogs and would love to meet and play with yours. 🐶 I'm currently in the "shoulder season" of work so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pup! I'm available most days unless blocked off on my availability calender. I have a 4 bedroom dog friendly apartment and my own pup and lots of toys to keep yours entertained. I can also crate if need be.

About: Puppies are my expertise! Dog owner and volunteer at the local Truckee Tahoe humane society. Fostered over 30 puppies and dogs. Love taking dogs on fun adventures around Tahoe. My schedule is open for pretty much anything. Live locally and can accommodate anywhere around the lake. Prefer north/west/east shore. But open to other locations around Tahoe. My dog is family. So I will do the same. I understand how important pups are treat them as I would want my dog treated.
11. Wyatt S.
“Wyatt is a calm and patient dog walker and does a great job taking care of our husky and cats. We highly recommend his per services!”
12. Jeff P.
“I can't image a more caring and responsible and loving pet caregiver. My dog is always very happy to see him. He always makes sure the pets he is caring for get fresh air and exercise. He is always on time and is truly an animal lover!!!!”
13. Malea J.
“Malea has watched my dog Griffin several times, for as short as a day and as long as a few weeks. He absolutely adores her - she’s kind and caring but also knows how to interact with dogs well, including how to give him commands and encourage him to follow through. When he’s with her for a long stretch he never comes back with bad habits, and he’s always well-brushed, healthy, and happy. I know he loves the time they spend together because he’s always head over heels happy to see her. I’d highly recommend her!”
14. Christie G.
“Can’t say enough good things about Christie. First of all she was available for us super last minute. We were up in Tahoe and needed someone to take Rocky for a walk mid day so he wasn’t left alone all day (just in case). Christie took him on a walk and sent lots of cute photos. Appreciate her and it sounds like her pup and our dog got along well too. Highly recommend her. Super good communicator too!”
15. Camille C.
“Camille saved me by picking up a last minute walk for my doggos. She was attentive to both their needs. Thank you!”
16. Peach W.
About: Hi, My name is Peach and I have an 8 year old border collie. We love spending time on the open trails, the park, or playing at home. We are open to all types of animals, Brewer used to live on a ranch so he is accustomed to many different types. We are always looking for a play buddy. Currently we live in Tahoe City. I am taking classes to prepare for nursing school, so I have a flexible schedule! Making sure Brewer, or whichever animal I am caring for, has enough care and attention is extremely important to me. I make sure there are several different activities throughout the day for animals to stay happy and engaged. I am able to keep my dog at home, while I am also happy to come watch your pet in your home or take her out for walks/playtime.
17. Judy C.
“Judy was great with our 9 month old golden retriever pup! We were out for the day and she came by to let him out for a walk. She was super responsive and easy to communicate with! Highly recommend!”
18. Erika N.
“Erika is the loving mother of Willy, who she rescued in 2020. She has done such a great job nurturing and training Willy. They are always out at the lake or on trails and socializing with other dogs!”
19. Natili E.
About: I love dogs! I also enjoy hiking around Tahoe. I am in the process of training my own adventure doggo, but I would love to take your fur friend on all of the adventures with us! I usually spend my days wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning walk, breakfast, mid morning hike of up to 8 miles ish, late lunch/dinner, evening walk or lake sunsets, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free reign) depending on your home routines. I would also be more than happy to take care of your doggo when you’re out of town. My doggo is my family, and I would be more than happy to offer my love and my home to yours while you’re away. I work as and emergency room nurse during the weekends, but I have four days off each week. Thanks for looking!

About: I have taken care of dogs starting at 14 years old working for a doggy day care before moving on to a vet office for a few more years. Now I just dog/cat sit for friends and family. I am currently working a hybrid schedule giving me the flexibility and time to take care of pets. I only go into the office three days a week and those times are flexible. This is a service I will not be offering at this time, maybe in the future if I am in a different living situation it will be something I can offer.
