About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

We have a large dog-friendly fenced-in yard as well as amazing trails just outside our backdoor. Our Aussie-Border Collie mix, Penny is super friendly and submissive and gets along with everyone. I have 3 friendly dogs and 2 cats at my home (one laid back, one spunky 1.5 year old) and a large, unfenced area in the woods where dogs can be leash walked or free roam. There are 4 litter boxes and 2 cat trees throughout the spacious multi-floor house. When I lived in Cameron Park, I cared for five dogs of my own and kept them all very active through daily walks, outdoor time, and structured routines. Since moving, I no longer have pets of my own due to limited space and financial stability, but my experience with multiple dogs has given me strong hands-on knowledge of managing different personalities and energy levels at once. This experience has helped me stay confident and attentive when caring for other people’s pets, and I treat every animal like they are my own while they are in my care.
About: I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals. I watch a number of my friend's dogs, and each has a unique and special routine and they have all come to trust me a look forward to visiting. I stay a bit at some of my friend's houses if they want me to help with house watch, plants, delivery receipt and other home needs while they are traveling and away on extended trips.

HOUSE SITTING: I will watch your dog any days booked. We will have many adventures and send lots of photos. DROP IN: I will come and check on your pupper, take them outside for potty break and maybe a quick walk. DOG WALKING: I will take your pup for a walk however long you need. Depending on where we are if your dog is ok off leash we can do an off leash walk. DOGGY DAYCARE: I will watch your pup through the day and we will likely go on a hike or to a body of water to play. About: I have my own 4 year old black lab who loves attention, long walks, and spending time with other dogs. I’ve hosted many dogs through Rover over the past several years and treat every dog as my own. I prefer to walk or dog sit one additional dog at a time so that they can have individualized attention. About: Hi! My name is Erika and I live in Truckee with my partner Sully and our middle aged husky-mix, Willy. Although, we commonly call her by her nickname, Bill. We’ve been providing house and dog sitting for the past few years now as I have a flexible remote job. Typically I bring Willy with me when watching other dogs as she loves to play! My partner, Sully, will help with dog sits at times. We do travel, as we have a travel trailer, so we will dog sit outside the Tahoe area as well when on the road. About: My dog recently passed away at the age of 16, so I am just trying to get my doggy fixes in. I would love if they could join me for a run or hike. I currently work full time at an office M-F but come home for lunch for an hour. But I can guarantee a morning, lunch and evening walk (or activity) I live in an adu apartment but have a big open backyard and don’t mind pets on furniture if you don’t mind them on furniture.
