1. Melissa B.

“I feel lucky that I found Melissa to care for our miniature poodle Cooper. Cooper was never happy in a commercial daycare situation but felt at home at Melissa's house. Melissa truly loves every pup in her care and regularly communicates updates on your dog's behavior. 🐶 Right away we felt at ease after leaving our dog for a few days with Melissa and highly recommend her services!”

2. Kathy M.

“The meet & greet was a great idea, so that when Penny stayed she knew her Kathy, her home and her dog, and wagged her tail at the door when it was time to drop her off for the stay. Kathy sent pictures every day, and kept me in touch even though I was far away. Wonderful pet care!!”

3. Christie C.

“Christie was super responsive and booking was easy. Chewie had a great visit and came home tired and happy! Will definitely use Christie again.”

4. Heather K.

“Heather took such wonderful care of our high energy boy—taking him for daily adventures, providing lots of comfy cuddles, and coddling his whining while he was anxious. She even took the time to work with him on the heel command. I think he probably had more fun in Tahoe than we did this weekend!”

5. Alexandra P.

“Great communication and kept Lillie entertained.sent fun pics too”

6. Nettie R.

“Fantastic. Nettie is very good with dogs and my Tilly probably got more attention and exercise that could give her. I've learned that Nettie hikes daily, so if your dog loves to hike, Nettie is the one, plus the absolute love your dog will receive. She has a nice backyard, so there's plenty of room for running around.”

7. Danielle D.

“Danielle was super easy to coordinate with and very responsive. She made it as easy as possible, especially when we had little experience using Rover. On top of that, she has a few great dogs to keep our Lucy company and took great care of them! Please reach out to Danielle next time you need care in Tahoe city”

8. Gina & Erik L.

“I've was so happy to find this service for my senior puppy. Gina was so good to her. I could not have asked for a better caregiver for Sadie. She is an 18 year old mini poodle with lots of needs. I received pictures every day showing me how well Sadie was doing. The home was very welcoming and the family dog was kind and gentle. I will definitely recommend this service and I would use Gina again if the need arises. Thank you so much!”

9. Aaron & Nicole F.

“Dingo is a senior dog and has a few special requirements with medications etc. Aaron handled all of this excellently and we loved to get the pictures of what Dingo was up to each day! Thanks for taking great care of Dingo”

10. Christina B.

“The saying, "You just know....when you know". That is how I felt after meeting Christina and being completely reasurred that my "Bug" would be cared for dearly and would be in a safe environment. She put me at ease that she would spoil my dog as I would. Most of all, she does not ever leave your dog unattended outside. (small dog safety) :) I needed Christina last minute and she responded and accommodated me immediately with kindness and willingness to help. She had no problem with our flight schedule and making an adjustment for us. Nobody wants to worry about their dog while away or worry about how your dog is going to fit into their family without being too much trouble. When Christina sent me a picture of my dog helping her supervise a family member, I had not a worry! I could tell, Bug became a part of her family. Thanks a million, but I almost want to keep her a secret. Nicole”

11. Dain & Jade S.

“Gracie had a great time with Dain and Jade. They provided lots of love, activity and walks. Just what our active girl needs. We were very comfortable leaving her with them for 5 nights.”

12. Allison H.

“The Allison family were exceptionally friendly and kind to my dog, my dog had a great time staying and I look forward to going back next time!”

About: I’ve cared for all kinds of animals all my life. I owned a dog grooming shop for 3 years with over a thousand happy repeat clients. I’ve been fostering kittens and puppies with the humane society for 4 years. Meet and greets are welcome, sometimes necessary. Happy to discuss personalized services such as grooming, long hikes, treats, training time, pet transport, etc. at time of booking. I can also take care birds, and other small critters. TBD I stay at home and my schedule is very flexible at this time. I would be delighted to pet sit for you! Using Rover all the time for my own pet sitting needs, I probably understand your needs too! My rates do vary based on the local market value. I will lock in your rate if mutually desired. I live in a pet friendly home/environment. /home! Fully fenced backyard, and leash walks around the neighborhood. Off-leash hikes could be an option after getting to know them!

“I've never felt so comfortable leaving my dog's in someone's care than I did with Susan and her family. Absolutely top notch people and excellent communicators. My oldest dog had a nagging injury and needed to have his activity limited and I returned home from my vacation to his improved health. My only fear is that as travel opens up again Susan will be unavailable next time I need her! Thank you again!”
