About: I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years. I will spend all of my time with your dog, hiking, swimming, playing in the snow and cuddling. Your dog will be my only priority. I am available to take care of all of your dogs with each scheduled visit. I will always ask if it is ok to also care for another dog along with yours. I am interested in boarding your dog/ dogs while you enjoy Lake Tahoe. I will be able to spend all of my time with your dog. I will provide a safe and clean environment for your dog. When we hike, swim, play in the snow, they will be on a leash. I will always be very careful with your dog.

About: Growing up with animals gave me a special appreciation and gratitude for all fur babies. I’ve cared for many animals throughout my life. I even lived on an animal sanctuary for a year and half tending to farm animals and I was just in Thailand a year ago volunteering with rescued elephants, cats and dogs. Where I live currently we have a few other happy dog friendly pups, all the more to guarantee your pup will be worn out ◡̈ I also have house sat from NYC, SLC, Sun Valley, ATL, LA, and Malibu. I’ve had several years as a house manager so no task is too big or small. I currently work remote full time and in my last year of my masters program. Fur baby breaks are perfect for my wide open schedule. I’m available and happily willing to take care of your fur babies within the comforts of their own home. Whether it’s just needing a few pets, feedings, plays, cuddles, beach visits or hikes I’m your guy.
3. Gaelen M.
“Gaelen has a long history as a pet owner and pet supporter. She was raised with many animals in her home. Three beautiful labs, two cats, a guinea pig and a school of fish. Gaelen has a great ability to bond with dogs and will be a great friend to any animal she is working with. She is also prompt and professional in appearance and working with your schedule. I would recommend Gaelen to help care for your dogs. If you can't be there she is a worthy substitute”
4. Kaylee C.
“Kaylee takes amazing care of my 2 German Shepherds! Her house is perfect for dogs, it backs up to a giant forest and has a big dog park right down the trail. Kaylee loved my babies like they were her own and I love having someone I can trust watch my babies anytime I'm in Tahoe.”
5. Leah S.
“Leah is amazing! She’s so sweet with our pup, you can tell she is an animal lover at heart. We’d recommend her to anyone!”
6. Savannah T.

About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.
8. Anthony S.
“We visited Tahoe on holiday last week. After vetting a few Rover walkers, I decided on Anthony. He's awesome - knowledgeable about dogs, trustworthy, etc.! He's my new go-to walker/sitter when we're in Tahoe. Thank you, Anthony, for taking such great care of our girl.”
9. Kendal F.
“Kendal has been my top-choice babysitter/ house-sitter/pet-sitter for the past eight years. As a freshman in high school, she began watching my two-year-old son. He loved spending time with her and I was immediately impressed by her responsible nature, her calm demeanor and her genuine interest in enjoying the time with my son. After the birth of my second son, I slowly introduced Kendal to the responsibilities of caring for an infant. I had her watch the baby alone for a few times and was again amazed at how easily she took to the new situations. Kendal clearly has a great ability to combine her intelligence, common sense and personality to handle stressful situations. Kendal quickly became our go-to-girl and would go above and beyond for our family. She spent nights at our home watching the two boys, two cats, three fish and one lizard. Our entire family trusts her and is very grateful for her help. I have spoken to Kendal on several occasions about school, family and outside activities. She is very grounded and is interested in doing her best in every situation. I have been a professor of microbiology at the university level and know what personalities it takes to succeed. Kendal is one of the most impressive teenagers to meet and it has been a pleasure to watch her grow up. (We've known her since the age of 14 to now, 23) I do not trust just anyone to take care of my children, pets and home, and for that, I am so glad we found Kendal. Sincerely, Britta Swanson”

About: I've been surrounded by dogs my entire life, developing a deep love and understanding of our four-legged friends. I had the privilege of caring for my two senior dogs until the remarkable ages of 17 and 15, ensuring they received the love and care they needed throughout their lives. My passion for dogs led me to volunteer with several dog rescues, where I've gained invaluable experience in caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. Currently, I foster puppies for the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, dedicating my time to providing them with a nurturing environment until they find their forever homes. My lifelong dedication to dogs ensures that your furry family members will be in the best hands. My schedule is extremely flexible and open, as I don't work outside the home. Aside from taking care of my family and getting my kids to their activities, I am fully available to discuss and accommodate your pet care needs. I'm happy to work with you to create a schedule that suits both you and your furry family members, ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve. My pet care services are tailored to each dog's unique needs, whether I'm caring for them in my home or yours. I recognize that every dog is different, so I adjust my approach to ensure they feel comfortable, happy, and stress-free. When I care for your pet in your home, I maintain their routine and environment, allowing them to feel secure without the disruption of another dog. My family lovingly cares for our own furry family member, Chloe, which means I do not bring her with me when I pet sit in your home. This allows your dog to relax in their own space without the stress of another dog's presence. I'm passionate about being active and enjoying the outdoors in all types of weather, whether it's for long, fast-paced walks or short, leisurely strolls. I cater to your dog's activity level, ensuring they get the exercise and attention they need. If your dog enjoys the company of other dogs and would benefit from companionship, I'm happy to bring Chloe along for walks. My goal is to provide personalized care that fits your dog's specific needs, making sure they are happy, healthy, and well-cared for.
