About: I’ve grown up with pets (dogs,cats, & horses) and have always enjoyed having a pet around. Looking to help others who might need a check in or extra walk with their pet during the day or while they’re out on the hill making some turns. I work from home & own a business in town. Always out and about and happy to make an extra stop to check in on a furry friend along the way. I was raised with walking my dog on a leash, and I still believe that is the safest method for a dog when outside walking around the neighborhood or on bike paths. When working with new dogs (or cats) if the area is not fenced in, a leash or harness will be requested so the pets safety is ensured. After creating a relationship with the pet, off leash walks are doable on trails.

About: I started fostering puppies in my early 20’s, have always had a roommate with a dog who I would take care of when they were out of town, got my own dog 3 years ago, and am always happiest when hiking/walking or snuggling on the couch with as many dogs as possible! I’m in Tahoe just for the winter, have a part time job but have tons of availability and flexibility. I take my dog on a long walk everyday, she’s super friendly and loves company! I have a fenced in yard, and a dog who absolutely loves friends. My roommate also have 3 dogs who enjoy having friends as well, the more the merrier in our house! Lots of snuggles, playtime with fur friends, lots of walks and outdoor time and no shortage of affection from humans!

About: I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years. I will spend all of my time with your dog, hiking, swimming, playing in the snow and cuddling. I am interested in boarding your dog while you enjoy Lake Tahoe. I live near the lake so there will be a daily visits walking along the shores. I will provide a safe and clean environment for your dog. When we hike, swim, play in the snow, they will be on a leash. I will always be very careful with your dog.

About: I grew up with dogs and have grew more and more responsible for taking care of them as I got older. My mom also owns a dog watching company back home in Lake Tahoe, so we constantly had multiple dogs in our house which I helped her feed ,walk and play with. I am currently working Monday through Thursday but have evenings and mornings open. Friday through Sunday I am very available and always looking for an activity to do outside that the pups can come on. My home has a fenced in yard and tons of indoor space. I also live across from a park the dogs can play in and there are multiple trail heads only steps away l.

About: What I would say sets me apart from other walkers/sitters, is my care and attention to each dog’s unique needs. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and adjust my care style accordingly. I have always had a passion for animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently working part-time, so my schedule is extremely flexible! I am available almost everyday, all day to care for your pups! I just recently moved up to South Lake for college and am living in the dorms, so I’m trying to save up some extra money doing what I love! On walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy. I always stay alert to surroundings, and avoid busy or unsafe areas. I always make sure to bring water on longer walks, watch for signs of tiredness or overheating, and give them time to sniff and explore. About: Hi there! My name is Andi, I’m a ski patroller and avalanche rescue dog handler at Heavenly. I’m on Rover to look for part time work while getting to do something I love, be with animals. I’m a full time ski patroller in the winter and an EMT in the summer. I grew up with and helped raise an few animals in my family, volunteered at my local SPCA and have several years of experience dog sitting and walking. I can take dogs on walks, trail running or swimming, I love anything outdoors. I am a certified EMT and although I do not have education in dog healthcare specifically, I would consider my medical and rescue skills as expert. I currently have a 10 month old black lab puppy that is in training to be an avalanche rescue dog and have worked with the other dogs on our team with training, obedience and avalanche rescue skills. I typically have Tuesday-thursday off each week and am available those days anytime to help with pet care. On Friday-Monday I am available in the morning and evening to help with walks, adventures or just letting your pet out and giving them some pets. I am excellent at routines and following directions, I am happy to learn and implement whatever routine works best for your pets. I love to trail run and hike and can take your pets with me or just hangout at the park or home if that’s what they prefer. I’m also very clean, organized and respectful of your home and space and can help keep it clean/ house sit as well!

About: I’m the go-to pet sitter (aka auntie) for friends when they leave town because they know that while they’re on their trip, instead of feeling guilty for leaving, they can trust their pets will be having too much fun with me to miss them too much. I’m the kind of pet-sitter that will let your beloved dog or cat cuddle me every night, make them sweet potato and peanut butter treats, and take the few minutes to practice tricks and develop training at the beginning of every walk to build trust, rapport, and skills. I love getting to see each pet’s quirks come out as we get to know eachother, and have fallen in love with every pet I’ve had the privilege of hanging out with, from older curmudgeons to mischievous rescues. I work from home and love to be active, so I’ll leave the doors open and be around for daytime company, cuddle breaks on the couch, toy time, and escaping to the beach or mountains to explore the wild together once I'm off the clock. I have a fenced backyard and often leave the studio door open during the day so dogs can easily go out to pee as needed, in a secure enclosure. I can only accept 2 dogs at a time for boarding/day care, so you can rest assured your sweet pup is getting lots of care and attention! I value building trust with pets over time, and see each new character as beloved member of a family that deserves to be given the space, love, and respect to thrive in their unique self-expression. I watch many of my friends/neighbors dogs when they are out of town and always make sure they are happy, fed, and included on adventures. I have experience taking dogs trail running, mountain biking, and backcountry skiing. Your dog will be well loved with me! I currently work part time so I have quite a few days a week that I am available for walks/boarding. I do not work weekends unless I pick up extra shifts at work so that is a great time for boarding as well. I live on a quiet back road with a big yard. There is not a fence. There is a big trail system behind my house and I often take dogs up there for exercise. Inside the house, I am always open to having a dog on the couch or bed as long as the owner is. I am not a partier and am an early morning person. Your dog will be sure to get a morning and evening walk at the minimum. The dogs I walk usually come for any adventure with me, but if you have a senior dog that just needs a place to hang out and be loved on, that’s fine too!

I’ve spent the past year working as a vet tech at a local veterinary hospital, so I’m very comfortable around dogs and cats. If your animal is every hurt or sick, I am qualified to take care, and watch over them. I’m used exercising, cleaning up after, and giving medications to animals. I’m also a dog mom to a black and white Mutt named Ray. As far as exercising your pet, it can range from short or long walks, trail walks, runs, or playing with toys, depending on what they need/like.
