About: Hey all! I took a little break working for an incline village reality company, but after 5 years I’m back. You might know me personally and if not I’m glad my profile caught your eye! Please take a look, I think I’m the perfect fit for anyone nervous to leave their baby behind….but we all deserve a vacation! To me our pets are family. I do not have children or pets of my own, but I believe pets are our children and so I treat them as such. Your friend will enjoy hanging out at my place, whether its a trip to the lake, a walk around many of the trails Tahoe has to offer or simply just hanging out in the house and enjoying the forgiving carpeted floors or sunshine on the deck. I have a very dog friendly condo, they can hang out on the couch or bed, and I love to get us outside and enjoying the beach or an easy going walk. I understand the very necessary importance of leashes and prefer to keep my new friends on a leash at all times during our first few visits as we get to know each other. After a while and only if you prefer we can start the process of letting them get some off leash time while at the beach or on walk. I am aware of the importance of diet and allergies, as well as the importance of making sure your loved one stays hydrated. I am capable of administering medication. I do not own any other animals so that is why I enjoy pet sitting yours! I truly love our furry friends and devote all my attention to my new buddy while we are hanging out. I enjoy sending you pictures and updates of our time together and I am always available for a phone call or text chat while you are away. The apartment I live in is big and carpeted with plenty of room to run around. The back deck opens up to the woods for easy access to quick potty breaks. I do have over 20 stairs leading down to my apartment front door from the quiet parking lot above, but I do offer an entrance to the back door that only has 3 steps up to the back deck if your pet has some trouble with stairs. I live close to the lake with plenty of easy access to hiking trails and beaches. If your friend needs to lodge with us then we have plenty of options, whether he or she enjoys the bed provided by you on the floor at the foot of my bed or if your friend enjoys taking over my bed then its fine by me. My significant other is also a huge animal lover and loves to be apart of our excursions and as he works as an editor from home, unless he’s traveling he will be at home to welcome you and the dog as well (if friend is staying at our home) We welcome all animals to our safe home as well as always ready to visit and take fun walks with pictures provided. I love cats, I’m able to stay the night for round the clock care. I hope to meet you!!! And can't wait to meet your special dog or cat friend! Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I work locally in Tahoe and organize my schedule so I can give pets my full attention when they’re with me. My mornings and evenings usually start and end with outdoor time—whether it’s a walk through the neighborhood, a hike on one of our trails, or just fresh air on the deck. During the day, I make sure pets get regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. I’m flexible and can adjust my routine around each pet’s needs, whether that means sticking to a medication schedule, going for longer walks, or creating a calm, quiet environment at home. I am by your pets side the whole time. While in the home we keep doors closed at all times and I consider myself very intuitive about when it’s time to go potty, or just get some fresh air. Leashes are required at all times while outside. Fresh clean water bowls and dishes are supplied, as well as plenty of blankets for lounging. If you prefer no walks or outings while on my watch that is just fine, just let me know what your ideal stay for your pet looks like. I am very familiar with senior dogs and can provide gentle outings as an option as well. If we have a beach day I transport your dog via my Lexus RX-350 (SUV) unless specified to stay on walks close to home. If you are open to walks near by then you are welcome to take a look at the trail we will take or suggest a favorite spot of your pets own.

About: I am a part time mental health therapistI love dogs and puppies!! I have a sweet 2 year lab who comes with. I'm active and adventurous and love taking dogs on adventures :) I have a super sweet, well-behaved 2 year old lab. We are out at least 3x a day on hikes and adventures in TRK or Tahoe City My space is a sacred dwelling and I treat other's sacred spaces the SAME way. I am detailed oriented to your needs in dog care.

About: I've had my own dogs, cats, horses and chickens. I've been pet sitting for a few years now. I try to go on as many walks as possible and even bring them to work if the family is ok with it. I love animals of all ages! I have a full-time job but I can work from home 3 days a week. So I have plenty of free time to go out for walks or simply let them outside. I will make sure they get the attention they need. If they are outside I won't leave them out after dark on their own. Lock all doors for other furry visitors. Make sure they have a comfortable bed. Sometimes sleep together if it's ok with the parents. Have lots of toys and time for walks and play.

About: I have taken care of dogs for many years. Weather it was volunteering at the local humane society or walking my neighbors dog. I also have a dog of my own at home who I miss so much since being at college. So I’d love to spend time with dogs whenever I can. I’m currently a college student with a somewhat light schedule. That being said I do have slightly varying schedule but I want to help you and your pets whenever I am free. I am happy to work with whatever your pet needs and is comfortable with in your home or at the park/beach. Though I can’t have pets where I live.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs my whole life. I watch a lot of my friends dogs when they go away and always make sure they are happy, fed, and included on adventures. I have experience taking dogs trail running, mountain biking, and backcountry skiing. Throughout the fall I am mostly taking online prerequisite classes to get into nursing school, so I am at home most days of the week! If your pup needs a buddy to hang at home with or someone to take them for daily adventures, I’m your person! If your pet is with me, I can assure you they will get lot’s of love and exercise in nature. Being able to take a break from class and go for a run with a dog would benefit myself as much as them! I live on a quiet back road with a big yard. There is not a fence. My neighbor has a friendly yellow lab that we often take for walks and care for as well. There is a big trail system behind my house and I often take dogs up there for exercise. Inside the house, I am always open to having a dog on the couch or bed as long as the owner is. I am not a partier and am an early morning person. Your dog will be sure to get a morning and evening walk at the minimum. The dogs I walk usually come for any adventure with me, but if you have a senior dog that just needs a place to hang out and be loved on, that’s fine too!

About: I've had an assortment of animals my whole life and am an avid animal lover. I have had dogs my entire adult life. All the way from puppies to seniors with special needs, short term and long term fosters, and rescues with unique personalities. I have also had dogs that needed surgical procedures and rehab so I know how to take care of animals who need physical therapy and/or extra special attention. I am known in my circles as the dog whisper and am on all of my friends emergency contact for anything that they need advice with. I believe in building a bond of trust and doing positive reinforcement training techniques with animals and humans alike. Pet and house sitting is my main gig. Which means that I have an open schedule and am available to help out with your fur babies. I would love to go to the beach, hike the trails and go on local adventures with your doggie(s)! Or I'll bring a stack of books and hang out with your kitty. Every animal and environment has their own unique set of needs. I look forward to developing a bond with your fur baby and getting to know what they want and need from me in order to make sure their physical, environmental and mental needs are being fulfilled.

About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.

About: Puppies are my expertise! Dog owner and volunteer at the local Truckee Tahoe humane society. Fostered over 30 puppies and dogs. Love taking dogs on fun adventures around Tahoe. My schedule is open for pretty much anything. Live locally and can accommodate anywhere around the lake. Prefer north/west/east shore. But open to other locations around Tahoe. My dog is family. So I will do the same. I understand how important pups are treat them as I would want my dog treated.

About: Hi, My name is Peach and I have an 8 year old border collie. We love spending time on the open trails, the park, or playing at home. We are open to all types of animals, Brewer used to live on a ranch so he is accustomed to many different types. We are always looking for a play buddy. Currently, we live in Tahoe City. I am in nursing school and work at the hospital. Making sure Brewer, or whichever animal I am caring for, has enough care and attention is extremely important to me. I make sure there are several different activities throughout the day for animals to stay happy and engaged. I am able to keep my dog at home, while I am also happy to come watch your pet in your home or take her out for walks/playtime.

About: Long time pet owner and animal lover! I have experience with dogs and cats of all stages, including high energy breed (Huskies/German Shepherds/Labradors) puppies in the training phase to geriatric, special needs, and aggressive dogs. I adopted a Senior dog and cared for him through his golden years. In his old age, he was no longer comfortable with other dogs, became reactive, and needed special health care before he passed. I understand that certain dogs need more tailored care and I would love to provide that! For the past several years I've done in-home cat sitting for cats of all stages. I've taken care of special needs cats including geriatric and terminally ill that required medication administration, syringe feeding, and extra love and comforting. I have extensive experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and all activity levels. I love taking dogs on hikes and giving lots of pets! I work fully remotely and have a flexible schedule. Typically I'm in a few meetings in the morning and my afternoons are open for longer walks or hikes. I have a fully fenced back yard with a very walker friendly neighborhood with sidewalks. I have a large open floor plan where animals are welcome throughout. I'm happy to let furry friends throughout my house or I can accommodate crating needs.
