Scott F.
“Scott is a “dog whisperer” I have never met someone so adept at all things dog. He makes the shy ones assertive, the anxious ones calm, the fat ones thin, the untrained obedient, and bonds with all like he’s part of the pack. Scott possesses a unique ability to garner trust and respect from the dogs from the first visit, I’ve seen Scott go into the middle of a dog fight with techniques to instantly quell the scuffle, take a bone from a dogs mouth, and give CPR to a dog and bring out back to breathing, pretty amazing”

Alexandra G.
“Alexandra is responsible, reliable, compassionate, and playful. Animals LOVE her, and vice versa. She has been amazing with our small rescue mutt (even bathing him when we were away :)!) Alexandra loves to walk Louie and he gets so excited to see her. In the past, she has stayed with our dog and two cats and she follows directions really well (our one cat needs meds once a day). She kept our home in nice order and was also very communicative throughout the process. If Alexandra is available, she is always my first choice to care for our pets.”

Amara S.

“Amara is great. She is detailed oriented. She took the dog to snow and lake to let him have fun. She also kindly refilled the dog’s water and wiped his paws. She is also super easy to communicate and got logistics like key / date change very smoothly. Highly recommend!”

Callie D.
“Callie is a natural around all animals especially dogs. Not only is she a dog lover, but she is also a responsible, conscientious person that is extremely reliable. I would highly recommend her and trust that she would take wonderful care of your pet.”

Luke E.
“Luke is really great with dogs, and he even worked on training our dog a new skill while he watched her. Our dog also loves his dog Rummy and had a blast playing with him.”

Tricia M.
“Where do I even begin to describe how incredible Tricia is in every way? If I had to sum her up in just a few words they would be: caring, dependable, and loving. In the last decade plus years that I’ve known her she has proven herself to be an incredible friend, a remarkably hard worker, and definitely the most organized person I know. Words pale in comparison to just how amazing she is, so, just know, if you hire her, you certainly won’t regret it!”

Julie M.
“My daughter Julie has grown up with a dog since the day she was born.,her Siberian Husky lived 13 years and her Wirefox Terrier lived 8 years and had little of puppies. Julie was very involved in caring for the health, training and exercise of her dogs, loving them every moment. This experience evolved into her desire to become an educated and degreed violin instructor for young children and adults. Her patience and calmness is remarkable. Julie would be a wonderful candidate for pet care giving. If I can provide any further information please email me.”

Christie C.

“Christie was awesome. She went above and beyond to make sure both of our dogs were happy and enjoyed their time with her.”

Emily G.

“Emily was great - she came to walk June exactly when she said she would and filled out a walk card each time for June which was super nice to see.”

Grace J.

“Grace was so great! My dog is large and is always scared of strangers. But Grace found a way to comfort her and everything went great. Such a pro!”

Alex U.

“Alex is very kind and takes very good care of my pup Archer. I don't worry about any problems when he is with her, and I know he'll get a good walk and some fun :)”

Nedra B.

“Nedra is so great with our dogs. They love her!”

Carissa M.
“Carissa has such a heart for animals! When she moved to Bend, she was unable to have pets of her own due to schedules and housing arrangements, so the first thing she did was go out and find a way to be involved in the community by loving other's animals! She has been fostering for the Humane Society and I've seen how much she truly cares about each animal that comes through her home. My own dogs have taken a liking to her and I have absolute confidence when I leave my pups with her, and you should too!”

Sonia B.
About: I have had a cat of my own for 5 years and have been taking care of dogs big and small all my life. I would love to get to know your pets personally. I am a long time Tahoe-Truckee local so I know all the best places for walks! I am currently working part time, and I love to get outside and moving. I am constantly going out for walks rain (snow) or shine! I am more than comfortable walking larger dogs, picking up their "business", or cleaning a litter box. I take my own pet to the local vet and would be willing to drive to Reno in case of an emergency in the middle of the night.

Shannon L.
About: My name is Shannon and I currently work at an elementary school so I will not be available full time throughout the day, but I am able to come home on lunch breaks and before and after work which is 9-3. I have a 7 year old French Bulldog who LOVES other dogs. I have frequently watched friends dogs in the past and am looking to start helping out others in need of local/cheaper dog sitting! I know first hand the struggles of affordable dog care in Tahoe for people who love to travel. Tahoe is an extremely dog friendly place, so for me, this is an opportunity to help other dog lovers find a great sitter who will love their dog like it is my own while it stays with me. I look forward to taking great care of your pet! Thank you!

Larissa W.

Fabiola C.
About: I became a dog sitter in 2019. I have watched many types of dogs from high energy pups to senior dogs with disabilities. I have a few but loyal clients outside of rover who continue to trust me with their pets and homes in the Tahoe Truckee area. I will be home the majority of the day to watch your pup. care info potty break every 3-4 hrs (the smaller the pup the more frequent the breaks). I will not leave your dog no longer than 1-2 hrs. Let me know your dog's feeding schedule and any additional care they may need. I only book one pet per visit. Due to the current doggy illness that is spreading I will take extra precaution to make sure your pet is safe.
