I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

About: I have experience working at a doggy day-care. I was responsible for watching and entertaining up to 25 dogs at a time of all ages and sizes! I work 10 hour shifts 4 days a week Tues-Fri. I am not home for pick ups/drop-offs between 7:15 AM-6:30 PM on those days. However my 3-day weekend gives me plenty of time to give your pup the love and attention they deserve! About: Not only have I had pets my whole life, I have cared for other peoples pets as well. I pride myself as being reliable. I consider our pets as family. Each have personalities, emotions, and specifics needs like every member of our family do. This is how I approach caring for pets. I am an active person so would love to take your pet on adventures. I am a full time graduate engineer student at University of Nevada, Reno. I have classes I have to attend Monday - Thursday for approximate 4-6hrs. When friends are out of town or at work all day I will take their dogs on walks/hikes or to the lake for some swimming. Usually my dog sitting days include a short walk (15-20minutes) in the early morning and a longer one mid-day to afternoon (45minutes - 1.5 hours) with another shorter evening walk. About: I received formal education and receive continual education of cat and dog behavior at my job as Lead Animal Caretaker for the Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe. I understand that every dog is an individual and should be treated as such. I have experience working with and handling dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. Dogs with some “undesirable” behaviors are not a problem for me, and I am prepared to adapt to each dog’s needs. Chances are that I have dealt with it before. About: I’ve taken care of of many dogs over the past several years ranging from longer stays (I watched the sweetest pitbull for 6 months), to short stays. I have a lot of experience with puppies, as well as dogs from a variety of backgrounds, as I frequently foster dogs for my local Humane Society. I am a mama to a sweet 5 year old German Shepard/ Husky mix named Zeina. She is very active and playful. I love animals and truly value their companionship. I take the responsibility of being a dog auntie very seriously and will give your pup all of my care and love. I’m very active and spend a lot of time outside. The best compliment I got was from my friend Juan who had to leave his dog with me for 5 months. He came back and told me his dog was in better shape and healthier than when he left him! I am comfortable caring for dogs who need medications, and am happy to care for dogs of all ages, but definitely do best with dogs who can go outside, and are okay off leash, as my dog and I go on two walks a day where she runs around off leash and gets to release all her energy! I prefer to go on off leash walks with a pack that has good recall. If your dog needs to be on leash, that is fine just please let me know. I work from home, so your dog would really never be alone for more than a couple hours. I can do potty breaks whenever needed and have lots of dog toys at the house. I have a couple acres around my house, but it’s not fenced, so the dogs are never out alone there. I have an enclosed deck where they love to sun bathe during the day. I’m close to walking paths, fields, and Donner lake dog beach which are all great for the dogs to play. I'll treat your dogs just as I treat my own...my dog is a very happy pup!

I have experience caring for a variety of breeds/sizes, ages, personalities, and levels of health. Over the past 15 years I have also sat for family, friends, and neighbors. I work remotely for a local company so my availability is pretty flexible and will allow me to be with your pup(s) as often as needed. Safety is my top priority. They will be leashed for potty breaks if there isn’t a fenced yard at home and on walks, especially while exploring busy trails and beaches.

We have a friendly, playful 9 month Great Dane who is already over 100 lbs so I wanted someone who was comfortable with that size. He is friendly, was here on time and was good with my dog. The pup came back happy and was pleased to see Zac on subsequent visits. I recommend him and will use again when needed.”
“Lindi was awesome. Highly recommended. Punctual, responsible, and trustworthy. She was flexible with changing booking times at the last minute which was great. She was mindful of locking all the door locks behind her which I thought was a nice touch. Although my poor, scared rescue always hid, Lindi tried her best to coax her but to no avail. Lindi sent me pictures of her hiding in the corner and it would make me giggle. Will hire Lindi again once my rescue gets more confident. THANK YOU, Lindi!”
About: I have experience working at a doggy day-care. I was responsible for watching and entertaining up to 25 dogs at a time of all ages and sizes! I work 10 hour shifts 4 days a week Tues-Fri. I am not home for pick ups/drop-offs between 7:15 AM-6:30 PM on those days. However my 3-day weekend gives me plenty of time to give your pup the love and attention they deserve! I’m from Nebraska and don’t currently own a dog but have all my weekends free to offer dog sitting services. I don’t have any other animal at my house but would love to take the dog/dogs to the park to socialize them and also on at least one walk a day if not more. I have a very active lifestyle so if your dog does too I can take them to Millcreek to go on hikes as well. If your dog isn’t as active or is too old for such strenuous activities then no worries I will still be able to spend a lot of time with the dogs on the weekends so they won’t be alone.

I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place.
