Pet Sitting Truckee

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes and personality for years and I continue to care for them now. I’m experienced with walks, feeding, bathing, playtime, and administering basic medications. I’m currently working remotely part-time, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility. I can’t think of anything better to do during my time than care for animals! I have a safe, pet-friendly home with a fenced yard where pets can play and get fresh air. I also have one friendly dog who can provide companionship, but I can easily separate or crate dogs if needed to ensure every pet feels safe and comfortable. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine and provide them with plenty of attention, care, and love.

About: I’ve owned and cared for anywhere from 2-5 dogs and 2 cats at a time my entire life, most of which have been rescues of all ages, sizes, and behaviors. Additionally, I’ve volunteered at the local Humane Society with dogs and cats for around 8 years and have dog and cat watched for family and friends countless times. I’m comfortable with administering oral medication, using feline inhalers, and caring for animals from puppies and kittens to senior dogs. I am generally available every day from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, but can start earlier or end later as needed. On Mondays I am only available until 3:00 PM. Animals love me and I love them- be it hiking and exploring a lake, throwing sticks in the yard, frolicking in the snow, taking a short stroll, chasing a feather on a stick, or just kicking our feet up for a chill day. I have 3 friendly dogs and 2 cats at my home (one laid back, one spunky 1.5 year old) and a large, unfenced area in the woods where dogs can be leash walked or free roam. There are 4 litter boxes and 2 cat trees throughout the spacious multi-floor house. My own dogs are outside playing the majority of the day with water bowls and a bowl puppy pool outside or cooling down inside.

About: I have dogsat consistently for the last year and have also volunteered in animal shelters since high school. I can board small dogs and love dog walking and sitting all dogs. I work mostly from home except for needing to leave the house a few times a week to teach in person. On the weekends I usually hike and can easily take a dog with me! My apartment can only accompany a small dog but I have experience dog sitting dogs of all sizes and ages. I’m a very careful dog sitter, and will make sure your dog stays safe and house stays clean.

I grew up surrounded by dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, from a sweet Cocker Spaniel to a Belgian Malinois, so caring for pups has always been a big part of my life. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, keep pets supervised, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

About: I am 25. Raised and crate trained my own dog. & I have cats! I am a babysitter, soccer coach, and currently in EMT school. I am responsible & clean for house sits. I am very active for your dog walking needs!!! I am currently working seasonally until Oct. 1st. For the remainder of September- I have availability for morning and evening walks and house sits! Once October hits I am doing online school and have FULL availability for your pets needs!!! For walks- I’ll adapt to any dogs walking preference! Energetic mountain dogs? I’ll take them on 5 mile hikes. Older pups that need 30 min of slow strolls? I got you. As for house sits- I am respectful, very very clean, and will take amazing care of your precious pets AND your personal environment.

About: I grew up with 2-3 100+ pound dogs in my home at a time growing up. I'm used to loving and respecting animals the way they are meant to be treated. Also I'm willing to DISCOUNT SERVICE if you pay cash! I currently have a job that makes my travel but when I'm at home I have a lot of time to take pups on their much needed walks. I try to give all animals the same respect I would give to humans. I'm used to dealing with dogs that can get a little overwhelmed in public, so I feel like I'm well versed in ways to help comfort your pup while get their daily exercise!

About: I am new to Rover but have dedicated my life to the wellness of animals over the last 20+ years. I love caring for animals and can provide exercise for an active lifestyle or TLC for a calming presence. I am comfortable giving medications, and I can maintain your training specifications. I make my own work schedule and can generally accommodate your pet’s timing needs with a few days notice. I am available most week days and weekends. I have an active dog and senior cat, that also remains active. My free time is spent spoiling them. I have also fostered for the humane society at times.

About: Everything will be done to keep your dog safe, healthy, calm, and happy while they are in my care. All visits include the following: lots of walks tracked with strava, photo updates, and extra love. Your best friend will get filtered water from fresh bowls each day, and only give your dog food and treats that you provide. You deserve what you want during your dogs stay. Consider this a vacation for your dog, and that all their needs will be taken care of so you can enjoy your time on your vacation, staycation, or day trip. Skiers and Snowboarders, drop them for the day with confidence in my expertise. Your dog is the foundation of my routine. I love to work, and cherish the opportunity to provide my high level services for your dog so that you can enjoy your time without them. All dogs get extra love in the mornings, and structure during walks. Assuming our dogs get along I’ll let them play. If needed, I’ll keep my guy from being too friendly, and I am prepared to keep dogs separated if they aren’t the best fit to be together. But I also limit how many dogs I take at once, to keep things easy on me.
