Umma doesn't really get along with other dogs too much, but Kymberly was able to take her to the dog park and make her socialize with other dogs (I couldn't believe while watching the videos). They can be on leash or off leash depending on recall and temperament. We have a senior dog in our home who sleeps all day but will keep your dog company somewhat.
