About: I have had a pet sitting business since the age of 12 and am now 50. I love animals and am kind of a self proclaimed animal psychic. I can feel their emotions, wants and needs. I have even diagnosed sick pets before they had visited a vet to confirm my guesses. All this to say I am very in tune with animals as they are with me. When caring for pets in a client's home, I take the time to learn their feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, favorite activities, and any special instructions. I treat every home with the same respect and care I would expect for my own and prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free while their owners are away. About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

About: I have owned a dog years ago. Miss having them around. I am only a dog aunt now. I am very active and love walks, runs, playing on the beach. I am working half days. I work 8-12 M-F. I usually ride bikes, walks, or hike after work. Pretty active lifestyle. Available on weekends full time. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for pets, including a dedicated guest room where they can sleep. Air conditioning is available during warmer weather to ensure your pet's comfort. I also offer in home pet care and can travel to your residence if preferred. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention and exercise, including two daily walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. While I do not have a fenced yard, I am located less than 10 minutes from Kiva Beach and am happy to take dogs there for additional outdoor time and enrichment

About: I grew up in a family with dogs and since I was a child I had a great love and compassion for all living creatures. My friend and I were bringing home wounded birds and little creatures to rescue them and any lost, stray dogs wondering on the streets. Upon moving to Tahoe area in CA whenever my friends needed help to take care of their two cats while they were traveling, I was more than happy to do so. I myself am a dog and a cat parent. Both my pets are rescued, and I believe it’s mutual because animals are simply best companions for me, my two teen kids and we all share passion for outdoors. As a Tahoe local for almost two decades and always being a dog owner, I know lots of dog friendly places and safe trails to take them for an adventure and exercise. My own dog Rambo has a very friendly personality, gets along with other dogs very well and is always happy to have a companion to play, walk, run or wrestle with. I will be more than happy to take care of your beloved pet and can assure you your pet will receive the care, attention and love he or she deserves, just like all living creatures do! I'm self-employed and always arrange my schedule to fit my own pets needs and can accommodate other pets needs. Most days I'm flexible to take a break mid day for a walk with my dog. Mornings and late afternoons is our time for a longer time outside. Weekends are for long adventures (hiking, running, xc skiing etc) We live in a quiet neighborhood with an easy access to the trails and a green belt area right out the door. We have a fenced backyard where the dogs can safely play. Since I’m a longtime (since 2007) resident of Tahoe area and a dog owner for all these years I know well the trails and areas that are dog friendly and safe to take them for a walk and/or playtime.

About: I have lots of dog experience, I’m a runner as well if you want your dog real tired. I also grew up with a Great Pyrenees and a shitzu so size does not matter to me. I’ve trained all my dogs growing up and have lots of animal care experience Mornings and evenings I do work a 9-5, but on weekends I am more flexible. I usually run in the evening as well if you’re looking for a harder workout I try to burn as many calories, give as much attention and love, then challenge their brains as well so they’re not bored. About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.

I grew up with a dog, used to live with two beautiful german shepherds for 3 years, and have two adventure cats, Swoop and Riley, that live with me on the road in my camper van. I love animals. About: Hello! My name is Alora, and I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve spent the past year working as a vet tech at a local veterinary hospital, so I’m very comfortable around dogs and cats. If your animal is every hurt or sick, I am qualified to take care, and watch over them. I’m used exercising, cleaning up after, and giving medications to animals. I’m also a dog mom to a black and white Mutt named Ray. As far as exercising your pet, it can range from short or long walks, trail walks, runs, or playing with toys, depending on what they need/like. House sitting will consist of me keeping your pet company, feeding, and all the exercise they need. If needed I can spend the night, or if you prefer I can come back in the morning. I am currently a bartender so I can be available to take your animals out during the day while you work! I love to get outside and hike, bike, and go to the beach, so if you have an adventurous dog I can cater to its needs. I have a fenced in back yard that your dog can run and play in, as well as a few Roomate’s who love dogs as well.
