About: I am an experienced dog walker with a background in SPCA volunteering, wildlife rescue work, and in-home pet sitting. I have lifelong experience with dogs and focus on providing safe, reliable, and attentive care. My goal is to make sure each dog is comfortable, exercised, and well cared for during every walk. Pet care fits into my weekly routine on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when I dedicate my time to dog walking and pet care services in the Truckee area. I keep a limited schedule so I can provide reliable, consistent, and focused care for each pet. This allows me to prioritize safety, communication with owners, and quality time with every dog I work with. I focus on providing safe, attentive, and respectful care in each pet’s familiar environment or during walks. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, maintain routines, and prioritize each animal’s comfort and well-being. About: I have had dogs my entire life and will treat yours as my own. I am happy to send pictures and updates of our walk or time together while you are away. I can take your dog on a walk around the neighborhood, run, hike, to the river or lake, or whatever you suggest. I can provide pet sitting at your house or my own. I have a home with a fenced in yard perfect for doggy day care. I have a flexible schedule that can fit your needs. I'm looking forward to meeting your pup! I am a local teacher who works Mon-Wed so those days I am gone during school hours. Thur-Sun and summer I am available with a flexible schedule. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in yard that’s perfect for a pup. My most recent dog was an old golden retriever with medical needs so I am used to providing special care.

About: I've had dogs since I was a boy with my first pup Emma sleeping in my room every night. Since, my wife Rose and I have adopted our dog Lily as a puppy over 7 years ago and before that cared for an ederly dog, Breyer, for about a year and a half where we made his last year comfortable. Last year we also adopted a couple kitties Frank and Poppy who can be precocious but generally keep to themselves. Lily is the biggest sweetheart (ask anyone on Rover) and now that we have our own home I want to invite other dogs over for playtime, boarding, and all the walking they can ever need. Lily has been through extensive professional training which included detailed methods for us on how to treat and take care of all kinds of dogs. I work from home full time on a flexible schedule so I can tend to dogs as needed. We have a big fenced in yard for play and the usual routine would be a long walk about 3 in the afternoon with frequent potty breaks as needed. Fully fenced in yard, dog house outside with a dog door. Essentially, if your pup comes to our house they are treated like a member of our family.

About: Dog walks, runs, hikes, parks, grooming, play time, and chill time. A lot of TLC of course too! Dietary needs vary by breed and by individual. We can talk about feeding schedules and any particular preferences. Experienced with medication administration if needed. I’d love to know more about the personality of your pet(s)! Are they good with other animals? Are they frightened by anything? What are some of their favorite things? Updates on the stay are 1-3 times per day with pictures (catered to your preference) Let’s meet! Have questions? Let’s set up a meet and greet through Rover at no charge. I look forward to meeting you and your fur family. My schedule is extremely flexible and I design it with your pets care in mind. I'm very conscious of each pets needs! I can be active and take your pup(s) on outdoor adventures or snuggle up on the couch with some treats. I am currently not offering pet care services in my home, but I am more than happy to set up a meet & greet so that we can get to know each other and your fur family's needs!

About: I grew up with a household of pets. After leaving my childhood home I moved to the Tahoe Truckee area and began working for a veterinarian. I studied animal behavior in college and I continued to work in the veterinary profession until my retirement in 2022, for 40 plus years! I have always devoted myself to the best of care for all of my own pets, including hamsters, parakeets, cats, dogs, rats, and chickens, and to the pets of friends and family including horses. I am very tuned into their health and medical needs as well as their everyday fun and attention needs. I love to walk and am very safety conscious. I am free to offer services many days. Now that I am newly retired I do spend some time traveling away from home or with other part time activities but, in general, my schedule is very flexible. As I currently have a senior cat who is afraid of dogs, I prefer most of my services be in your home or walking your dogs. However, some cat loving, mellow dogs might be possible for short periods in my home as needed. I do not have a fenced yard so outside time in my home would be leash walking time, dependent on the needs of your dog, for safety.

About: I have house sit for neighbors and friends since I was 12 years old, I have watched dogs, cats, even fish. I am great with pets and knowledgeable about a whole range of pets, from dogs to fish to even reptiles, amphibians, and birds. My schedule is flexible, I am available most days unless specified. I work from home as an artist. I would say my max preferred stay length is about 4 days. I have a large yard, live near many trails for walks, and the rest of my family love dogs. I have a dog, Lucy, she is 13 and can get a bit jealous, but overall she is very sweet.

I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays vary, but generally after 2pm I have a fenced backyard with plenty of grass, one very friendly dog to keep yours company, and two dog kennels to crate if needed.

About: I’ve been around animals all of my life and can’t imagine life without one or several in my own home-and I totally get the anxiety over leaving your loved ones behind while you have to work or go on a trip-let me help you with some of that anxiety the next time you need your furry family members watched! I’ve worked at animal emergency rooms and general animal hospitals for years as an assistant and am skilled at noticing any emergency situations. I can be trusted with your special needs pets, whether it be administering medications or taking easy walks for your elderly pets. I’ve worked at a wildlife sanctuary for 2 years with less-than-friendly wild animals and have trained dogs for a several years at a center for rehabilitation. Animals are my passion in life! I am a full time student juggling part time work and internships before I graduate at UNR next May, but I do my best to maintain a flexible schedule for Rover assignments Mon-Sun, so long as you can give me a 1-3 days notice! I have 2 cats and 2 dogs at home and they have the most spoiled lives ever! I live with a large family and not a lot of space at home however so boarding and sitting in my own home are not an option, unfortunately. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind while you have to be away-I’m here to help you and your pets with ease!

About: Hi. My name is Hannah. My partner & I just relocated to the Renton area. We have a very friendly Bernese Mountain Dog. Our dog loves to hike, swim, sleep & play with other pups. I love to play tug of war and fetch with the dogs I have sat in the past. I have a flexible schedule to walk, feed, or let your dog(s) out. I look forward to helping take care of your dog(s) when you are out of town or busy. I look forward to creating a bond with you and your dog(s) soon. I work part time & hike/bike/raft in my free time so I am very available to help & offer your dog lots of exercise if they need it. I also enjoy trying new restaurants, especially dog friendly ones. About: Having had two dogs, I love being active with them and making them feel loved. Because that’s what they do for us too, am I right?! I have some experience in basic training, house sitting/dog sitting for short and long periods of time. I have been pet sitting for over ten years for all types of dogs, big and small, fluffy and smooth, young and old. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your dog(s) to keep them and me active, happy, and healthy! About: I specialize in getting exercise and adventure for your dog. Only working on a one-to one basis, I will be hiking all over the Tahoe area daily with your dog. Dogs should be well-behaved in controlled off-leash environments. The real fun starts once the snow falls! With over 20 years of backcountry skiing experience, I cross-country ski with dogs when conditions permit. This is why I only prefer medium to large dogs with lots of energy. Special attention is paid to safety, and the appropriate terrain, weather and snow conditions for your dog. Some days though, the conditions are not appropriate, so we will turn around and find another activity for Fido to burn some energy. Give your dog the opportunity to love the snow as much as you do!

About: We have taken care of animals all our lives and have a genuine love for each of them. We have experience with it all; new puppies and kittens, as well as older furry friends who may need special treatment and/or administering medication. Between the both of us, we always make it a priority to work with our pups with lots of playtime, exercise, training and socialization daily. We both are self employed and create our own schedules so we are flexible and work together to ensure our pets have an enjoyable & active day. We have a large dog-friendly fenced-in yard as well as amazing trails just outside our backdoor. Our Aussie-Border Collie mix, Penny is super friendly and submissive and gets along with everyone. She is super gentle when needed and can hold her own with larger dogs also. We have a very well socialized cat, Eleanor, who LOVES dogs and visitors.

About: I have owned and loved dogs my whole life, and really just love animals in general. I volunteer at the Nevada Humane Society and have completed "Fear Free" training. I have experience with senior dogs and understand their needs and limitations. I will be sure to follow all instructions and love your fur babies as much as you do. I recently retired and now have time to pet all the dogs! I am recently retired so I have a very flexible schedule for dog walking, mid-day potty breaks/play time, or house sitting. I can often take same day requests. I follow all instructions given and I am very good at communicating via text if any questions arise, or if you just want a quick photo of your fur baby. I am extremely trustworthy and reliable. My past career in information technology project management has made me very organized, punctual, and detail oriented.
