About: I am Andi, mom to 12-year-old Henry. Henry LOVES dogs and is excited to host some new dog friends in our home. Henry and I will work together to make sure your dog is happy, healthy, exercised, fed and loved. We had an elderly dog who we loved dearly, who passed over the rainbow doggie bridge, so to speak, in May. We are used to administering medicine and taking care of all types of dogs because of him. We also have a toddler in our home so dogs must tolerate little kids. Andi is home full-time to be with your dog. Henry goes to school Monday - Friday but is excited to help on weekends and after school. We live in a neighborhood without fences. We will walk your dog as many times per day as they need. They can be on leash or off leash depending on recall and temperament.

About: My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections. I currently work as a teacher and have extended breaks during the fall, winter, and summer. During the school year I will have availability during afternoons and evenings for some care activities, and weekends for more. During breaks, if not traveling, and I will have a lot more flexibility daily. Update 06/08: I am currently on summer break from teaching. My weekday availability has been updated with more available times/ services. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.

She even took photos for each visit. Socks seemed to be very comfortable around her. Kitt is still shy, but that is how she has always been around other people. About: I grew up with a household of pets. After leaving my childhood home I moved to the Tahoe Truckee area and began working for a veterinarian. I studied animal behavior in college and I continued to work in the veterinary profession until my retirement in 2022, for 40 plus years! I have always devoted myself to the best of care for all of my own pets, including hamsters, parakeets, cats, dogs, rats, and chickens, and to the pets of friends and family including horses. I am very tuned into their health and medical needs as well as their everyday fun and attention needs. I love to walk and am very safety conscious. I am free to offer services many days. Now that I am newly retired I do spend some time traveling away from home or with other part time activities but, in general, my schedule is very flexible. As I currently have a senior cat who is afraid of dogs, I prefer most of my services be in your home or walking your dogs. However, some cat loving, mellow dogs might be possible for short periods in my home as needed. I do not have a fenced yard so outside time in my home would be leash walking time, dependent on the needs of your dog, for safety.

About: My love for animals started when I was a little girl on a small family farm caring for goats, chickens, horses, and of course—dogs. I participated in 4H and horse competitions, which taught me patience, confidence, and responsibility around all kinds of animals. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities—from tiny lap dogs to giant mountain adventurers, puppies to seniors. During COVID my daughter began boarding dogs, and we naturally grew into the dog care business together. It’s become a true family passion and we absolutely love what we do. I’m available full-time, including weekends and holidays. Your dog will get plenty of attention, outdoor time, potty breaks, walks, play, and cuddles throughout the day. When dogs stay with us, they’re treated like family. We live 15 minutes from downtown Truckee on 22 private acres of forested land with a meadow and trails to explore. We also have a secure fenced area for safe outdoor play and structured time. Inside, there are cozy napping spots and fresh water available throughout the home and property. About: Growing up with dogs my whole life, there has not been a year where we have not had dogs in the house.... meaning we love them! Josie loves to go on a morning run, so if your pup is a runner... get ready to join the pack! On the other hand, my family's dog, Molly, loves her walks and play time. We also have a park and great trails in our neighborhood meaning the day is open for adventures. Our condo is in a wonderful area close to the beach with lots of grass and easy access to walking trails. As a home welcome to dogs, we love having them sleep with us but can crate them if that is their safest spot. We have the space to feed dogs separately if needed.

About: I've had dogs since I was a boy with my first pup Emma sleeping in my room every night. Since, my wife Rose and I have adopted our dog Lily as a puppy over 7 years ago and before that cared for an ederly dog, Breyer, for about a year and a half where we made his last year comfortable. About: Ive had dogs my entire life. We have three dogs of our own. Two small dogs - Dominic and Bella - who are both 11 years old and easygoing. We have one larger 40 lb entlebucher who is 2.5 years old, very friendly and loves chasing balls. I live with my long time partner of seven years on the west side of Petaluma, CA. I take our dogs frequently on walks, hikes, and/or visits to the dog park. We have two fenced yards, one in front with dog door accessibility and one larger yard in the back. I am preparing to go back to school, so until September I have free time to care for pups and take them on adventures! We go on morning hikes or visits to the dog park everyday as our dogs need exercise. If your dog needs to be walked separately, that is not an issue. I am happy to do multiple walks during the day. For doggy day care they would need to be able to get along with other dogs. We live in a 1000 sq. ft home on a large lot in West Petaluma. The lot is fenced in both the front and back areas. The front area is a lawn where the dogs mainly use it as a restroom, and it has dog door access. In the rear, we have a large yard with garden beds. I often go out there to read or work in the garden and will bring dogs out with me.
About: I specialize in getting exercise and adventure for your dog. Only working on a one-to one basis, I will be hiking all over the Tahoe area daily with your dog. Dogs should be well-behaved in controlled off-leash environments. The real fun starts once the snow falls! With over 20 years of backcountry skiing experience, I cross-country ski with dogs when conditions permit. This is why I only prefer medium to large dogs with lots of energy. Special attention is paid to safety, and the appropriate terrain, weather and snow conditions for your dog. Some days though, the conditions are not appropriate, so we will turn around and find another activity for Fido to burn some energy. Give your dog the opportunity to love the snow as much as you do!

About: I am Andi, mom to 12-year-old Henry. Henry LOVES dogs and is excited to host some new dog friends in our home. Henry and I will work together to make sure your dog is happy, healthy, exercised, fed and loved. We had an elderly dog who we loved dearly, who passed over the rainbow doggie bridge, so to speak, in May. We are used to administering medicine and taking care of all types of dogs because of him.
