About: I am Andi, mom to 12-year-old Henry. Henry LOVES dogs and is excited to host some new dog friends in our home. Henry and I will work together to make sure your dog is happy, healthy, exercised, fed and loved. We had an elderly dog who we loved dearly, who passed over the rainbow doggie bridge, so to speak, in May. We are used to administering medicine and taking care of all types of dogs because of him. We also have a toddler in our home so dogs must tolerate little kids. Andi is home full-time to be with your dog. Henry goes to school Monday - Friday but is excited to help on weekends and after school. We live in a neighborhood without fences. We will walk your dog as many times per day as they need. They can be on leash or off leash depending on recall and temperament.

We left our two golden retrievers with them while we were away on a Christmas vacation / getaway, but I think the real vacation was the stay Emberly & Rippy had while we were away. We received so many pictures of the fun they were having. It's clear they truly loved our babies. I can't imagine a better temporary home than with Wendy & Dave. We have a couple of longer trips planned & would not consider any other boarding options. Thank you for showing our furry family so much love.”

The house was clearly set up for dog sitting, with a doggy door into the yard, a gated area near the kitchen, and double handles on the front door so nobody sneaks out 😊 I didn't feel worried at all during Bella's time there, and she came home happy and rested!”

About: My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections. I currently work as a teacher and have extended breaks during the fall, winter, and summer. During the school year I will have availability during afternoons and evenings for some care activities, and weekends for more. During breaks, if not traveling, and I will have a lot more flexibility daily. Update 06/08: I am currently on summer break from teaching. My weekday availability has been updated with more available times/ services. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.
