“Aaron and Nicole were flexible, communicative, and based on the photos, my dog seemed to love them! I really appreciate how they walked him on the trails near their home.”

“Melissa is the best! Great communication and very dog friendly environment. This was my first time ever leaving Gus overnight & she went above and beyond to make sure he felt right at home. He and Cody were instant BFFs & it’s great to know he has someone who makes him feel so safe and comfortable when I am not able to be with him.”

“Our very anxious dog had the most wonderful time with Susan and her family! They gave her lots of love and took great care of her. Susan sent adorable pictures of our dog, who made herself right at home. I highly recommend Susan for boarding! We will be back for sure!”
“Great pet care for our corgi. April & Rachel were awesome in communication, flexibility, sending pictures and updates. My daughter has also used their pet services and was greatly appreciative of how attentive and caring they were. Definitely 5 star ⭐️ experience and will definitely be using their services again! We were able to enjoy our trip knowing Toby was in great hands! 🐶”

“Dani was very kind to us and our older pup. She took him last minute and treated him like a king! He slept in her bed and was allowed on the furniture. She has a big backyard that he loved. He came home exactly how we left him - calm and happy. We will absolutely be working with Dani again. 🐾♥️”

“Kathy was wonderful with our pup! She sent the sweetest photo updates of their adventures, and it seemed like he was having the best time. We will definitely reach out to Kathy again!”

“We were so lucky to find Christina last minute. She was so wonderful with Luke and her kids also love to help out and watch the dogs! We had a delay in travel and Christina was super flexible and accommodating.”

“Great service and very personable. I was worried that my puppy, Koa, wouldn’t adjust to the new environment but Ron made sure to make her feel right at home. Ron was a professional through and through. I can’t thank you enough and I’m sure Koa and Lex will have another play date soon”

“So grateful to have found Shawna on Rover. We got married in Reno but live out of town. We dropped off our pup Moose on Thursday evening, and picked him up Sunday afternoon. We got updates the whole weekend on his stay. The morning of our wedding, we got photos of him with a bow tie and it made us feel like he was truly taken care of. Shawna is an amazing pet caretaker. We had family members that stayed at a pet friendly hotel, just to be told their dogs where too loud and were about to be kicked out of their room. We asked Shawna last minute if she could take in three more pups. Without hesitation, she offered to have them stay so my family didn't have to worry about them during the wedding! I recommend Shawna for all of your pet needs. She really seems to enjoy helping those in need, and you can tell she loves animals! Thank you again for everything!”

“Jacob and his fiancée did such a wonderful job taking care of Teddy! He provided photos and updates often and I was confident he was being well taken care of. My puppy always looked so happy and like he was always having so much fun!”

“Ronnie and his little pups are wonderful! He’s very caring and gentle with my blind senior dog. My young puppy loved playing with his dogs. My boys had a great time and will be back again.”

“Millie loves going to see Megan’s family. I never worry if she’s well cared for. When my flight was delayed she was more than accommodating. Will never use anyone else🥰”

“Could not have been a better experience! Our puppy dog Tito was treated as family during the course of his stay. Andrea was amazing at letting me know he was doing ok and I think Tito has found a new best friend with Henry! Thank you all so very much !!!”

“Katherine was phenomenal, sending daily updates with pictures and making sure to stay in touch with us on how they were doing. She certainly was caring and reassuring, and the pups enjoyed their time with her, which was a great thing to see. They both missed her as we picked them up and took off. Definitely will be returning.”

“Both of our pups lived it over at Madelyn’s place. They got along with her dogs and she also took them up for a nice hike. Will certainly be having her watch them again.”

About: We have taken care of animals all our lives and have a genuine love for each of them. We have experience with it all; new puppies and kittens, as well as older furry friends who may need special treatment and/or administering medication. Between the both of us, we always make it a priority to work with our pups with lots of playtime, exercise, training and socialization daily. We both are self employed and create our own schedules so we are flexible and work together to ensure our pets have an enjoyable & active day. We have a large dog-friendly fenced-in yard as well as amazing trails just outside our backdoor. Our Aussie-Border Collie mix, Penny is super friendly and submissive and gets along with everyone. She is super gentle when needed and can hold her own with larger dogs also. We have a very well socialized cat, Eleanor, who LOVES dogs and visitors.
“Ivy was great! She provided a meet and great to ease our concerns of our dog being around her cat since our dog has never been around cats much. Definitely would recommend Ivy to care for your pets when needed.”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
