Hi, I’m Monica, a Truckee local, animal lover, and pet owner with two cats and a dog of my own. A huge reason why I was interested in doing this is because I know firsthand how hard it can be to find a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter in Tahoe. Leaving your animals with someone else can be stressful, and I want people to feel confident that their pets are genuinely cared for while they’re away. I live an active mountain lifestyle and am great with dogs that love getting outside, but equally happy caring for shy cats, senior pets, or animals that just need calm companionship and consistency. I’ve also spent time involved in ski patrol and search and rescue environments, which I think speaks to the kind of person I am, responsible, calm under pressure, attentive, and safety-oriented. I promise to care for your animals the same way I’d want someone caring for mine ❤️

Monica was great and Leo loved her!
Our pups were well taken care of and loved by Monica. The pictures received showed they were happy and wished we’d stay gone longer. 🤣 We received daily updates from them playing outdoors to snuggles in the morning and afternoon. Having Monica here allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our getaway.
Monica was great! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures of Pedey, both relaxing at home and on walks. I was totally comfortable leaving Pedey with her and will definitely use her in the future!
Monica was so very helpful! She sent me so many photos of miss Jade. I knew she was a great sitter because my cat has a hard time coming out when new people come around. But she was not shy with Monica!! A good sign indeed. She gave her a lot of love and pets. I would highly recommend Monica and will definitely have her watch Jade again! (:
