Hi, I’m Monica, a Truckee local, animal lover, and pet owner with two cats and a dog of my own. A huge reason why I was interested in doing this is because I know firsthand how hard it can be to find a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter in Tahoe. Leaving your animals with someone else can be stressful, and I want people to feel confident that their pets are genuinely cared for while they’re away. I work remotely running my own bookkeeping business, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be very present and attentive with the animals I care for. I’m detail-oriented, communicative, and reliable, and I’ll always treat your pets and home with respect. I live an active mountain lifestyle and am great with dogs that love getting outside, but I’m equally happy caring for shy cats, senior pets, or animals that just need calm companionship and consistency. I’ve also spent time involved in ski patrol and search and rescue environments, which I think speaks to the kind of person I am, responsible, calm under pressure, attentive, and safety-oriented. I’m currently building my Rover profile and offering introductory pricing while I establish reviews and relationships with local clients here in Truckee. I promise to care for your animals the same way I’d want someone caring for mine.
