About: I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals. I watch a number of my friend's dogs, and each has a unique and special routine and they have all come to trust me a look forward to visiting. I stay a bit at some of my friend's houses if they want me to help with house watch, plants, delivery receipt and other home needs while they are traveling and away on extended trips.

Setting all of that aside, she was so nice to my dog, Roscoe, who seems to have had a blast in her care. Malea sent lots of updates throughout the day, which, if I needed reassuring at all (I didn’t because I instantly trusted her), certainly did the trick. And she was very accommodating when holiday ski traffic was beyond ridiculous getting back to her place for pickup and even nicer when our ski plans changed necessitating a cancellation of our last day of daycare services. About: Growing up with dogs my whole life, there has not been a year where we have not had dogs in the house.... meaning we love them! To add to growing up with dogs, I (ambitiously) got a puppy during my senior year of college. This taught me to balance caring for a puppy while excelling in school and enjoying my senior year. This challenge gave me a new insight into putting 100% care into a pet and made my bond grow deeper with my dog, Josie. My family's dog, Molly, is a therapy dog for hospitals and schools allowing me to see the true joy that dogs bring into people's lives. That said, I truly enjoy finding the joy and laughter each dog brings into our home! Working from home, I am truly present to take care of and be attentive to all dogs. There are a few days where I will be unavailable due to travel or subbing at school, but those are blocked off on a weekly basis. Josie and I always start our morning with an activity. Josie loves to go on a morning run, so if your pup is a runner... get ready to join the pack! On the other hand, my family's dog, Molly, loves her walks and play time. We also have a park and great trails in our neighborhood meaning the day is open for adventures. Our condo is in a wonderful area close to the beach with lots of grass and easy access to walking trails. As a home welcome to dogs, we love having them sleep with us but can crate them if that is their safest spot. We have the space to feed dogs separately if needed.

About: I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals. I watch a number of my friend's dogs, and each has a unique and special routine and they have all come to trust me a look forward to visiting. I stay a bit at some of my friend's houses if they want me to help with house watch, plants, delivery receipt and other home needs while they are traveling and away on extended trips.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and each one has meant the world to me. I promise to give that same love and care to your pets! I work from home, so I am pretty available and flexible. I’m happy to do daily walks and open to a repeating schedule, or just a one time event! I am very easy going when house sitting. A detailed note is all I need, and you can expect to receive plenty of photos of your pet(s). I have two cats in my home that are used to having dogs around! We can discuss boarding in my home if needed.
