About: I love animals and started dog care for a family in high school. I’m a runner so I ran with the large dogs and learned to adjust walks to the dogs. I don’t have a dog of my own so i love caring for other people’s dogs. I’m a student at Chico State, but I’m available to dog walk on Thursday’s and weekends. I’m available for house sitting every day of the week :) Any dog I am sitting will enjoy either a leisurely stroll or a run depending on the dog. I love both dogs and cats (and all other animals) so I will shower your fur babies with love.

About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! Please feel free to reach out to me before booking my care and I will answer any and all questions! Caring for your family member fits into my routine because at the moment I am a dog Mom of one dachshund with a good partner that loves her as much as I do! I also do volunteer work, which is extremely flexible. Aside from that a lot of what I do is online, which works out great when pet care is involved I will care for your family member by noting all of their needs as well as asking any questions I have about the environment if it was not already covered in our introduction. I like to take notes!

About: I grew up in the country with all kinds of animals. Dogs have always been my heart. From horses to hamsters - I enjoy them all. I work full time, remotely, but will work with you to create a schedule for your doggie that ensures they get the fresh air and adventure they deserve. I have 2 dogs (doodle and morkie) and they enjoy walks twice a day. I love the joy they experience exploring the mountains. I look forward to doing the same for your family members.

About: I've had furry friends my whole life, 5 Golden Retrievers to be exact! I love all kinds of pups, cats, and animals. I've had a lot of experience walking and caring for dogs! I'll love your dog like my own and hope to help out with getting him / her out of the house while you're away. I have experience walking / exercising all sorts of dogs; big, small, old, young, high energy, and social butterflies. I'm currently work from home, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to play with your pup! I'm dedicated to taking the best care of your furry friend. While visiting your dog for weekly walks, I will defer to your defined house rules when it comes to greeting and socializing with your dog. I will be sure to keep any preferred doors closed, gates up, and toys away. I will reinforce rules like staying off of furniture, etc. I will always be sure to refill water bowls as needed and will leave your home tidy and clean. If allowed, I will be happy to give your dog treats after a successful walk! I have also had many opportunities to house sit and truly enjoy it! I will treat your home as my own, keeping things clean, tidy, and respecting your space. My priority remains the same among all of my house sits, making sure your home, house plants, animals, and daily responsibilities are well looked after and taken care of.

Walks, feeding, medication administration, socializing are all a specialty. I am a second year Master's student with a flexible schedule to meet your needs. I am a Master's of Public Health student working remotely. My schedule is flexible depending on the needs of the pets, let me know and I can accommodate! About: Puppies are my expertise! Dog owner and volunteer at the local Truckee Tahoe humane society. Fostered over 30 puppies and dogs. Love taking dogs on fun adventures around Tahoe. My schedule is open for pretty much anything. Live locally and can accommodate anywhere around the lake. Prefer north/west/east shore. But open to other locations around Tahoe. My dog is family. So I will do the same. I understand how important pups are treat them as I would want my dog treated.

About: Have taken care of friends' and neighbors' pets through most of my childhood, and continue to dogsit for friends during vacations, weddings, or other needs. I love spending time in the woods, so can take your pet on outdoor adventures, hiking, biking, skiing, or snowshoeing. Pet care is something I do in my free time, outside of working as an outdoor educator or substitute teaching. I plan to spend most of the Fall, Winter, and Spring in Truckee, so weekends or weekdays are all on the table. I keep a watchful eye over pets in my home, and allow them safety within and without the house. I live near downtown Truckee, so time outside is spent on the leash. I always leave pet food and water out, and have pet-loving roommates.

About: I've fostered, sat, and rescued everything from puppies to purebreds. Although I don't currently have any pets, I'm thrilled to take care of yours! I'll treat them like my own. I'm free for weekends, weekdays, short notice, and holidays. If I have to go to work I will try to not leave them alone for more than 6 hours. I can effectively manage special-needs animals with patience and kindness. I can't board pets in my home, but I am available to provide compassionate care for your animals in your own home.

About: I raised my golden retriever from a puppy and took care of him until his senior days. I love taking pets on outdoor adventures, hikes, swimming. I am very attentive and caring. I am currently working part time, and am available every day of the week to watch your pet. Overnight or day sitting, I am happy to do it! I am a renter, so pets are not allowed in my home. About: I love all things outdoors and believe that life is better with a dog by your side. I love checking out new hiking and running trails, and a companion by my side makes it even better. I usually run 3-7 miles daily, and would love to take your doggie with me! I love furry cuddles, wet kisses, excited greetings, and a good game of fetch. I grew up in a household with multiple dogs and cats and have been a fur mama in my adult years. I’ve provided animal daycare for cats, dogs, chickens, bunnies, and even lizards! I can comfortably walk 3 dogs at once and am able to transport pups in my own vehicle if needed. About: We have taken care of animals all our lives and have a genuine love for each of them. We have experience with it all; new puppies and kittens, as well as older furry friends who may need special treatment and/or administering medication. Between the both of us, we always make it a priority to work with our pups with lots of playtime, exercise, training and socialization daily. We both are self employed and create our own schedules so we are flexible and work together to ensure our pets have an enjoyable & active day. We have a large dog-friendly fenced-in yard as well as amazing trails just outside our backdoor. Our Aussie-Border Collie mix, Penny is super friendly and submissive and gets along with everyone. She is super gentle when needed and can hold her own with larger dogs also. We have a very well socialized cat, Eleanor, who LOVES dogs and visitors.

“Matt is a big, strong guy who is able to handle our two dogs at the same time. In particular one of our dogs is nearly 80 pounds and has a very high prey drive, and I felt confident that Matthew would keep him in control and wear him out. They were able to cover a lot of ground in an hour and our dogs came home tired and happy. Matt is easy to communicate with, showed up on time, and generally just a pretty chill guy to work with. I would use him again.”
