About: I’ve grown up taking care of many different animals from baby deer to chickens. I’ve had many different breeds of dogs from an Akita to Great Pyrenees. Currently I have a male cat. I’m pretty flexible in my schedule and can visit during the week( I do have a child I have to pick up in the afternoon.) I can walk and play with dog or cat. As well as check the food & water. I’m pretty flexible with whatever may be needed for care.
About: I started house sitting in high school and am highly adaptable to each animal and owner needs. I grew up with a dog, used to live with two beautiful german shepherds for 3 years, and have two adventure cats, Swoop and Riley, that live with me on the road in my camper van. I love animals. I’ve raised chickens and ducks, have plenty of experience with pet injuries and medication, walking large strong dogs, and take my cats out to explore the world. I am a huge hiker so if you would love for me to burn some energy out of your fur baby, I’m your girl but I’m also here for all the pet cuddles. I live in a van and travel the country but I want to be in the area for the next couple months to be near my family. I have plenty of experience house sitting and can provide references as well. About: Hello! I’m a local dental hygienist that will treat your pet as if it’s my own. I am a healthy balance of being active and outdoorsy as well as a homebody, so I am able to adjust my daily routine to meet your pet’s needs/wants! I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! I work Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 to 5 and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 3. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, day care and overnight stays any times that do not fall within those timeframes. About: Ive had dogs all my life and I've cared for pets of all shapes and sizes and ages. My dog Jax is a testament to the quality of love and care I provide. I am currently unemployed so pet care and personal health are my top priorities. I try to do at least one dog related activity daily. About: I’ve always had pets and been around animals since I was young. Since moving to Tahoe I watch animals on a weekly basis, and enjoy every minute! I work remotely and I am able to watch dogs throughout the day. The remote job also allows be to travel and be more attentive to the pets. I am very big on attention and activity. About: Although I don’t have pets of my own, over the past several years I’ve had the chance to care for a wide variety of dogs of all ages and sizes. I live down the street from some dog friendly hiking trails and my backyard is quite large so the energetic pups are always happy. I am accommodating and love the experiences I have meeting each new pet. A highlight was fostering and finding homes for 5 kittens in 2022! About: I've had pets ever since I was a kid, but my current place doesn't allow pets and life almost feels incomplete! I would love to take your pet on an adventure or provide in-home care :) All of my dogs have been hiking dogs and I am a big hiker myself, so I can also take more active/energetic dogs on hikes if needed! I am usually available all day on Mondays, in the evenings Tues-Thurs, and it varies on Fridays and Saturdays. I raised my pup since 11 weeks and I follow the AbsoluteDogs training methodology which has shaped Nori to be the adventure dog of our dreams! ❤️ I work part-time remotely, so am available most of the day to care for dogs. I have a pen for separating my pup away from yours if necessary, and any client’s dog will be walked on leash unless specifically requested by the client. While I do not have a fenced yard, I am located less than 10 minutes from Kiva Beach and am happy to take dogs there for additional outdoor time.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
