“Michael did a great job with a drop in visit this time. The pups were ecstatic to see him. He he took them out and also played ball with them for a while in the backyard. I can always be confident that during my longer business days that our dogs are happy and well cared for.”

“She took care of feeding our guinea pigs while we were traveling. She was very kind and sent us photos every day, and we really appreciated it. If we’re ever away again, we would love to ask for her help. Thank you so much, Danika! 😄✨”

“Stacy was great! We have a very shy dog who does not like many people. When Stacy was introduced to Bonnie she took to her immediatly which was a great relief to us. She visited Bonnie for dinner and breakfast and Bonnie came out and greeted her both times. Stacy also brought in a very heavy package which had been delived. Defiently will use Stacy again. Thanks”

“Absolutely amazing service! Will definitely use in the future! Sidney helped us out so much being new to the area and unforeseen difficult situations! No question she’s the best!”

About: I have had a dog since I was 7 years old, I always take my dog to the park nearby my house. I also have experience taking her on hikes where I am originally from in Wisconsin. I also have experience taking care of cats, and even baby raccoons too which are absolutely adorable! I am a TMCC men’s soccer player so you can definitely trust me to take your dog for a good workout walk. I absolutely love animals no matter the size or kind! I am also a current volunteer at the SPCA. I am currently a soccer player and student for TMCC so I normally have practice during the summer at 4:30 on Monday, Tuesdays, and Wednesday. But in season things become a little bit more complicated At my house here in Sparks it is not suitable to have your dog stay the day or night unless I have recieved the proper equipment to allow your dog to have a comfortable visit. But I can assure you I know how to take care of all types of animals. I am also a volunteer at the SPCA!
“Chase was punctual, professional, and my Bobby absolutely fell in love. Bobby got in his potty breaks, a couple of walks, and lots of snuggles. I would definitely utilize Chase again and we look forward to our next drop-in visits!”

“Monica was a wonderful help while I was away. My usually very timid and anxious cat warmed up to her immediately. She made sure he got all his medicine daily, played with him and went above and beyond to clean some cat throw up off my carpet one day. Highly recommend.”

About: Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm a Reno local, lifelong dog lover, caretaker, and proud dog mom to a 10-year-old Mini Dachshund and a 4-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd. Over the past 10+ years, I've cared for dogs for friends, family, and referrals from people who trusted me with their pets. Whether it's a quick drop-in visit, a neighborhood walk, or an energetic adventure, I treat every dog as if they were my own. People often tell me that dogs gravitate toward my calm, steady presence. At the same time, I love being playful, engaging, and making sure dogs have fun. You'll often find me taking dogs on long neighborhood walks, exploring local trails, or relaxing on the couch for some quality cuddle time after a good outing. I believe every dog learns best through positive experiences and small wins. Whether your dog is shy, anxious, reactive, energetic, young, or senior, I focus on building trust, creating a positive environment, and helping them feel safe and confident. A little about me: I work remotely as a Relationship Coach and Transaction Support Coordinator, which gives me flexibility during the day and allows me to provide dependable care and attention. I'm available during business hours as well as weekends, making it easy to fit walks and drop-in visits into your dog's routine. Joining Rover is a natural fit because it combines two things I genuinely enjoy: caring for others and getting outside for more walks. Caretaking has always been important to me. I spent years working as a nanny, and I bring that same level of responsibility, patience, and attentiveness to every animal I care for. I'm comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, large breeds, administering medication, and adapting to your dog's unique needs and routine. After each walk or visit, I'll send photos, videos, and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is happy, safe, and well cared for. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, communicative, and genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs, I'd love to meet you and your furry family member! I work remotely and part-time. Pet care is the perfect compliment to my flexible work schedule. I sit at the computer for most of the day and would love nothing more than an excuse to get more steps in. I'm a firm believer that your dog, your rules. Every dog has their own routine, boundaries, and needs, and I take those seriously. Whether that's sticking to a feeding schedule, reinforcing training, administering medication, or accommodating behavioral or health concerns, I'll follow your instructions carefully. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable and keep their routine as consistent as possible while you're away.
About: I have dogsat for my neighbors growing up, have taken care of my own dogs while my parents were out of town, along with feeding, sitting, and taking my friends’ dogs out for frequent walks when needed. I've administered medication for dogs (pills for managing epilepsy) as well as shots for cats. I've learned to love all animals that come into my care, similar to how my mom and grandmother have operated. It would be a pleasure and privilege to bring my caretaking genes to your furry family! I also take care of birds. Let me hang out with your feathery friends! I live and work at home in Miami during the winter and spring-ish seasons and live and work across the western US for the summer and fall. My schedule is fairly flexible throughout the week until April/May when seasonal work switches my schedule to working one week on, one week off. I have lived with many animals in my lifetime, made mistakes and learned greatly from them, and fully prioritize love and safety to your animals. The beauty of living in Florida in the wintertime and the West in the summer is that taking dogs on walks in the sunshine is never a chore!

About: Even though I currently do not own any pets, i’ve had many family pets since I was born. I’ve taken care of many dogs, including Maltese-Poodle mixes and Dachshunds. I also adore cats. I’m overall very clean when it comes to pet care and friendly with any pet. I carry good intentions when caring for your pet and advocate for animal welfare. I have a full time job Monday-Friday but am available in the early mornings or evenings for pet care such as walks or visits on weekdays. I am available on the weekends anytime, with at least a day notice for any services. I can handle small and medium dogs well, specifically for caging or fencing. About: I love all the fur babies! I have experience with Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Birds, and Fresh/Saltwater Fish! Please see below for addition information! For dogs: I love doggies! I have two dogs of my own who need constant love and attention. I love playtime and taking them for walks! I’ll be happy to walk the doggies and give them some needed exercise when your schedule becomes busy! For cats: I have a deep love for cats. I have had many cats in my care since I was young. Typically multiple cats at one time! I have experience with kittens from birth - all the way to their end of life. During this time I have become very experienced in providing medication, grooming, end of life care (cleaning those accidents they can’t control) and providing all the love they need! Lovable cats and skittish cats - I love both, so I’ll be happy to check in on them, clean their litter boxes, and make sure they have everything they need while you’re away! Other animals: Please reach out for any additional pet inquiries! I also have experience with other animals including fish, rabbits and birds! I currently work full time, however I have flexibility in my schedule, specifically on weekday afternoons, and available all day on weekends to help with your pets. I will follow all requests for the safety of your pet.

“Joshua did so amazing! Watched my dog on short notice and went above and beyond. I’ll be using Joshua’s services on the regular now and if you need a pet sitter that you can trust, this is the guy.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting dogs and cats for the past 10 years and have experience caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. Having dogs and cats of my own has given me a strong understanding of how important it is for pets to feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, giving lots of attention, and making sure pets keep their usual routine so they feel at home. I am currently working part time and will be sure to provide my availability, so that together we can be sure your pet is given the best possible care. I will ensure your pet is well cared for while you're away, providing them with plenty of attention and care. They are family afterall.

About: I had an internship with a veterinarian clinic where I learned so much about the necessary care for pets. I've even done harder tasks such as take their temperature, listen to their heartbeats, and much more. I dog sit at home for colleagues and family whenever I can because they always come to me for help. I work from home so I'm pretty available all day to keep a pet company. I can come over to the client's house to walk the dogs, feed them, or even stay the night if need be. I am very active, playful, and love to cuddle with pets. I enjoy taking dogs on walks/runs or being a couch potato with them as we watch movies.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sparks
Shelly is amazing, really did an Amazing job. She did everything we asked of her and was truly concerned for our animals. We were worried about leaving our 17 yr old senior dog, but she took extra care. She sent pictures of our babies and checked in everyday with updates. This was our first time using a sitter, and it went perfectly.

Sherina is amazing! I’ve booked her twice now, and after the first time, I knew my puppy was in great hands. He was happy and well cared for, so I had nothing to worry about during my trip. She was always on schedule and even went out of her way to take him on extra walks. She’ll definitely be my first choice going forward. Thank you, Sherina!

Rebekkah did an excellent job checking in on our pups while we were out of town. She gave updates every check in and she was even kind enough to come by multiple times before we left to meet the pups to make sure everyone was comfortable before we left. We would definitely book with her again!

Ezra has been SO good with my Kiya! He goes above and beyond to make sure that she is comfortable, and is very intelligent about how to handle dogs with love and affection. He truly cares for animals and it is important to him that they are treated properly. It seems to be a passion of his to make sure that the pups are cared for in the best possible way for them. Kiya has never really been a puppy who attaches herself to men, but she is so comfortable with Ezra! He is like a puppy whisperer! I highly recommend him!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
