“Katelin has been so good with my cat Citrus who has been dealing with an eczema flare up—so taking on his twice a day oral medications in addition to my two cats regularly feeding regimen. I couldn’t ask for a better person to negotiate my cats’ evolving needs while I’m out of town.”

“Michael did a great job with a drop in visit this time. The pups were ecstatic to see him. He he took them out and also played ball with them for a while in the backyard. I can always be confident that during my longer business days that our dogs are happy and well cared for.”

“Phenomenal job! Sidney has impressed me with her professionalism and care- and my pets adore her. One of my cats can be a little skittish, but he loves Sidney. I was out of town for an extended time and she took great care to make sure I came back to healthy cats! ?”
“Monica was a wonderful help while I was away. My usually very timid and anxious cat warmed up to her immediately. She made sure he got all his medicine daily, played with him and went above and beyond to clean some cat throw up off my carpet one day. Highly recommend.”

About: I treat every pet like family, giving them the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I’m experienced with both energetic puppies and sweet senior pets—patient with training needs and gentle with older dogs who need extra TLC. I’m always tuned in to each pet’s personality and comfort, whether that means long walks, belly rubs, or quiet company. Safety, consistency, and connection are my top priorities. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and make them a priority in my schedule. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I plan my day around their needs. I’m reliable, flexible, and always happy to give pets the time and attention they deserve. Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I truly love doing. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, their safety and comfort always come first. I keep a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where they feel secure and relaxed. I follow all routines closely—feeding schedules, walks, meds, and favorite toys—so pets feel right at home. I also give regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I respect your space, your rules, and your pet’s unique needs, treating them like part of the family.

“Catherine was awesome! She went above and beyond for my elderly cat with high medical needs and was very responsive. I felt very comfortable having her look after my cat”

About: I have grown up with pets ever since I was a toddler, and have dedicated much time to learning how to care for animals. Besides having my own, I have pet sit for friends/family before, but would like to create more of a career out of it(hence why I’m on Rover!) I look forward to providing my best work and quality care for all dogs and cats! I am currently a college student so my availability will vary, but I will be available for most of the time, as my classes only take a couple hours a day! I have an apartment with plenty of open and safe places to walk during the day, and a completely safe apartment where I can keep close watch of your pets. I also live with my kitty who grew up with a dog!

About: Even though I currently do not own any pets, i’ve had many family pets since I was born. I’ve taken care of many dogs, including Maltese-Poodle mixes and Dachshunds. I also adore cats. I am available on the weekends anytime, with at least a day notice for any services. I can handle small and medium dogs well, specifically for caging or fencing. I also am physically active for dog walks and restraints if needed.
About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals for as long as I could remember. Dogs being the most common to clean up after, feed, walk and everything in between. I’m currently a college student going to UNLV from Monday- Thursday at all various times. But when I’m not at school I’m always happy to watch your fur babies! I care for all pets differently depending on what each one needs. I’ve experience in giving medication on time and treat each dog as if they were my own. My home has a nice backyard to play no dogs currently but each dog has my full love and attention.

About: I have dogsat for my neighbors growing up, have taken care of my own dogs while my parents were out of town, along with feeding, sitting, and taking my friends’ dogs out for frequent walks when needed. I've administered medication for dogs (pills for managing epilepsy) as well as shots for cats. I've learned to love all animals that come into my care, similar to how my mom and grandmother have operated. It would be a pleasure and privilege to bring my caretaking genes to your furry family! I also take care of birds. Let me hang out with your feathery friends! I live and work at home in Miami during the winter and spring-ish seasons and live and work across the western US for the summer and fall. My schedule is fairly flexible throughout the week until April/May when seasonal work switches my schedule to working one week on, one week off. I have lived with many animals in my lifetime, made mistakes and learned greatly from them, and fully prioritize love and safety to your animals. The beauty of living in Florida in the wintertime and the West in the summer is that taking dogs on walks in the sunshine is never a chore!

Sherina is amazing! I’ve booked her twice now, and after the first time, I knew my puppy was in great hands. He was happy and well cared for, so I had nothing to worry about during my trip. She was always on schedule and even went out of her way to take him on extra walks. She’ll definitely be my first choice going forward. Thank you, Sherina!

Rebekkah did an excellent job checking in on our pups while we were out of town. She gave updates every check in and she was even kind enough to come by multiple times before we left to meet the pups to make sure everyone was comfortable before we left. We would definitely book with her again!

Ezra has been SO good with my Kiya! He goes above and beyond to make sure that she is comfortable, and is very intelligent about how to handle dogs with love and affection. He truly cares for animals and it is important to him that they are treated properly. It seems to be a passion of his to make sure that the pups are cared for in the best possible way for them. Kiya has never really been a puppy who attaches herself to men, but she is so comfortable with Ezra! He is like a puppy whisperer! I highly recommend him!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Sparks with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
