She has an almost 2-year-old son so is already equipped with baby gates in her house to keep pets safe from getting into unwanted areas. She has an incredible way with animals. “There are so many wonderful things to say about Ruby! She was very possibly the best TrustedHouse Sitter I have ever had the pleasure of working with. From the very beginning, Ruby was communicative, responsive, professional, intentional, thorough, and thoughtful. Her profile was detailed and she came a few days before the sit to review the responsibilities and home routine. She asked excellent questions and it was obvious she took this role seriously and with the greatest professionalism. She took care of our five fur babies - two dogs and three cats. They all seemed to adore her! She took our dogs on daily walks and even on a few fun outings! She also sent us pictures of our fur babies while we were away which really helped ease our minds and hearts as we missed them so much. Our home was clean and tidy when we returned home - she had vacuumed floors and washed all linens. She brought in mail and took great care of our space. In addition, she picked up all dog poop in the backyard which was truly above and beyond as we had not expected her to do that. I would highly recommend Ruby as a pet/home sitter if the opportunity ever arises! She was everything I could ever ask for in a pet/home sitter.She is welcome back to our home any time. About: I have been house/pet sitting and dog walking for family, friends, and profession for 10+ years. I absolutely love caring for animals. I have worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Previous experience includes 4 years of daycare/boarding, 1 year at a board and train facility, 1 year at an animal hospital, and many years of caring for family and friends pets. I'm familiar and comfortable with a lot of tools (e-collar, prong collar, perimeter collar, etc) and training methods. I can work with puppies during potty training and crate training (you must provide crate). I can also care for senior dogs and administer medications. I only work part-time and spend most of my time outside of work with my dogs. We do a lot of fun activities both in the home and outside. There is a park that is close enough to walk to and we enjoy spending time there when we can. Safety is very important to me. Making sure all doors are secured is #1. Baby gates are used as a secondary barrier at the front door and throughout the home. The pet is monitored at all times while outside and in home. I keep a first aid kit with me for walks and have emergency vet numbers and addresses saved in my phone in case an emergency situation occurs.
