How I Care for Pets in Your Home I stop by and check in on your dog while you’re away for the day or weekend, so they can stay comfortable in their own home. During each visit, I make sure they have fresh water, are fed as you prefer, and get a potty break, attention, and some companionship. I like to take a little extra time with each dog—whether that’s a bit of play, a short walk, or just sitting with them so they feel relaxed and not alone. I keep my service area within about a 10-minute drive so I can be dependable and on time for every visit. As I get more established, I may also offer overnight stays for small dogs down the road. I treat every dog like they’re my own, because I know how much they mean to you.

About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for pets, including senior dogs who need extra patience, attention, and gentle care. I understand that every pet is unique and deserves love, respect, and personalized care. I can provide walks, playtime, feeding, basic medications, and lots of affection. I work tuesday through saturday normally, but in slow season I work since Wednesday to Saturday...I have availability before and after work, as well as on Sundays and Mondays. About: I have taken care of dogs for neighbors, doctors, hospital CEOs, friends and family ever since I was 10. All types of dogs and requests and breeds. I’m at home unless I’m running to the grocery store or doing an extracurricular activity. I can be here for your fur babies when you have to be away. 😻 I have a 6ft fenced yard. I have the ability to separate my yard into 6 different areas at nearly half an acre. I have multiple kennels and some with tops and grooming and bathing equipment. In home day care is heavily screened. Your dog will not have access to the inside of my home, kids, or my pets. Large outdoor area and garage kennels will be fully accessible. Kennels are cleaned with vet rescue which kills parvo. Fresh water in kennels and outside. All are properly sanitized. Health and safety is top priority for everyone. Puppies not fully vaccinated will be in a separate area. Walks, my children will be attending if dogs are child friendly.

About: I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals. I watch a number of my friend's dogs, and each has a unique and special routine and they have all come to trust me a look forward to visiting. I stay a bit at some of my friend's houses if they want me to help with house watch, plants, delivery receipt and other home needs while they are traveling and away on extended trips.

About: I helped my mom take care of 4 boxers growing up which we bought as puppies. I love taking care and watching my friend’s pets. I am also an experienced RN just taking a break from nursing. I live down the street from some dog friendly hiking trails and my backyard is quite large so the energetic pups are always happy.
