About: I have taken care of dogs for neighbors, doctors, hospital CEOs, friends and family ever since I was 10. All types of dogs and requests and breeds. I’m at home unless I’m running to the grocery store or doing an extracurricular activity. I can be here for your fur babies when you have to be away. 😻 I have a 6ft fenced yard. I have the ability to separate my yard into 6 different areas at nearly half an acre. I have multiple kennels and some with tops and grooming and bathing equipment. In home day care is heavily screened. Your dog will not have access to the inside of my home, kids, or my pets. Large outdoor area and garage kennels will be fully accessible. Kennels are cleaned with vet rescue which kills parvo. Fresh water in kennels and outside. All are properly sanitized. Health and safety is top priority for everyone. Puppies not fully vaccinated will be in a separate area. Walks, my children will be attending if dogs are child friendly.

About: I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals. I watch a number of my friend's dogs, and each has a unique and special routine and they have all come to trust me a look forward to visiting. I stay a bit at some of my friend's houses if they want me to help with house watch, plants, delivery receipt and other home needs while they are traveling and away on extended trips.

About: I am an upcoming veterinarian, so to say I have a passion for animal care is an understatement. I have had animals since I was a young girl and have always wanted to be very involved with their care. I have worked in the veterinary field for about 4 years, caring for animals from the most critical conditions to puppies who just need their first nail trims. There are a lot of sitters out there, but I can say without a doubt that I can give some of the best pet care available. I offer medication administration and can keep up with responsibilities like physical therapy, grooming, cleaning, etc. Additionally, the funds I receive here will go directly into my college account to pay for my current classes! Supporting me is supporting a future veterinarian. I work long hours in the middle of the day during the week. Which means post work, cool evenings are the best time for me to get out and exercise. For me, mornings look like providing moisture to my reptiles, feeding my cat, and playing with my border collie. Afternoons, I have a one hour lunch break. Meaning I can check on my pets, or other pets that are nearby. Evenings are my time. I’ll usually exercise and play until the sun goes down before playing video games with my friends or studying. Regarding walks, I have experience with canine behavior and high level obedience dog training. I have worked with aggressive, outgoing, and shy dogs in a way that makes them feel comfortable exploring the world around them. I’m very open minded if you have specific ways you’d like your pet handled, too! And, of course, I will never miss a poop cleanup. Regarding in home sitting, I can provide a wide variety of services. Shy kitties, nervous dogs, reptiles, amphibians, and livestock- nothing is too big of a job. But I’m not afraid to ask questions if I don’t understand how to best take care of your babies. A typically drop in visit consists of food/water, any cleanup service needed, safety checks, and outside/playtime if needed!

“My Bleu had a very relaxing time w Gina and her other dogs. It was the first time I left Bleu with anyone other than my exwife. I was more anxious than Bleu. Gina kept me posted w pictures of Bleu laying beside the fence that surrounded her front yard. It was a fence in solid repair and not something that Bleu could have escaped from. She would constantly keep in contact and send photos. He was not eating so she was trying all new things in his food and instead of his food to get him to eat which was so sweet and wonderful of her. She would give him baths which I did not ask for but was so appreciated. I could tell that she absolutely loved him as we do. Simply outstanding and highly recommended. About: I’ve had pets my entire life and each one has meant the world to me. I promise to give that same love and care to your pets! I work from home, so I am pretty available and flexible. I’m happy to do daily walks and open to a repeating schedule, or just a one time event! I am very easy going when house sitting. A detailed note is all I need, and you can expect to receive plenty of photos of your pet(s). I have two cats in my home that are used to having dogs around! We can discuss boarding in my home if needed.
