She was super available, flexible and communicative, and we loved that she has vet tech experience so knew he was in good hands in the case that anything were to happen. “Katie and I used to work together at a canine rehab facility. I've seen her interact with many dogs and she is very intuitive. She has a way of connecting with them and putting them at ease when they are in her care. Working in the veterinary field there are only a handful of people I trust to take care of my fur babies. There is no one I trust more than her. One of my dogs is paralyzed in his hind legs and requires to be walked in his wheelchair. Since the majority of the dogs we worked with were special needs dogs, Katie is very familiar with his wheelchair. She is attentive to his needs and she goes above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable. Each of my dogs have different personalities and she has a unique bond with of each of them. They always enjoyed their one on one time with her. If you are looking for someone who's going to take care of your fur baby as if they were her own, then Katie is your person.”

“Sarah is my daughter's best friend. They have known each other since high school, nearly 19 years. Sarah has spent time in our home and over the years I have come to know her well and love her. She is the only person outside of our immediate family who knows where the extra front door key is and is welcome to use it any time she is in our neighborhood. Sarah has always had a dog, so have we and she is a great pet parent. Sarah is a nurse, and as is typical of nurses, is kind, compassionate, responsible, thoughtful but firm. I would not hesitate to ask her to take care of our dog or home for any length of time. Sarah would be a great addition to your portfolio of caregivers.”

“Cleo was such a big help for me on a vacation trip that went all sorts of wonky. She was able to step in last minute when our family friend dropped out of house/cat sitting for us while we were away. Then our travels got wrapped up in the mass Southwest Airlines cancellations and Cleo was able to work with us on that as well! (we ended up leaving 2 days later than expected and coming back a day later than anticipated). Cleo is quick to respond to messages and the pictures and updates she sent of our cats kept me at ease that they were being cared for. Also the pictures in general were just super funny sometimes and I really loved that. Cleo was my first experience using Rover and I was super nervous at first to be giving a stranger access to my home but she is professional, great to work with, and I would book with her again in a heartbeat!”

“This was our first time using Rover. Vanessa made it a delightful and seamless experience. She dropped in on our shy floof cat, Lorenzo Fettuccine Alfredo, for a couple days. He was hiding under the bed the first day but she sat and talked to him to keep him company. By the third day he was coming out and interacting with her. She sent plenty of pics and videos for us to swoon over. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking Vanessa next time we travel!”

About: I love animals, and have taken care of friend’s and relative’s pets (both dogs and cats), since high school (over 10 years). My daughter and I would love nothing more than to have our own dog, but we aren’t allowed to where we live. Alas, this means your pet will get all of my attention and love. You can think of me as your furbaby’s fun aunt😄 I am flexible around your schedule😄 I work full time in an office, but am free on my lunch breaks for check ins, and after 5 for longer visits Monday-Friday. I am off for on weekends😁 I adhere to your instructions when taking care of your pet and/or your home! You can expect a person willing to go above and beyond for your pet. Like I’ve mentioned, I love animals and am grateful to be considered when taking care of your furbabies. 🐶🐱🐰
