Cat Sitting in Virginia City

About: I've had animals my entire life and was raised with the concept of pets are family and they get taken care of just the same. I currently have one dog that I take on daily hikes around the Carson City area. I have experience with older pets and understand that any age group of pets takes a lot of patience and flexibility. I'm currently a stay at home Mom that has lots of time in the day to take care of your pets daily needs. I am available most weekends and weekdays. I have a 1 acre fenced in property, 2 active kids and 1 dog. I can provide crating if thats what your dog is most comfortable with. Our home has a doggy door for your dog to access inside or outside when they desire. This is something that can be closed if needed. I can provide checking on you pets at your own home and am willing to follow strict instructions.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals as long as I can remember. I've always adored animals and often volunteer at shelters or vet offices in my free-time. I've learned how to administer medication in various ways as well as how to treat minor injuries (such as a torn nail or sprained paw). Trimming claws and nails, cleaning ears, cleaning up enclosures, managing dietary needs, were all things that I've done in my work at animal shelters. No job too gross or menial!! I have experience training service dogs. Specifically service dogs for Veterans with PTSD. The dogs would live with me for the duration and undergo constant training both in the house and in public spaces. This involved clicker training and lots of positive reinforcement. Once they passed their training, they would go on to live with a Veteran, and be their constant companion, someone to watch their back and help them manage their PTSD. I am currently unemployed. I have a senior cat and a dog recovering from a leg injury that requires a bit more attention. I'm looking to make Rover into a more full-time job, so my schedule is currently wide open. I'm very attentive to any animal in my care. I understand that each animal is unique and different in their own way. Does your dog only eat if someone is sitting with him? Well, mine does too! Does your cat need to be held and carried around before going to sleep? No problem! Regardless of what service you've booked, I will always ask for what preferences you and your pets have and how I can better care for them in your absence, or alleviate any anxiety or concerns you may have. I can provide constant updates and pictures at your request. I will treat your pets as if they were my own.

About: Healthcare worker by day, pet sitter… also by day. I’ve worked with animals since I was 15, pet sitting and volunteering at cat shelters. I love spending time with them and taking some stress off owners while they’re away. I can also take care of plants, reptiles, etc. I’m available Monday-Friday after 5 pm and weekends any time! I only do overnight house sitting on weekends as well, but I can make exceptions for emergencies! The animal/owner preference always comes first! About: I’ve taken care of my dog all her life! From puppy to senior care, I’ve adapted to whatever needs my dog has needed. I’ve also volunteered at the SPCA, taking care of a variety of different dogs. I’m currently going full-time to medical school, but my schedule has opened up a bit. My schedule changes monthly depending on what clinical rotation I’m in, but when I’m free I am more than happy to take care of your pet! My dog roams freely around my house. She is properly potty trained and mostly sticks to the living room (where her bed and food are).

About: I have hands on experience working at a doggy daycare, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. In addition to dogs, I have experience handling and caring for cats and small animals, including rodents. Pet care is an important and fulfilling part of my weekly routine. I work a job, so I’m fully available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. If there is a change, I will notify you. On the other days, I can provide care between the hours of 7- 10 PM. I make sure to plan my schedule carefully, so both of our schedules align and so I can give pets the time, attention, and consistency they need. When caring for pets in their own home, I make it a priority to keep them comfortable by following their usual routine... feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and more. I give them as much love and affection as I would my own, always aiming to keep their tails wagging, etc. I treat every home with respect and make sure it stays secure and clean. I also send regular updates and photos to the owners so they can feel at ease, knowing their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: My dog and I have recently moved to Reno from South Lake Tahoe. I work remotely and Rover has been a great way to find her new furry friends. Looking to spread the love to other pups for anyone who needs help letting them out at lunch while you’re at work or for overnight care. I work from home and get outside pretty often during the day. My dog is very spoiled in adventure and loves having a companion to join us on walks and even at home. I have been a sitter on Rover for over 4 years and shadow has been known to be my partner in making any pup I watch comfortable and entertained. My pup is very well trained and socialized. We look forward to meeting you and your furry babies! Can do walks or drop ins at lunch and any service over the weekends. I also do holidays if pet care is needed on vacation. I usually meet a client before our stay and follow whatever directions they want me to follow. Some clients allow shadow to stay with us if they get along (she gets along with all animals). If staying at my place, we have a big dirt lot on a quiet street for them to run around in.
