Whitney clearly enjoys being with animals. Our initial meeting was easy in conversation, and I feel my pup, Ellie, is in good hands for her walks with Whitney. I am thankful I found Whitney through River!

About: Animals bring me peace and joy and I just can't help but want to be around them to support them. I have raised dogs and other animals throughout my life. I have had cats, fish, hamsters, and even hermit crabs. Animals are always full of life and hope. I have two dogs now. A mother and daughter. It really shows me how deep animals can feel. I love them. Pet sitting is my priority. I spend 24/7 at home unless I am at the park or running errands. I can devote ample time to pet care. I have a fenced yard and two small dogs. They go for walks, trips to the park, as well as off road fun. Like hiking, kayaking, and trail walks.

About: I have always grown up with pets (dogs, cats, birds, fish…even a reptile or two!) I adopted my pup, Hurley, nearly 15 years ago and it has been one of my joys to have her in my life. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages, helping you practice any training you might be working on with your pooch, dispensing medications and other care needs, as well as keeping your furry friend safe if they have any anxieties or other difficult behaviors. While I am not a trainer, I have kept up regular formal, positive reinforcement training with my dog and we’ve also taken lots of fun classes like agility and nose training—meaning I know lots of fun games to keep your pup engaged during my visit. I also have experience caring for ducks and chickens, small reptiles and birds. I am a freelance consultant so my days tend to be pretty flexible. I am generally available throughout the day to care for your pooch. I am an attentive care-giver. I will follow all instructions, ensure your dog is safe in its environment—whether we are walking or playing. I have experience with dogs with medical or other special needs and will always ask about your preferences for care.

About: I have taken care of my dog since he was a puppy and my brothers do for about 4 years. I also work at a doggy day care and am around all sorts of dogs and understand body language. I work mostly on the weekends. I am most available to spend the most time with your pet during the week. I have school but no more than 2 hours a day. I provide attentive and reliable pet care either in my home or in the client’s home, depending on their preference. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for by giving them plenty of attention and maintaining a clean environment. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything tidy, and ensure the pet experiences minimal disruption to their normal routine. I am also comfortable administering medications if needed and monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner.

With a life-long passion for our best friends, I offer reliable dog walking and in-home sitting services tailored to your dog's needs and your schedule. Whether your best friend needs a brisk 30- or 60-minute walk to burn energy, midday potty breaks while you're at work, or cozy overnight stays in a calm home environment, I'm here to provide attentive, loving care. I specialize in: Daily dog walking (solo or small groups for compatible pups) Drop-in visits Overnight sitting/boarding in my pet-friendly home (dependent on dog's needs and size) Safety and happiness come first—I follow best practices for leashed walks, hydration, playtime, and lots of belly rubs and cuddles. I'm background-checked and always send photo updates so you never miss a moment. I normally cook for my friends dogs, so if you prefer specific home-cooked, dog-digestible meals, I am happy to provide that. I own a two-story home, with a secure fenced yard, a nearby park, and miles of paved walking trails. I'm available most days, including holidays, weekends and evenings. Flexible with last-minute requests when possible! I'd love to meet you and your dog—message me to set up a Meet & Greet. Let's make sure your pup stays happy, exercised, and spoiled while you're away! I currently work out of the house all day, 5-6 days a week, so I will be with your pet all day in your home or mine while you're away for a business trip, vacation, or if you simply need someone to pop in and check on your pup or do daily walks. I have a large fenced yard adjacent to numerous walking trails. Depending on your pups needs, I can provide in-home house/dog sitting. I promise to treat your pet as if they were my own, which means they will be given lots of affection and attention. I am a daily walker, so your pup will have a daily adventure just steps from my backyard or yours.

About: What sets me apart is the level of attention and care I provide. I keep a calm, clean home and limit the number of pets I board at one time so each pet gets plenty of individual attention. I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine, providing a low-stress environment, and keeping you updated with daily photos and check-ins. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — not just watched. Because I work from home full time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship while you’re away. Plenty of outside time and cuddle time! When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I maintain a clean, calm environment and limit the number of pets I care for at one time so each animal receives plenty of attention. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining consistency and comfort. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding routines, walks, medications if needed, and any household preferences. About: I'm a dog lover who's been caring for dogs since I was 10. My first boxer was with me from when she was a puppy, and I handled everything—walks, feeding, playtime, baths, and even taking care of her paws when she got cuts. We later adopted another boxer, and I gave her the same love and attention, including medical care when needed. I really enjoy taking dogs for walks and making sure they’re happy and well-cared for. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, I’d love to help. I work full-time, but during my spare time, I would love to care for your dog. I’m available on weekdays after 6 PM, and I have flexible availability on weekends. I'll take care of your pet in your home, following your instructions to make sure they're comfortable. I’ll keep things clean, respect your space, and keep you updated.

About: I have hands on experience working at a doggy daycare, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. In addition to dogs, I have experience handling and caring for cats and small animals, including rodents. Pet care is an important and fulfilling part of my weekly routine. I work a job, so I’m fully available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. If there is a change, I will notify you. On the other days, I can provide care between the hours of 7- 10 PM. I make sure to plan my schedule carefully, so both of our schedules align and so I can give pets the time, attention, and consistency they need. When caring for pets in their own home, I make it a priority to keep them comfortable by following their usual routine... feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and more. I give them as much love and affection as I would my own, always aiming to keep their tails wagging, etc. I treat every home with respect and make sure it stays secure and clean. I also send regular updates and photos to the owners so they can feel at ease, knowing their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: Hi, I'm Shaylin. I'm a recent grad in the USC area with a flexible schedule and genuine love for dogs — I've pet sat through Rover before and I'm back on the platform for dog walking through mid-May. I'll show up on time, send you photos and updates, and treat your dog like I'd want mine treated — patient on leash, attentive, and happy to match their pace whether that's a sniff-walk or a real workout. I'm traveling internationally starting May 18, so I'm best for clients who need walks in the next few weeks or who are open to a great walker for a defined window. If that works for you, I'd love to meet your pup. I am available to house sit and am happy to stay in your home at night if that makes your animal the most comfortable. I can drop in or go out for a walk throughout the day -- very flexible schedule. I would love to meet you and your animal before the stay if I am house sitting, or dropping in. I am happy to meet your pet the day of for walks. I understand that every animal and home is unique - I would love to be acquainted with your preferences.

About: My girlfriend Leah and I have had a dog in our life every year until now. Leah grew up with cats and her family dog named Murphy who she loved. We are passionate about walking pups. I feel every dog should get at least an hour of activity outside everyday. Also I am a strong person who is able to keep your animal safe from any dangerous situation that may be happening near by. With me you will know your pet is safe because I make the pets safety my highest priority. We are the best deal on the app because you get two people for the price of one You get two for one. I work remotely full time. This means I work 6am - 2:30pm Monday- Friday. But since I am fully remote if you were in need of a house sitter I would be able to take the dog out during working hours because my job is pretty laid back. The weekends I am 100% free. In addition to this I have my GF Leah, who is a full time student who is always available to help out. This is the first year of my life where I do not have a dog living with me. But when I did I would be checking on the dog all the time. Making sure they have water and I let them out to go to the bathroom or take them on short walks during the day. After work is when i will usually take my pet on an hour walk or go to a park or some where to play. In addition to me there is my girlfriend Leah who is a full time remote student right now. She is always available to help out and is super responsible and helpful.
