About: I have always grown up with pets (dogs, cats, birds, fish…even a reptile or two!) I adopted my pup, Hurley, nearly 15 years ago and it has been one of my joys to have her in my life. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages, helping you practice any training you might be working on with your pooch, dispensing medications and other care needs, as well as keeping your furry friend safe if they have any anxieties or other difficult behaviors. While I am not a trainer, I have kept up regular formal, positive reinforcement training with my dog and we’ve also taken lots of fun classes like agility and nose training—meaning I know lots of fun games to keep your pup engaged during my visit. I also have experience caring for ducks and chickens, small reptiles and birds. I am a freelance consultant so my days tend to be pretty flexible. I am generally available throughout the day to care for your pooch. I am an attentive care-giver. I will follow all instructions, ensure your dog is safe in its environment—whether we are walking or playing. I have experience with dogs with medical or other special needs and will always ask about your preferences for care.

About: Worked closely with dogs and cats in a general practice veterinary clinic, developing a strong understanding of animal behavior, body language, and overall welfare. Gained experience recognizing signs of good health as well as changes in behavior or condition that may indicate illness or stress. Prioritized providing calm, compassionate care while ensuring each animal's safety and comfort, building confidence in handling pets with a variety of personalities and needs. I work full-time from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On those days, I'm available for check-ins or potty breaks before 7am or after 5:30pm, resulting in 8+ hours. On Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, I have a much more flexible schedule and can provide drop-in visits, potty breaks, walks, or playtime every couple of hours as needed. I'm committed to making sure each pet receives reliable care, attention, and plenty of love while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I take extra care to prevent escapes by being mindful around doors, gates, and leashes, and I always pay close attention to each pet's body language to help them feel comfortable and reduce fear or stress. I understand that every animal has a different personality, and I'm happy to work at their pace to build trust. For everyone's safety, I do not offer boarding in my home or bring my own pets to client homes, as I have a reactive dog and cats of my own. This allows me to give your pet my full attention in the environment where they are most comfortable.

About: I work from home, so dogs in my care are never left alone and always have company, attention, and love throughout the day. They get multiple walks, dog park time, a calm cozy environment, toys, music, and their own comfortable space to relax. They’re also welcome on the furniture and can sleep in bed if that’s what they’re used to. I truly see dogs as family members, not pets. I treat them the way I would treat my own child — with patience, affection, protection, and lots of care. I love having them near me while I work, and I make sure they feel safe, included, and deeply loved every moment they’re here. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home, so I’m around and available throughout the day. That means your pet gets more attention, regular potty breaks, and consistent companionship—not just a quick visit. On a typical day, I can plan morning, midday, and evening walks/potty breaks, plus playtime and feeding around my work schedule. I keep things structured but flexible, so I can match your pet’s routine (especially helpful for puppies, seniors, or pets that need extra check-ins). Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my priority is always the same: safety, routine, and a calm environment. I’m detail-oriented, I follow your instructions closely, and I keep you updated so you feel confident the whole time. In your home (drop-ins / house sitting): I stick to your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I do safety checks (doors/gates secured, leashes/harnesses fitted correctly, no access to unsafe items). I keep the space tidy and stress low—especially for pets who do best in their familiar environment. I send photo/video updates and notes after visits. In my home (boarding / daycare): Calm, supervised environment with plenty of attention since I work from home. Frequent potty breaks, exercise, and structured downtime. I keep pets separated when needed (feeding time, high energy, or if a dog prefers their own space). Only pet-safe areas are accessible—no unsafe foods, small objects, or risky spaces.
