About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 10 years old. Starting with walking my neighbors dog. Once I was able to drive I would do overnights with the families dog, that I nannied for. Small dogs, puppy dogs, big dogs, old dogs and kitty cats. Your little fur baby will be in great hands! I’m currently working full time. I can walk/ drop in Monday -Friday mornings at 7am and I’m available after work at 5:30pm for evening for walks/drop ins. The weekends are more flexible with time for walks and drop ins. “I don't think there are enough words to express how grateful I am for the care and support Young provided while watching my puppy. Saint is a large hunting breed - and a puppy - so he's full of energy and requires a ton of attention. Despite typically only watching smaller dogs, Young was kind enough to step in and help when I REALLY needed it (on move-in day... during a blizzard... on a Monday). That alone meant the world to me. Throughout the stay, he kept me updated with thoughtful messages and plenty of pictures - even if Saint made it nearly impossible to get a clear shot (darn puppy lol). Still, it was obvious that my dog was happy, safe, and well cared for. There's nothing more relieving than knowing that someone is putting genuine care into your loved one - especially for anxious moms like me! I really appreciate the empathy, flexibility, and patience shown - especially since not everyone would take on a situation like this. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares and goes the extra mile, I can't recommend Young enough. He even has a fun website where you can check in, view high-quality photos to download, and see all the cute pups who have been under his care. And if you're curious about his setup, he's got tons of yard space, an additional courtyard, SO MANY TOYS, and even more treats lol. I live in a house with a fenced backyard and a fenced small-breed dog park within walking distance. We go there every other day for playtime and sniff walks. Both Leonard and Taylor are friendly, gentle Shih Tzus who make great company for visiting small dogs. My home is clean, safe, and perfect for small breeds. On Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, I have a much more flexible schedule and can provide drop-in visits, potty breaks, walks, or playtime every couple of hours as needed. I'm committed to making sure each pet receives reliable care, attention, and plenty of love while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I take extra care to prevent escapes by being mindful around doors, gates, and leashes, and I always pay close attention to each pet's body language to help them feel comfortable and reduce fear or stress. I understand that every animal has a different personality, and I'm happy to work at their pace to build trust. For everyone's safety, I do not offer boarding in my home or bring my own pets to client homes, as I have a reactive dog and cats of my own. This allows me to give your pet my full attention in the environment where they are most comfortable.
