About: Hello, I'm Devin! I have extensive experience caring for a variety of pets, having lived with 5 dogs and 3 cats as well as other animals throughout my life. This has given me a strong understanding of their different needs, behaviors, and personalities. I've also lived with a puppy and understand how hard at times it can be to deal with them, but I also understand how fun and worth it, it is. I've also volunteered at SPCA for a summer camp where I learned how to take care of dogs and cats and be around more animals! Although pets are very important to me I must prioritize my classes, which end at the latest 2:30 pm, but after I can push aside anything else to make any cat or dog happy. I love to make a dog or cat feel happy and comfortable. I will happily play with any pet and go for walks until that dog or cat is tired, or I can just chill on the couch and relax because I know every animal, just like a human, needs some chill time too.

I’m so pleased I connected with Khine. I have two large dogs, one is high energy boy & one that’s less ambitious, as she has a few more years on her. When we met with Khine, both my dogs liked her and were almost immediately comfortable with her. She is reliable, punctual and is confident handling my dogs. (Handling 2 large dogs is not a small task) I also really appreciate the updates and photos she sends me after each visit. I believe Khine genuinely cares about my dogs and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Kat truly went above and beyond while caring for our girls over the weekend. Luna and Popis absolutely fell in love with her! She was punctual, respectful, and took the time to really understand our daily routines by asking thoughtful questions. We especially appreciated the daily photo updates while we were out of town—it gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pups were happy and well cared for. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she was always easy and pleasant to talk to. Kat was our first Rover pet sitter, and she exceeded all expectations. We would absolutely book her again, and our girls would be thrilled to see her!

About: Growing up in Texas my family has owned all sorts of dogs including: a poodle, a pit bull, a wolf dog, a black mouth cut, and a pug. I was taught dog care from a licensed wolf handler in Texas. I would frequently pet sit for family and friends. I work hybrid from home and as long as I’m given enough notice I’m happily available to be your dog’s new friend. Your home is yours and your dog’s safe space and I am happy to follow any rules and regulations that you and they follow.

About: I’ve been pet sitting dogs and cats for the past 10 years and have experience caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. Having dogs and cats of my own has given me a strong understanding of how important it is for pets to feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, giving lots of attention, and making sure pets keep their usual routine so they feel at home. I am currently working part time and will be sure to provide my availability, so that together we can be sure your pet is given the best possible care. I will ensure your pet is well cared for while you're away, providing them with plenty of attention and care. They are family afterall.

Sydney was an excellent pet sitter. She was very professional, organized and communicative throughout the 5 days she watched and walked my dog and cat. Sydney sent me information and pictures for each dog walk, keeping me up to date on my dog's sore paw and really gave me peace of mind knowing that a very caring responsible person was coming over twice a day to attend to my pets needs. I have been very impressed with Sydney and recommend her highly.

About: I've grown up with 2 puppers and a few cats with most recently 12 years with my cat and dog. I am looking to give your pets some good outdoor time or just drop in and make sure they're fed and watered if need be! I can give medications if needed as well and have a background in pharmacy. I work per diem with an irregular schedule. I usually have availability on weekdays and/or afternoons. Due to my schedule I do need at least 24 hour notice before any drop ins or walks! I am just finishing up an educational training job going onto a per diem position that will have plenty of weekdays open for drop ins, walks or other play activities. I will not have a space to pet sit in my home however I will be able to travel to care for your pets at your home or wherever and set it up for your pet's preference.

Eric did a great job caring for our dog, Dexter. He was very communicative, responsive, and provided daily updates that gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Dexter was well cared for, and I appreciated knowing how things were going each day. I cannot say enough good things about Andee! She began working with us during the chaotic process of moving both my parents into a senior living facility. She initially started walking my parents’ dog, Angus, every day, and has been open and flexible as her school and my parents’ schedule changed. Andee is extremely reliable and takes excellent care of Angus. Angus is always excited to see Andee when she's at the door! Andee also has excellent communication skills and is very easy to work with. I highly recommend Andee for all your dog walking needs!

  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
