I work from home and have a flexible schedule that allows me to step away to walk and care for the pets whenever necessary. My dogs get multiple walks or park time a day and yours will too. We’re active people so we love spending lots of time moving around outside.

The animals in my home are rarely alone and when they are left, they are put in a safe room for short periods of time. Our backyard is large and fenced in. We have gates up in the house to separate animals if needed. Our cat has multiple cat sized doors installed in the house that lets him get away from the dogs if needed.

I’d like to know if your dog is friendly with other dogs and humans. I also need to know how they do on a leash and if they are allowed off-leash. What commands do you use with them? Are there any areas on their body they don’t like to be touched and what are their favorite scratch areas.
A typical day
I love to hike so I will take the dogs to the trails, if the owners are okay with it. There is a school near my house that has a fenced in grass area and allows dogs after school hours so if your dog doesn’t want to to play with other dogs, that’s a good place to go to let them run by themselves. I will also ask the owner where their dog’s favorite spots are so they can go to their comfort place.

I’ve always had dogs and cats. My husband and I love caring for special needs pets. We currently have two dogs, one is three-legged and was abandoned so we’ve spent a lot of time gaining her trust. We’ve also had a blind, dead and epileptic dog that required strict medication schedules and unique training techniques.
