About: My childhood was surrounded by dogs. When I was 12, I had to completely take care of 4 pit bulls, a Dotson, a mixed breed medium sized dog, and 3 cats. I have watched a few friends and family's pets over the years. Before I moved here, I actually helped my cousin take care of his senior husky with low energy that needed shots for a medical condition and a 2 year old German shepherd with all the energy in the world. My foster mom also bred pugs for a living, and have had to help the momma pug give birth while my foster parents were gone. I also have a 4 year old female Black Mouth Cur named Ava, that I have had since 6 months old, and a 2 year old male pitbull terrier rescue named Bosco, that I have had for a year and counting. He is full of fear and needs a lot of patience to work through it, but after 5 months of touch and go work, he now knows what play is and has his own toys! He also is scared to eat or seems to not know what his feeding bowl is, but after different ways to show that feeding time is okay, he is slowly gaining the weight he should be at! Treats were his sweet spot for knowing it is a safe place, and my sweet Ava sped the process for getting him comfortable in his new home and now commandeers my clothing to sleep with in his bed. Due to Bosco being a rescue and has become very protective is why I can't offer in home sitting in my home but am open to dog sitting at client's homes. I am currently a new stay at home mom. I take care of my two boys and my two fur babies. I am more than ready to help others with their fur babies. Due to behavior of one of my dogs, I would not be able to comfortably care for your fur babies in my own home, but I will do the utmost care for your fur babies in your home! Give me all the rules you need followed; Outside during certain times, feeding strategies, don't sit in a certain spot or area in the home. Nothing is too much to handle! I have even taken care of dogs with potty issues and needed baths for their health care and hygiene of your home.

About: I've had animals my whole life but started professionally working with them about 5 years ago. My own animals are special needs, so I know what it's like to need someone to care for them. I love animals and hope to get to know yours! I'm available on Saturday, Sunday, Monday afternoon/evening and the evening on Friday! Other days I work full time at an animal clinic and go to school, so weekends are what I can do for you! I am very good at reading animal behavior and knowing how to get dogs and cats to trust (or at least tolerate) me. I also am familiar with a lot of different medicines and how important it is to administer them carefully, as I had a pet with chronic illnesses and work with them daily. I want to use my knowledge from working at the clinic to help you and your pets.

About: As a college student and former four-year JROTC cadet, I've developed responsibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats and have always loved caring for animals. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, and I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, or overnight companionship, I'll treat them like one of my own. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and enjoy keeping them active while making sure they're happy and secure. I know it can be stressful leaving your pet with someone new, so I'll provide regular photo updates and communicate with you throughout each visit. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your furry family member receives the best care possible. I am a part time college student prepared. My schedule varies throughout the semester, but I will ensure my bookings adhere to what works best. I will ensure the animal(s) has plenty of food, water and overall love. I enjoy playing with animals and ensuring they feel safe and have plenty of fun while together.

About: As an enjoyer of walks, outside time as well as cuddles and timely meals, I’m already on a lot of dog wavelengths. Additionally since age 9 I’ve been providing care for a parade of (enthusiastic and stubborn) dogs, cats (including a diabetic), horses, chickens, and even a (escape oriented) tortoise. I find that taking the time to get to know one another and respect each other is invaluable in maintaining good relationships with animals. I’m currently in school and have weekends open to come care for your furry friends! During the week I’m available for morning and evening care Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. I like tuning into a creature’s habits and hang out style and then communicating to them how I can show up within that space. I also enjoy setting timers for feeding and bedtime to help me and your pet stay on track.

About: Hi, I go by Ashton. I began working with dogs in a professional setting in 2011 in Anchorage Alaska. I received my Certificate to be a Professional Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College and immediately began working along side seasoned obedience, behavior modification and agility trainers. After some time I was able to begin mentoring new trainers in basic obedience, teaching them how to run puppy and adult basic obedience group classes. Though my profession career began in 2011, my passion for working with dogs truly started many years before that, here in Reno,NV, when I adopted a Chow Chow named Leo. I was just a teenager and Leo had come with several severe behavioral issues. He was both human and dog aggressive, destructive, not house broken, had sever separation anxiety, ran aware regularly and was leash reactive. Despite being uneducated in dog behavior at the time, I began to do my own research and was dedicated to teaching Leo how to feel safe, happy and confident so that he would overcome his many barriers. We walked every day and I tirelessly worked toward socializing him. When I moved to Alaska, I took Leo with me, he became my practice dog and we learned dog behavior together! In no time, he was attending puppy class with me, rolling on the floor letting puppies jump all over him. He was going on walks with other leash reactive dogs, HE was the calm presence that helped other dogs see that it was all okay. Leo learned to love people and other animals, he learn to trust and because of him and everything he overcame, my heart was set on making that difference in as many lives as I possibly could. In 2024, as a single parent, I made the difficult choice to "retire" from dog training to focus on feeding other passions and traveling with my daughter. During that time I have continued to have a lovely time with my own dogs and the dogs of close family members, but I am starting to feel the ache of wanting to help again. I have decided to offer limited services related to dog walking, drop in visits, play dates, nail trims and limited bathing/grooming. (Oh, did I mention I used to be a dog foster parent, groomer and kennel tech alongside my training?) I have outline my services in more detail below; however, feel free to reach out with any questions if you don't see what you are looking for! I look forward to hearing from you :) I am offering evening walks Monday - Friday, drop in visits and extended walks on Saturdays and Sundays. Dog Daycare is available for limited hours on Sundays and will be accepted on a case by case basis. Loose leash walking training can be provided in conjunction with walks at an additional cost. Please message for details. All dogs are required to be collared with identification for walks. I will request a microchip number if they have been chipped in the event of an emergency. For your dogs safety and mine: If your dog is an extreme puller, I may request to be allowed to use tools such as an easy walk harness and sort lead. If I do not have your dogs size, I may request you purchase one.

About: Growing up on a small farm has given me plenty of experiences with all kinds of animals, from dogs & cats to goats & chickens. My highest priority is making sure pets feel comfortable and safe. I adapt to your pets- not the other way around. I’ve been petsitting for years and I love it so much it’s now my full time job. I enjoy organizing my schedule and making sure I can give punctual care to new and returning clients. I have lots of experience with many different kinds of animals, all with their own quirks and needs. I’m hyper vigilant about making sure cats & dogs are supervised, and creating a risk free environment for everyone’s peace of mind.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong love for animals combined with the reliability I’ve built as a teacher, coach, and athletic director. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels, from playful pups to older companions who need a gentler touch. I treat every visit like I’m caring for my own pet, providing safe, attentive, and engaging care that keeps them happy, active, and loved. I work as a teacher, coach, and athletic director at a high school, which gives me a flexible schedule, especially during the summer. This allows me to provide consistent, attentive care for pets, making sure they’re fed, played with, and happy. I prefer having plans a little in advance, so weekday visits are ideal, but I’m also happy to help on weekends when needed. I prioritize creating a calm, comfortable environment where pets feel safe and at home. I enjoy visiting pets in their own residence so they can stay in their familiar space. I can take dogs for walks around the neighborhood, play with them in the front or backyard, or simply hang out and provide companionship where they feel most comfortable.

About: I have always been good at taking care of pets since I was a kid, I have a fur baby of my own her name in Punkin. I have washed family dogs before and taken dogs on walks, I do not have professional experience, but I have been around all types of animals my whole life. I am available pretty much all day everyday, I am currently unemployed and have a very flexible schedule, I will also work weekends if needed. I love good set instructions for animal care, and I am very playful and careful with all animals. I am good at teaching tricks, and knowing how to take care of an animal if they are scared.
