About: I've had animals my whole life but started professionally working with them about 5 years ago. My own animals are special needs, so I know what it's like to need someone to care for them. I love animals and hope to get to know yours! I'm available on Saturday, Sunday, Monday afternoon/evening and the evening on Friday! Other days I work full time at an animal clinic and go to school, so weekends are what I can do for you! I am very good at reading animal behavior and knowing how to get dogs and cats to trust (or at least tolerate) me. I also am familiar with a lot of different medicines and how important it is to administer them carefully, as I had a pet with chronic illnesses and work with them daily. I want to use my knowledge from working at the clinic to help you and your pets.

About: Hi, I go by Ashton. I began working with dogs in a professional setting in 2011 in Anchorage Alaska. I received my Certificate to be a Professional Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College and immediately began working along side seasoned obedience, behavior modification and agility trainers. After some time I was able to begin mentoring new trainers in basic obedience, teaching them how to run puppy and adult basic obedience group classes. Though my profession career began in 2011, my passion for working with dogs truly started many years before that, here in Reno,NV, when I adopted a Chow Chow named Leo. I was just a teenager and Leo had come with several severe behavioral issues. He was both human and dog aggressive, destructive, not house broken, had sever separation anxiety, ran aware regularly and was leash reactive. Despite being uneducated in dog behavior at the time, I began to do my own research and was dedicated to teaching Leo how to feel safe, happy and confident so that he would overcome his many barriers. We walked every day and I tirelessly worked toward socializing him. When I moved to Alaska, I took Leo with me, he became my practice dog and we learned dog behavior together! In no time, he was attending puppy class with me, rolling on the floor letting puppies jump all over him. He was going on walks with other leash reactive dogs, HE was the calm presence that helped other dogs see that it was all okay. Leo learned to love people and other animals, he learn to trust and because of him and everything he overcame, my heart was set on making that difference in as many lives as I possibly could. In 2024, as a single parent, I made the difficult choice to "retire" from dog training to focus on feeding other passions and traveling with my daughter. During that time I have continued to have a lovely time with my own dogs and the dogs of close family members, but I am starting to feel the ache of wanting to help again. I have decided to offer limited services related to dog walking, drop in visits, play dates, nail trims and limited bathing/grooming. (Oh, did I mention I used to be a dog foster parent, groomer and kennel tech alongside my training?) I have outline my services in more detail below; however, feel free to reach out with any questions if you don't see what you are looking for! I look forward to hearing from you :) I am offering evening walks Monday - Friday, drop in visits and extended walks on Saturdays and Sundays. Dog Daycare is available for limited hours on Sundays and will be accepted on a case by case basis. Loose leash walking training can be provided in conjunction with walks at an additional cost. Please message for details. All dogs are required to be collared with identification for walks. I will request a microchip number if they have been chipped in the event of an emergency. For your dogs safety and mine: If your dog is an extreme puller, I may request to be allowed to use tools such as an easy walk harness and sort lead. If I do not have your dogs size, I may request you purchase one.

About: Starting in 2017 I moved in with my best friend and as supplemental income we started dog sitting- that lasted almost 4 years! Even though I don’t live there anymore I still have all that experience just waiting to be utilized once again ! Although on a much smaller scale, since before we would have up to 13 dogs at a time. I am a mom of two. I have one cat and one dog and they are loved and treated as though they are as human as my children, of which I can guarantee your pets will receive the same love and attention. This is my full time job now, I quit being a dental lab technician recently after 10 years to spend more time at home being a mom to my kids and your pups! I have a fully fenced backyard, as well as baby gates in many sections of my home to create separate spaces should the need arise for pets to be separated. Because I am a stay at home Mom at the moment there will be times I will be out of the house; doctors appointments, school pick up or school drop off, or things like grocery shopping. Your pet should be okay to be left alone during these brief periods of time, between 1 to 4 hours depending on what I have happening. If you’re uncomfortable with your dog roaming my home or being unattended, I encourage you to bring a kennel for safety and peace of mind when me and/or my husband are not in the home for those brief periods.

About: Growing up on a small farm has given me plenty of experiences with all kinds of animals, from dogs & cats to goats & chickens. My highest priority is making sure pets feel comfortable and safe. I adapt to your pets- not the other way around. I’ve been petsitting for years and I love it so much it’s now my full time job. I enjoy organizing my schedule and making sure I can give punctual care to new and returning clients. I have lots of experience with many different kinds of animals, all with their own quirks and needs. I’m hyper vigilant about making sure cats & dogs are supervised, and creating a risk free environment for everyone’s peace of mind.

About: I've had multiple pets for the last 30 years, which has given me deep insight on animals and their varying needs. I have cared for neighbors' and friends' cats and dogs for over 20 years and have loved the relationships I've built with animals and their families over the years. I work part-time currently and have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets! I have a big car to transport larger dogs if need be. If I visit your home to care for your cats or dog, I will spend time with them and not just be on my phone. I will keep your space safe and as clean as possible. I am comfortable giving medications to pets as I have done so for many years. I will give your pets the love and attention they need.

About: Hello, I'm Mira! I own two little fur babies of my own, both bulldogs. One of the main things I understand in searching for a pet sitter is someone who genuinely cares for your babies safety and stimulation when left without their owner, so I hope to be assistance and relieve some of that anxiety you may be feeling. I specialize in in-depth hygiene care for dogs, as well as medical assistance for those who need it. One of my bulldogs, an oldie who is 6 years old, requires constant cleaning and medication such as eye drops, ear washes, and pills every morning and night. My other one, 4 years, who is a ball of energy, needs 24/7 activity to provide him with enough release and content at the end of the day. I am not unfamiliar with the intensive care they need, as well as the love they deserve, no matter their history. So I hope to be there for your babies and give them the utmost satisfaction. :) With school, I have classes with huge breaks that allow me to work and head right your way. Friday's are my best weekdays, as I am available from 12pm and on. As for my pets, one of them loves to sunbathe and lounge, considering his old nature and joint problems, while the other requires an immense amount of energy to get him through the day without being bored. With previous dogs in the past, many were just as he was, needing constant play time and outdoor time to get them rejuvenated! Luckily for them, I loved hiking and taking brisk walks, so for them, it was a perfect match.

About: I’m a professional behaviorist and trainer with hands-on experience in boarding, daycare, house sitting, walking, and working with dogs facing behavioral challenges such as fear or aggression. I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life—I’ve owned a pack of three since I was nine—so I’m very comfortable in busy, energetic households and with dogs of all temperaments. I recently moved to the area and am currently focused on building my clientele, getting to know the community, and offering support wherever it’s needed as I continue to grow my presence here. Many of my friends and clients rely on me for trustworthy care when they’re out of town, or when they need guidance and support with their dogs. I also recently launched my own training business, Simple K-9, where I offer private in-home sessions, outdoor excursions, and more. I’m currently building my client base for my training business, so while I may have private sessions or excursion days scheduled, my availability is fairly flexible and I’m happy to adjust as needed! Unfortunately, I’m unable to host client dogs in my home due to HOA restrictions. However, I have extensive experience handling dogs in a variety of environments, including outdoor settings and in the comfort of their own homes. I drive a Jeep that comfortably accommodates at least two large dogs and one small dog, and safety is always my top priority. I’m committed to ensuring your pet is cared for with attention, patience, and a focus on their well-being. I would never put a dog in a situation that could lead to fear or failure. About: I have had dogs in my life my entire life. I currently have seven of them, including five German shepherds. I also have a Idaho shag and high energy husky. I also currently have 3 middle aged cats! I’m currently a full time junior at UNR majoring in education.Im taking classes all throughout the day so I am currently available after 4:30 pm tuesday, 7:30pm wednesday, and anytime on monday, thursday, friday and weekends. I am able to crate animals if needed as well as keep a sharp eye on them during outdoor activities to ensure their health and safety.
