“Appreciate that Michael always shares an update with pictures! We have a very specific food regiment our girl must follow and he’s done really well. No setbacks in his care.”

“Khine is great! This is our first week with her and she's been really helpful with our new dog. You can tell she has experience and she knows how to take care of dogs. All of her check-ins with Luna include a summary and pictures! Highly recommend.”

“Janet checked in on our two cats three times when we went away. She was very punctual and communicative; we were very happy with the care she gave our cats. We would definitely have her look after them next time!”

“Jennifer did an excellent job with a challenging dog. Rowdy doesn't warm up to people easily. Jennifer was patient with him and was able to do the ultimate for Rowdy which is going on a walk. Jennifer without asking took out our garbage, cleaned our stove top and microwave. Very nice to come home to. Additionally she went above all when we had a delayed flight and car trouble and she provided assistance to us and was willing to sit for Rowdy until we got back home. She got our mail and watered plants. We would hire her again and recommend her for dog sitting.”

“Rebekkah was great with our dogs. They have lots of energy and love to be all up on you, she handled them respectfully. She always updated us and gave them lots of love. Will definitely use her again in the future”

“Brianna has been our trusted full time sitter of our now 11 month old pup since she was just 12 weeks old. We honestly could not be happier with the care and love she has given her. Brianna has been incredibly reliable and dependable and she goes above and beyond in every way to make sure that both our puppy and us are happy and supported. She feels more like a part of the family now in a way and she treats our puppy as if she was one of her own and we are so grateful for that and grateful for her. Brianna is hands down the best sitter in the business and we would (and do) recommend her to anyone who is in need of a trustworthy and professional pet sitter.”

“We always use Miranda when we go out of town! She is sweet, attentive, and our dogs love her. She is a phenomenal communicator and always makes sure we know our babies are safe. Thank you Miranda and we look forward to using you again soon!!”

About: Hi, I go by Ashton. I began working with dogs in a professional setting in 2011 in Anchorage Alaska. I received my Certificate to be a Professional Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College and immediately began working along side seasoned obedience, behavior modification and agility trainers. After some time I was able to begin mentoring new trainers in basic obedience, teaching them how to run puppy and adult basic obedience group classes. Though my profession career began in 2011, my passion for working with dogs truly started many years before that, here in Reno,NV, when I adopted a Chow Chow named Leo. I was just a teenager and Leo had come with several severe behavioral issues. He was both human and dog aggressive, destructive, not house broken, had sever separation anxiety, ran aware regularly and was leash reactive. Despite being uneducated in dog behavior at the time, I began to do my own research and was dedicated to teaching Leo how to feel safe, happy and confident so that he would overcome his many barriers. We walked every day and I tirelessly worked toward socializing him. When I moved to Alaska, I took Leo with me, he became my practice dog and we learned dog behavior together! In no time, he was attending puppy class with me, rolling on the floor letting puppies jump all over him. He was going on walks with other leash reactive dogs, HE was the calm presence that helped other dogs see that it was all okay. Leo learned to love people and other animals, he learn to trust and because of him and everything he overcame, my heart was set on making that difference in as many lives as I possibly could. In 2024, as a single parent, I made the difficult choice to "retire" from dog training to focus on feeding other passions and traveling with my daughter. During that time I have continued to have a lovely time with my own dogs and the dogs of close family members, but I am starting to feel the ache of wanting to help again. I have decided to offer limited services related to dog walking, drop in visits, play dates, nail trims and limited bathing/grooming. (Oh, did I mention I used to be a dog foster parent, groomer and kennel tech alongside my training?) I have outline my services in more detail below; however, feel free to reach out with any questions if you don't see what you are looking for! I look forward to hearing from you :) I am offering evening walks Monday - Friday, drop in visits and extended walks on Saturdays and Sundays. Dog Daycare is available for limited hours on Sundays and will be accepted on a case by case basis. Loose leash walking training can be provided in conjunction with walks at an additional cost. Please message for details. All dogs are required to be collared with identification for walks. I will request a microchip number if they have been chipped in the event of an emergency. For your dogs safety and mine: If your dog is an extreme puller, I may request to be allowed to use tools such as an easy walk harness and sort lead. If I do not have your dogs size, I may request you purchase one.
“I couldn't have been happier with the service provided by Alexius. She really came through for me when my neighbor canceled last minute. She was very professional and a pleasure to meet. Lula also loved her which is the most important. She is also a Vet tech so you know she's passionate about animals and knows the signs and symptoms if your pet happens to be under the weather while you're gone. Don't think twice about booking her, if she can watch your pet you'll be very pleased and so will your pet!”

Sun Valley pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ezra has been SO good with my Kiya! He goes above and beyond to make sure that she is comfortable, and is very intelligent about how to handle dogs with love and affection. He truly cares for animals and it is important to him that they are treated properly. It seems to be a passion of his to make sure that the pups are cared for in the best possible way for them. Kiya has never really been a puppy who attaches herself to men, but she is so comfortable with Ezra! He is like a puppy whisperer! I highly recommend him!!
