About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover and current cat parent who would be happy to give your pets some extra love and attention while you’re away. I grew up with dogs ranging from small to large, so I’m comfortable around dogs of different sizes and personalities. I’m happy to take a well-trained dog for a walk, stop by for meals and fresh water, provide bathroom breaks, and make sure they get some companionship and attention while you’re gone. I also have experience living with a cat and would love to care for your feline friends as well. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, and am especially happy to help with adult or senior pets who appreciate a little extra patience and a relaxed approach. My goal is simple: to make sure your pets are safe, comfortable and cared for- and to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I work full-time Monday-Friday in Carson, but let care fits nicely into my routine. If in Carson City, I can check in with pets on my lunch. Otherwise I am available for visits before or after work, evenings and weekends. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your care instructions closely and provide dependable, respectful care in their familiar environment. Because I have a cat of my own, I don’t board pets in my home but I’m happy to care for them in yours, where they can stay comfortable in their own space and routine.
About: I am a caretaker! I'm closing my 36 year home based childcare. I LOVE the big puppies. My boy was 140lbs. passed 10/2024. I can be your puppy Grandma! (All dogs are puppies at heart) I have worked from home for over 36 years and plan to keep at home! I am moving from children to dogs. Spending every Summer on my Grandparents farm was heaven, lots of work, done with so much respect for the hours and lifestyle. I moved back to Hidden Valley to care for my parents and raise my kids. They are all gone and I am looking for a new direction, while tending my garden and remodeling. I have never been without a dog (dogs). My children are all in different States so, giving and getting my dog love fix vis sitting is the direction I'm heading as opposed to owning for now! I have always loved my pets more than any couch, so, furniture will be all access. How I will care for your pet will be up to you! 1/2 Acre fully fenced, 110 tree's, small grass area, DG to dig in. 24 years here and all of my dogs (passed) loved it. I have had 36 years of open communication with child parents and I will do the same for puppy parents. We should be cohesive and symbiotic. I left dry food out for my dogs, however, your dog your rules! Hidden Valley dog park is less than a mile from my home. My Livestock Guardian dog did not like the dog park so if yours does not I am totally ok going or not going! The Virginia Range is behind me and easily accessible for short hikes.

About: Apart from my own mini aussie, Hobbs, I have cared for friends and families pets ranging from puppies to equine. My own dog is going on 13 this year meaning I am no stranger to administering medication or following special care instructions. I also have my own flock of chickens that I’ve raised from a day old. I’ve had to treat them medically numerous times making avian care well known to me. In addition, I’ve grown up around and involved in care for horses and other livestock (goats, sheep). Don’t be afraid to reach out about special requests for exotics either! I’m currently going to school at UNR but classes are over at 3pm! Late afternoons and nights work great. On weekends I can accommodate overnights. I am working a part time job, so my fluctuating schedule will be reflected in my availability. About: I have always owned a pet of some sort, from dogs and cats to turtles and snails. I’m not afraid of any animal and I will treat them with the love and the care that you would want someone to treat a child. I do believe pets need authoritative speech but they will always be taught with respect. I am dedicating the first half of my day to volunteer work in our area and the second half is to take care of your pets. When I am with your pet I will be present, playing with them if they are younger and need to exercise their body or lightly encouraging movement if they are older. Essentially, when they are in my care they will have all of their needs met. I thank you for trusting me in the confines of your home. My one and only focus will be to take care of your pets. If possible I would like to spending time with them outside as it is important for them to experience their play in the sun.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
