My available hours for drop ins and dog walking vary day-to-day due to the nature of working in food service. My general schedule is as follows, although there are exceptions to this depending on the week and events we are catering: Monday: available most of the day Tuesday, Thursday: unavailable 8am-4pm Wednesday, Friday: unavailable 12:30-6:30pm Saturday, Sunday: depends on the weekend - sometimes all day sometimes not at all, but don't hesitate to ask! :)

While on walks, I am always aware of our surroundings to watch out for cars and other animals/people. While in your home, I have no problems using a crate/kennel if that is your norm, and also follow any other instructions specific to your home. I also make sure to leave your home exactly how I found it by cleaning any dishes used, or making the bed when staying overnight.

A typical day
Just like humans, every animal is going to have different needs! For example - if your dog is old, they probably won't be up for a mile long walk, but if your dog is very young and has high energy, that would be just what they need! I'd love to work with you and your pet to find a routine that works for all of us.

Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Emily and I work in catering here in Reno! My family has had dogs and cats my entire life. Since being out on my own, I have taken care of my past roommate's dog and my own, although I don't currently have any pets in my apartment. They all deserve so much love and care and I hope to be able to help you supply that. I have been on Rover since 2017 and have experience walking dogs of all sizes, from chihuahuas and terriers to bloodhounds and malamutes; and of all ages from 2-month-olds to 16-year-olds. I also have experience administering oral medications to both cats and dogs. I am more than happy to discuss any accommodations that need to be made with the care of your fur baby! If needed to pet sit overnight in your home, please understand I would be away during scheduled work hours on both weekdays and weekends. I have an Instagram account for this business, where you can see more photos of the pets that I have watched! If you are uncomfortable with me posting your pets, I completely understand, just let me know.
