“Jennifer did an excellent job with a challenging dog. Rowdy doesn't warm up to people easily. Jennifer was patient with him and was able to do the ultimate for Rowdy which is going on a walk. Jennifer without asking took out our garbage, cleaned our stove top and microwave. Very nice to come home to. Additionally she went above all when we had a delayed flight and car trouble and she provided assistance to us and was willing to sit for Rowdy until we got back home. She got our mail and watered plants. We would hire her again and recommend her for dog sitting.”

About: I’ve worked in veterinary medicine/pet care for about 3 years. I take my role in pet care very seriously, and ensure that each pet is treated like my own. From small cats to large dogs I’m confident and happy to provide love and care to any pet. I currently have fairly open availability everyday. About: Apart from my own mini aussie, Hobbs, I have cared for friends and families pets ranging from puppies to equine. My own dog is going on 13 this year meaning I am no stranger to administering medication or following special care instructions. I also have my own flock of chickens (2 years old) that I’ve raised from a day old. I’ve had to treat them medically numerous times making avian care well known to me. In addition, I’ve grown up around and involved in care for horses and other livestock (goats, sheep). I’m currently going to school at UNR but classes are over at 3pm! Late afternoons and nights work great. The weekends I can accommodate virtually any time and overnights. I am working a part time job, so my fluctuating schedule will be reflected in my availability. While I don’t currently offer services in my own home, I have my own vehicle large enough for big puppies in case of emergency! Otherwise I will abide by any and all house rules and instructions :)

About: As an enjoyer of walks, outside time as well as cuddles and timely meals, I’m already on a lot of dog wavelengths. Additionally since age 9 I’ve been providing care for a parade of (enthusiastic and stubborn) dogs, cats (including a diabetic), horses, chickens, and even a (escape oriented) tortoise. I find that taking the time to get to know one another and respect each other is invaluable in maintaining good relationships with animals. Pet sitting is my main job, so I have lots of time to spend with your furry friends! Weekdays and Saturdays are my most available days for walks and drop ins :) I like tuning into a creature’s habits and hang out style and then communicating to them how I can show up within that space. I also enjoy setting timers for feeding and bedtime to help me and your pet stay on track.

About: Hello! My name is Sarah and my husband and I live in Reno, Nevada. We're entrepreneurs with a flexible schedule and love taking care of dogs. I had a black lab for 15 years and have watched many dogs over the years, including internationally with Trusted Housesitters, where I am background-checked and reviewed. I'm comfortable walking dogs of all sizes. We work from home and are flexible most days! Our weeks tend to vary, but we are great at communicating with the pet parent to find times that work for everyone. We have a three-story townhome next to the Wildcreek Golf Course and Melody Lane Park. We have two patios at our house for outside time, and take regular walks. Lots of space for roaming.

About: I have owned dogs all of my life and have cared for and taught them all the basic pet commands. I have also worked at a doggy daycare for multiple months and have been a pet parent favorite Canine Coach I’m currently a college student that has class Monday through Friday mostly in the morning with evening classes on Friday. I am available all weekends for home/pet sitting. I am able to do overnight stays on weekends as long as I can go to class in the morning. In my own home I have a Dalmatian where I take him out hourly with 2 walks and if my schedule permits a car ride to the dog park. I always check my dogs water bowls and feed him two times a day with proper spacing of eating and exercise to ensure no bloating or stomach issues. I have also taught him to use the correct restroom spot in the backyard

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have two of my own, so caring for dogs is a big part of my everyday life. I especially enjoy working with adult and senior dogs, as well as high-energy dogs who need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I also have experience with puppies and enjoy reinforcing basic training, boundaries, and good manners throughout the day. I love finding ways to keep dogs mentally engaged through things like lick mats, treat puzzles, sniffing games, and simple enrichment activities. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable adapting my care to each dog’s personality and energy level. I’m a full-time college student and also work part-time, but I have a flexible schedule because two of my college classes are online. I’m available for pet care around my school and work schedule, and I’m especially comfortable caring for dogs who enjoy having company and attention throughout the day. My in-person classes are Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 AM–2:30 PM, and I work Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00–8:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. I plan my bookings around these commitments so I can give each pet the time and attention they need. Safety and trust are very important to me. I always follow the pet parent’s instructions, pay attention to each dog’s individual needs, and make sure doors, gates, food, and anything potentially unsafe are properly secured. I’m especially careful with dogs who are anxious, reactive, very energetic, or still working on training. I believe pets do best when they have consistency, patience, and clear boundaries, so I try to maintain their normal routines as much as possible.
