About: Maddie, my 10-year-old Bearded Collie, and I absolutely love getting to care for pets in their own homes! Maddie has been socialized with just about every dog under the sun and is a gentle, well-mannered companion. With over 15 years of pet-sitting experience, I specialize in house sitting only, which means Maddie will need to come along—but rest assured, she’ll be fantastic company for your pup! Of course, I always ensure supervised interactions and never leave them alone together. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priority! I work Monday–Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, but I can take a lunch break during the day to stop by for potty breaks and quick check-ins! Overnight house sitting fits seamlessly into my routine, ensuring your pet gets plenty of care and companionship while you’re away. When house sitting, I prioritize keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment while maintaining their usual routines. I follow all provided care instructions, including feeding schedules, medication needs, and exercise routines. Maddie, my 10-year-old Bearded Collie, will accompany me, but I ensure all interactions are supervised, and pets are never left alone together. I create a calm, structured, and loving atmosphere, providing plenty of attention, playtime, and reassurance. Safety is my top priority—I keep a close eye on pets during walks, secure doors and gates, and always respect any household rules. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away!

I take extreme measures while walking and caring for your pets I currently work at Blue pearl animal emergency and specialty as a surgical assistant and emergency technician. About: Hi, I go by Ashton. I began working with dogs in a professional setting in 2011 in Anchorage Alaska. I received my Certificate to be a Professional Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College and immediately began working along side seasoned obedience, behavior modification and agility trainers. After some time I was able to begin mentoring new trainers in basic obedience, teaching them how to run puppy and adult basic obedience group classes. Though my profession career began in 2011, my passion for working with dogs truly started many years before that, here in Reno,NV, when I adopted a Chow Chow named Leo. I was just a teenager and Leo had come with several severe behavioral issues. He was both human and dog aggressive, destructive, not house broken, had sever separation anxiety, ran aware regularly and was leash reactive. Despite being uneducated in dog behavior at the time, I began to do my own research and was dedicated to teaching Leo how to feel safe, happy and confident so that he would overcome his many barriers. We walked every day and I tirelessly worked toward socializing him. When I moved to Alaska, I took Leo with me, he became my practice dog and we learned dog behavior together! In no time, he was attending puppy class with me, rolling on the floor letting puppies jump all over him. He was going on walks with other leash reactive dogs, HE was the calm presence that helped other dogs see that it was all okay. Leo learned to love people and other animals, he learn to trust and because of him and everything he overcame, my heart was set on making that difference in as many lives as I possibly could. In 2024, as a single parent, I made the difficult choice to "retire" from dog training to focus on feeding other passions and traveling with my daughter. During that time I have continued to have a lovely time with my own dogs and the dogs of close family members, but I am starting to feel the ache of wanting to help again. I have decided to offer limited services related to dog walking, drop in visits, play dates, nail trims and limited bathing/grooming. (Oh, did I mention I used to be a dog foster parent, groomer and kennel tech alongside my training?) I have outline my services in more detail below; however, feel free to reach out with any questions if you don't see what you are looking for! I look forward to hearing from you :) I am offering evening walks Monday - Friday, drop in visits and extended walks on Saturdays and Sundays. Dog Daycare is available for limited hours on Sundays and will be accepted on a case by case basis. Loose leash walking training can be provided in conjunction with walks at an additional cost. Please message for details. All dogs are required to be collared with identification for walks. I will request a microchip number if they have been chipped in the event of an emergency. For your dogs safety and mine: If your dog is an extreme puller, I may request to be allowed to use tools such as an easy walk harness and sort lead. If I do not have your dogs size, I may request you purchase one.

I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine, providing a low-stress environment, and keeping you updated with daily photos and check-ins. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — not just watched. Because I work from home full time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship while you’re away. Plenty of outside time and cuddle time! When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I maintain a clean, calm environment and limit the number of pets I care for at one time so each animal receives plenty of attention. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bedtime. Because I work from home full time, pets are rarely left alone and receive consistent supervision and companionship. I also provide daily photo updates and check-ins for peace of mind. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining consistency and comfort. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding routines, walks, medications if needed, and any household preferences. I’m respectful of your home and ensure your pet feels safe and relaxed while keeping you updated with photos and detailed check-ins after each visit.

About: I care for them like family! I have experience with everything from puppies who need structure and training, to senior pets who deserve extra patience, comfort, and gentle care. I pay attention to the little things that keep animals happy whether that’s extra cuddle time, slow walks for older dogs, or enrichment games for energetic pups and curious cats. I’m reliable, communicative, and always send updates because i can’t help but take a million photos I have a super flexible work schedule so conflicts should never happen! I am able to chose my schedule most of the time but i can be very efficient with communicating schedules In my home, my pet basically becomes my roommate (the kind that gets all the treats and never has to do chores). They’ll get cuddles, playtime, walks, and naps. I keep their routine on track! In your home, I’m the stand-in human your pet didn’t know they needed. I make sure their meals, walks, and playtime happen on schedule, and of course plenty of pets. I leave your place just as tidy as I found it, maybe with a few extra paw-prints of happiness. My goal is always to make sure pets feel safe, loved, and stress-free no matter where you are.

About: I grew up around dogs, a jack russell terrier, a black lab and shepherd mix, and German sheperds. I helped take care of the dogs, feeding them, taking them outside, and also playing with them. I have experience with puppies, as well as senior dogs. I have some experience with cats as well, as my mother currently owns 2 and I've fed and entertained them. I am also a UNR student studying Theatre, so during the regular school season, my schedule may vary but as long as I'm not in class or working on a production, I'm generally free and would love the chance to walk/watch your wonderful pet(s). As a theatre student at UNR, my schedule can vary, but please reach out if you have questions about a specific day and/or time! I cannot board pets in my home, but I can certainly walk your pets, and care for them in your home if you need to leave them home for long periods of time. I am a very attentive person, and I love playing with animals, so I can watch your pet(s) and make sure their needs are met, such as going outside to use the bathroom and feeding them. Your dog/cat(s) will get plenty of attention, as I will play with them and even work on simple commands with them, such as sit and lay down. If your dog/cat has a specific eating schedule or diet, just let me know and I will make sure to follow it.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals. I grew up on a ranch and have been around all kinds of animals. I would be able take care of a variety of animals for pet parents. I am retired. And would love to be able to help pet parents out when they are away or busy. I definitely know how much pet parents worry about their babies! I am able to stay with your pets while you’re away or busy. Or I can drop in on them. Whichever is required. My Basset Hounds passed away and I’m missing having a dog but not over the heartbreak quite yet.

About: I have had dogs in my life my entire life. I currently have seven of them, including five German shepherds. I also have a Idaho shag and high energy husky. I also currently have 3 middle aged cats! I’m currently a full time junior at UNR majoring in education.Im taking classes all throughout the day so I am currently available after 4:30 pm tuesday, 7:30pm wednesday, and anytime on monday, thursday, friday and weekends. I am able to crate animals if needed as well as keep a sharp eye on them during outdoor activities to ensure their health and safety.

About: I have dogsat for my neighbors growing up, have taken care of my own dogs while my parents were out of town, along with feeding, sitting, and taking my friends’ dogs out for frequent walks when needed. I've administered medication for dogs (pills for managing epilepsy) as well as shots for cats.
