“Emily was so fantastic! This was the first time we left our dog with anyone besides family, so we were a little nervous. But it was obvious from the very start how much Emily loves animals. She was so sweet with our dog, and send us multiple pictures every day we were gone. I would use her again in a heartbeat! Such a perfect first experience with Dog Vacay!”
“Viana is so sweet and she treated my girls like her own. She was so communicative with me and sent me photos the whole time! I will definitely be rebooking next time I am away! Thank you so much Viana!”

“Karly and Emily have done a phenomenal job at watching my fur baby. It was my first time leaving him and they made me feel so comfortable. They send lots of pictures and always gave me updates on him. They were great about giving him physical activity as well. When I dropped him off they were so kind and excited to meet my pup. Will definitely be taking him back to them anytime I go out of town. Best dog sitters!”

“The perfect boarding experience. Aaron and Nicole took excellent care of my Bernese Mountain Dog. Aaron and Nicole are attentive and caring. I felt at ease leaving Jelly in their care. I’ll definitely book with Aaron and Nicole again.”

“Melisa and her family are the best. She has had my Murph 3 or 4 times now and we will be back. Good communication and great daily updates. Highly recommend. Thank you Melisa for taking such good care of my fur baby.”

“Danielle was awesome with our pups! They were clearly excited and rightfully spoiled during the holidays. Felt comfortable and at ease having the dogs with her especially with the regular updates. She followed all instructions well and without issue especially for older dog. Highly recommend and will use her services again!”

“This was first time leaving my dog with Wendy and Dave and we had a great experience. They were so kind and loving with my baby while I was away. He had a great time and we would definitely use Wendy again. I highly recommend!”

“Trusted them completely with my fur babies. They had some anxiety with being without the family but Shannon and David handled it beautifully and were so gracious. Would definitely use them again!”

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and also house sat back in California. My 2 sons are so gentle with animals and loves them just as much as me. I’m currently not working, just a stay at home mom who is trying to make some extra income. My son goes to school M-F so all I have to do is pick ups & drops off other than that I am home. I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs that love other animals. I do have a cat that always keeps to herself. My animals are very easy going.
“Max had a fantastic time! Thank you Kathryn for taking such good care of him! We received lots of pictures during his stay, he got to walk and play and get cuddles.”

“I was referred to Shawna by one of my close family members. Shawna is the best caring dog sitter in Reno! My dog loved the attention and safety she gave to her. I wouldn't take my dog any where else. ”
About: What sets me apart is the level of attention and care I provide. I keep a calm, clean home and limit the number of pets I board at one time so each pet gets plenty of individual attention. I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine, providing a low-stress environment, and keeping you updated with daily photos and check-ins. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — not just watched. Because I work from home full time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship while you’re away. Plenty of outside time and cuddle time! When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I maintain a clean, calm environment and limit the number of pets I care for at one time so each animal receives plenty of attention. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bedtime. Because I work from home full time, pets are rarely left alone and receive consistent supervision and companionship. I also provide daily photo updates and check-ins for peace of mind. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining consistency and comfort. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding routines, walks, medications if needed, and any household preferences. I’m respectful of your home and ensure your pet feels safe and relaxed while keeping you updated with photos and detailed check-ins after each visit.
About: My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections. I currently work as a teacher and have extended breaks during the fall, winter, and summer. During the school year I will have availability during afternoons and evenings for some care activities, and weekends for more. During breaks, if not traveling, and I will have a lot more flexibility daily. Update 06/08: I am currently on summer break from teaching. My weekday availability has been updated with more available times/ services. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.
“Sussy opened her heart and home to my little timid Pomeranian. She kept my mind at ease with photo updates. He had a good time playing with her other small dogs and children. I was able to relax and enjoy our trip confident that he was in good hands!! Thank you ?”

“Nina was awesome! My husband and I live out of the area but were visiting Reno and our hotel had a no pet policy, so we thought we would try someone close to where we were staying. I saw Nina’s profile and the positive reviews and determined it could be a good fit after we spoke on the phone. Nina was very professional and responsive throughout the entire duration leading up to our booking, and stayed in contact throughout their stay, providing lots of updates and pictures (which we loved!). It put our minds at ease seeing how happy and relaxed our boys appeared in the pictures. I was a little worried my boys might give her a little trouble because for some reason they aren’t huge fan of men, and I knew they would be around a guy but Scott is clearly a gem because my boys were cuddling up to him and one of them was following him around their house and wanting all his attention! Blew my mind a little (in a great way!) lol. When we went to pick them up they were calm, relaxed, and happy and fell fast asleep on the car ride home with zero PTSD lol. While I’m not in Nina’s area, I will absolutely see if she is available again next time we are out there.”

“Yesenia was AWESOME! Very attentive to Buddy, giving him walks and pets. She sent me videos and pictures of Buddy having a good time. He got along great with Zeus. 10/10”

“Megan was a delight to work with. She was prompt with replies and kept me updated on how Frankie was doing through text and pictures! I wouldn't hesitate to use her again in the future!”

Whitney was wonderful! She took Pogi on walks and made sure he was comfortable in her home. He likes to sleep on the bed and curl up to a warm body at night and Whitney welcomed him to do so. We missed our return flight home and had to book anything we could to get back. Whitney was very accommodating and understanding. She didn’t add additional stress for us for picking Pogi up a little later than scheduled.

My Beagle, Cliff, stayed with Jessenia for 5 days. Considering that he's never been away from us for that long and has separation anxiety, I think he was in a suprisingly good mood when we picked him up. I also liked that he got to hang out with 3 young Golden Retrievers, which may have helped with his nerves. Jessenia's boyfriend was available to take care of Cliff any time she had to work, so he was always supervised. Overall, I'm very satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to board Cliff with them again.

We’re so grateful to have found Mariah to pet sit our cat and dog! She was super responsive and clearly cares about animals—she was attentive to our pets’ specific dietary needs and made sure to check in about anything that seemed off. She went out of her way to make our dog scrambled eggs (her favorite food) and make sure they were both comfy during their stay. She communicated well throughout the stay and we appreciated her attention to detail. She kept in touch anytime something seemed a little off or out of the ordinary, just to make sure our pets were doing well and everything was on track. We felt our pets were in caring and capable hands while we were away. Thanks again Mariah!!
