We left our two golden retrievers with them while we were away on a Christmas vacation / getaway, but I think the real vacation was the stay Emberly & Rippy had while we were away. We received so many pictures of the fun they were having. It's clear they truly loved our babies. I can't imagine a better temporary home than with Wendy & Dave. We have a couple of longer trips planned & would not consider any other boarding options. Thank you for showing our furry family so much love.”

Because I work from home full time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship while you’re away. Plenty of outside time and cuddle time! When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I maintain a clean, calm environment and limit the number of pets I care for at one time so each animal receives plenty of attention. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bedtime. Because I work from home full time, pets are rarely left alone and receive consistent supervision and companionship. I also provide daily photo updates and check-ins for peace of mind. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining consistency and comfort. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding routines, walks, medications if needed, and any household preferences. I work as a teacher, coach, and athletic director at a high school, which gives me a flexible schedule, especially during the summer. This allows me to provide consistent, attentive care for pets, making sure they’re fed, played with, and happy. I prefer having plans a little in advance, so weekday visits are ideal, but I’m also happy to help on weekends when needed. I prioritize creating a calm, comfortable environment where pets feel safe and at home. I enjoy visiting pets in their own residence so they can stay in their familiar space. I can take dogs for walks around the neighborhood, play with them in the front or backyard, or simply hang out and provide companionship where they feel most comfortable.

About: I have had dogs most of my life and enjoy taking care of them. If your dog has special needs, I will work with you to ensure they are met. I am retired so my schedule is flexible. If I decide to care for your pet. I can work around any schedule. Just let me know, My home is clean and I have a small backyard that is accessible via a dog door. I am retired so I can concentrate my time on your pet.
