“So grateful to have found Shawna on Rover. We got married in Reno but live out of town. We dropped off our pup Moose on Thursday evening, and picked him up Sunday afternoon. We got updates the whole weekend on his stay. The morning of our wedding, we got photos of him with a bow tie and it made us feel like he was truly taken care of. Shawna is an amazing pet caretaker. We had family members that stayed at a pet friendly hotel, just to be told their dogs where too loud and were about to be kicked out of their room. About: I'm quite loving around animals and I will treat them like my own. I have watched over a neighbor's dogs in my neighborhood a few times though out the years and her dogs love me. I will play with them and give them a ton of attention. I will do extra work like, if you would like for me to rake leaves or water plants, I will. I'm available for most of the week and I am flexible. I am very patient and kind and I will make sure your dog(s) have a lot of exercise and fun with me. I am willing to watch over any breed big or small, but I am a little uncomfortabe with pits. I love playing with puppies and get along with them just fine.

I've even done harder tasks such as take their temperature, listen to their heartbeats, and much more. About: I have a Norweign Elkhound. We go on walks and hikes around the park. I have experience watching small and medium dogs. I am not working right now so I can walk your dog without my dog anytime I will bring baby in a baby carrier I don’t mind going on several walks a day and giving pets love and attention. About: As an enjoyer of walks, outside time as well as cuddles and timely meals, I’m already on a lot of dog wavelengths. About: I had a dog from the ages of 2 to 15. Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to get a new one since then (I am 20 now), and I miss having a pup around! For this past trip, I (the primary owner) was out of service and needed to connect Shannon and David with my partner. They were willing to accommodate this secondary contact. They also went above and beyond in picking Willa up from her previous sitter. All of the communication leading up to the trip made me feel like Willa would be in conscientious care and that proved true. “Nina was awesome! My husband and I live out of the area but were visiting Reno and our hotel had a no pet policy, so we thought we would try someone close to where we were staying. I saw Nina’s profile and the positive reviews and determined it could be a good fit after we spoke on the phone. Nina was very professional and responsive throughout the entire duration leading up to our booking, and stayed in contact throughout their stay, providing lots of updates and pictures (which we loved!). It put our minds at ease seeing how happy and relaxed our boys appeared in the pictures. I was a little worried my boys might give her a little trouble because for some reason they aren’t huge fan of men, and I knew they would be around a guy but Scott is clearly a gem because my boys were cuddling up to him and one of them was following him around their house and wanting all his attention! Blew my mind a little (in a great way!) lol. When we went to pick them up they were calm, relaxed, and happy and fell fast asleep on the car ride home with zero PTSD lol. While I’m not in Nina’s area, I will absolutely see if she is available again next time we are out there.”
