About: I had an internship with a veterinarian clinic where I learned so much about the necessary care for pets. I've even done harder tasks such as take their temperature, listen to their heartbeats, and much more. I dog sit at home for colleagues and family whenever I can because they always come to me for help. I work from home so I'm pretty available all day to keep a pet company. I can come over to the client's house to walk the dogs, feed them, or even stay the night if need be. I am very active, playful, and love to cuddle with pets. I enjoy taking dogs on walks/runs or being a couch potato with them as we watch movies.
About: I have house sat with several dogs in the home, older, young, big and small. I have had the opportunity to sit a dog with high energy that needed a walk every day, to one that needed special medication and lots of pats. I know how hard it is to find someone reliable with a flexible schedule and knows how important your pet is to you. I’ve grown up with pets my whole life. I had Horses, cats, dogs, and a hamster at one point. Currently married with a 1 year old and a cat. I have open availability and weekends as well. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I have a fenced home. We have enough space to accommodate 1 other pet for a short period of time.
“Chelsea takes such good care of our puppy! Rue and Goose are best friends and she always comes home worn out from playing all day! Rue is so excited to stay with Chelsea for the day. Chelsea has been very flexible with our schedule and we appreciate her so much!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals from house sitting to dog walking since my teenage years, and it’s been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. Neighbors, family friends, and family have trusted me to provide exceptional care for their furry companions. My deep love for animals led me to volunteer at the UCD Vet Center during high school, where I assisted veterinarians in hands on care. Later, I dedicated time to shelters like the Davis SPCA and the Pacific Palisades SPCA in Los Angeles, working with rescue animals and learning how to nurture even the most vulnerable pets. Over the years, I’ve rescued and rehabilitated numerous animals, many of whom became cherished members of my family. It’s been an incredible journey watching them thrive, whether it’s a senior dog finding comfort or a shy kitten finally coming out of their shell. My approach is rooted in holistic care, recognizing that diet, environment, and emotional well-being are just as important as physical health. I’ve seen firsthand how natural remedies, proper nutrition, and mindful interaction can transform an animal’s quality of life. Whether your pet needs a lively walk, a playful home visit, or overnight care while you’re traveling, I’d love to be their trusted companion. I believe in tailoring care to each animal’s unique personality, whether that means helping calm anxious pups or adjusting activities for a senior dog with mobility challenges. Feel free to ask me anything—I’m happy to share references or discuss how I can best support your pet’s needs. Looking forward to meeting your four-legged family member and giving them the same love and attention I’ve given animals my whole life! I am currently really flexible with days and hours available. I am working from home right now which allows me this flexibility. Open m- f as well as weekends I have a fenced yard and one dog at home that loves and gets along with all animals and is super friendly. I have plenty of space and separate rooms in the house along with a gate I can put up if your fury love wants a little space of their own for play time!
“Samantha is great! Good communication, replies quickly, and is very friendly. My one year old dog is shy at first but Samantha worked hard to help her feel comfortable. The second time I dropped my dog off, she was so excited to go in to see Samantha. I felt comfortable knowing that my dog was well taken care of and enjoying her time at Samantha's house.”

About: I’ve been a dog lover my entire life. growing up, our family dogs weren’t just pets, they were part of the family. From early morning walks to lazy afternoons on the couch, I learned from a young age just how much love and care dogs truly deserve. One of the biggest perks of booking with us? My wife and I both work from home full time, which means your dog is never left alone. There’s always a friendly face around, whether they’re looking for a cuddle during a coffee break or a backyard play session in the afternoon. That lifelong bond with dogs is what makes us pet sitters you can trust. When your dog is in our care, they’re not just being watched they’re being enjoyed. We make it a priority to give every pup plenty of playtime, belly rubs, and one on one attention so they feel right at home even when you’re away. We know how hard it can be to leave your furry family member behind, and we take that responsibility seriously. You can expect regular updates, photos, and a happy, tired pup when you return. 🐾 Living with our own Australian Shepherd means pet care is already woven into everything we do. Your dog will enjoy a natural mix of scheduled walks and feeding times, plus plenty of spontaneous play sessions, cuddle breaks, and backyard adventures in between. With one of us always nearby, we’re able to respond to whatever your pup needs, whenever they need it! no waiting, no rushing. It’s just part of our normal day. 🐾 When it comes to your dog’s safety and comfort, we’ve got it covered. Inside, your dog will have a spacious home to relax in, and with my wife or I here almost around the clock, they’re never left alone or unsupervised. You can rest easy knowing there’s always someone attentive nearby. We’re also proud to have a pet friendly Australian Shepherd of our own, so your dog will have a built in buddy to play with! Our Aussie is well socialized and loves making new friends, making the transition to our home stress free and fun for visiting dogs. From the moment your pup arrives to the moment you’re reunited, their safety, happiness, and comfort are our top priority. 🐾
“Nikki was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Enero and Angelina! From the moment we met her, it was clear she genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. While we were away, she kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It wasn't just that she was doing her job—it was obvious from the way she interacted with them that she truly cared about their happiness, comfort, and well-being. Both dogs looked relaxed, happy, and well-loved in every update. Nikki went above and beyond to make sure they were cared for, and we could tell they enjoyed their time with her. We highly recommend Nikki to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive pet sitter. We would gladly have her watch Enero and Angelina again!”

“My dog was happy when I picked him up. He was well fed and taken care of. I can tell when my dog has a good time at a sitters home and my dog definitely had a good time. I will rebook again :)”

Krystalyn was absolutely amazing with my boys—5 stars all the way! They came back so relaxed and happy, which says everything. She was also incredible with last-minute communication and made the whole process stress-free. Both of my dogs can be challenging in their own ways, but they immediately gravitated toward her like they do with me, which gave me so much comfort. As a dog mom, they are my top priority, and I truly felt at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Since we were visiting from out of town, it meant a lot to find someone so trustworthy and caring. I would highly recommend her to anyone and will definitely be booking with her every time we’re in town!

We feel so incredibly lucky to have found Alma to care for our sweet Mabel! At just 19 weeks old, Mabel is at such an impressionable and important stage in her development, and leaving her with someone new could have been stressful but Alma made the entire experience absolutely wonderful. From the very start, she was attentive, thoughtful, and clearly experienced. She carefully followed all of our instructions, which gave us so much peace of mind. What truly set her apart were the frequent photos and detailed updates throughout the day. Seeing Mabel happy, comfortable, and engaged allowed us to completely relax knowing she was in the best hands. One of the highlights was the amazing socialization Mabel received. She had such positive interactions with Alma’s sweet senior dog, Tyben, and her daughter. It was exactly the kind of gentle, enriching environment we were hoping for. It’s clear Alma understands how important safe, positive experiences are for young puppies. We cannot recommend Alma enough. She treated Mabel like her own, and we are beyond grateful for the love and quality care she provided. We will absolutely be booking with her again!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NV ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
