About: I have five years experience in taking care of pets, I have mostly taken care of cats and dogs. I am versed in walking dogs, including non-dog friendly pets. I also have skills in taking care of animals that need special care, such as older or with health conditions that require medications. I truly enjoy being around them. Traits that are important to my success with animals are my patience, reliability, and integrity. I also have a desire to aid people, and engage with them. I am flexible and willing to learn new techniques if given the chance. I'm a student at UNR with one more semester to go and have plenty of time on the weekends and some weekdays to take care of your pet. I will follow any rules set in your home and abide by them for your pet's safety. I provide timely communication upon request, including updates and photos.

About: Apart from being a dog and pet owner for most of my life, I have cared for friends' and family's dogs, cats, birds and other small pets. Now as a mother in my 40s working part time, and with a 20+ year career in marketing & communications, I am ready to help you with your beloved pet including custom and senior care and will keep you informed along the way. I'm also not afraid to ask questions! I am Reiki Level II certified and have applied these skills with rescue dogs to help them feel more grounded and secure. I work part time and have a young daughter in third grade, so I have some flexibility during the weekdays for drop ins and walks! Building trust and maintaining a safe environment is my utmost priority. Not only will I keep clear communication along the way, but I lead with my heart in everything I do.

About: I have always grown up with pets (dogs, cats, birds, fish…even a reptile or two!) I adopted my pup, Hurley, nearly 15 years ago and it has been one of my joys to have her in my life. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages, helping you practice any training you might be working on with your pooch, dispensing medications and other care needs, as well as keeping your furry friend safe if they have any anxieties or other difficult behaviors. While I am not a trainer, I have kept up regular formal, positive reinforcement training with my dog and we’ve also taken lots of fun classes like agility and nose training—meaning I know lots of fun games to keep your pup engaged during my visit. I am a freelance consultant so my days tend to be pretty flexible. I am generally available throughout the day to care for your pooch. I am an attentive care-giver. I will follow all instructions, ensure your dog is safe in its environment—whether we are walking or playing. I have experience with dogs with medical or other special needs and will always ask about your preferences for care.

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals and have always been responsible for my own animals. I have 20+ years of experience caring for animals as well FFA experience and veterinary science classes. I work 10 hour days Wednesday-Saturday but still have time before and after work to care for animals. On my days off I am very active and go on hikes or walks almost every day. I have one cat in my home that gets along great with other animals. I am very caring and attentive to all of my animals. They will get a lot of attention and I am a very active person that likes to take long walks and hikes daily.

About: You will feel safe knowing that your pet will be happy and taken care for so you can actually pay attention to what needs to be taken care of while you are away. I have had many dogs growing up and have watched family friends’ dogs for years now. From puppies to senior dogs, I have taken care of all of them. I am starting my masters of social work online which allows me to take care of your pets and still work on school. Starting in September I start my internship which is 13 hours a week which leaves me plenty of time to give your pets the time and energy they deserve. I always make sure water bowls are full, dogs are taken outside regularly (or change out the litter box for cats when seen fit) and food is administered per owners request. I make sure I pay attention to owners wants and needs to their pets and want to make sure your pet doesn’t fall out of regular scheduling while you are gone.

About: I’ve always had dogs in my home, I have 4 right now and my dog daisy is my best friend! I have experience with puppies and older dogs and I love meeting new dogs and caring for them. I am a freshman at the University of Nevada, Reno and I don’t have a job because I want to have time to focus on school so dog sitting is perfect!
