“This review is long overdue! Gina and Erik watched our two golden retrievers while in Tahoe for a family gathering in May 2023. They treated our dogs like their own and sent us lots of updates, photos and videos of our dogs during their stay. Our dogs looked SO HAPPY and clearly LOVED Gina and Erik. During a thunderstorm, one of our dogs was scared and Gina made a rub of essentials oils to help calm him, and Erik gave him hugs on the couch. “Danika was an absolute life-saver when our cat ended up going to the emergency vet just a few days before my family and I were going on vacation for a whole week after. As he recovered from his vet visit, he required constant care which involved multiple check-ins a day, monitoring how often he drank water, ate his food, and used the litter box. He also needed to be given 3 different medications on different time schedules, 2 of which required being administered with a syringe in his mouth. Danika was able to do all of this and even texted us updates after each visit to let us know how things were going. About: I have taken care of dogs, pretty much my whole life, and have experience with all sorts of dogs. From golden retrievers to dobermans, pit bulls, chihuahuas, and German shepherds, I have experience with all kinds of temperaments and dogs and am able to handle and care for all of them in the ways they need. I volunteer at the Nevada Humane Society and have completed a Fear Free Certification. I have trained all of the dogs I have taken care of and am very dedicated to making sure that they are well taken care of. When they are your best friend, they deserve the best. I will make sure that your dog gets plenty of love and care, and will be played with, and walked around to give them the socialization and exercise they need and want. I currently work full time, but have weekends off, and can sometimes do evenings, and love to spend my free time with pets. I fit pet care into my weekly routine by caring for a german shepherd weekly. I provide care for the pets by taking them on walks, and following any other normal care that the pet would typically require. I have 2 five year old german shepherds, as well as a 13 year old cat, so I am well equipped in dealing with multiple pets as well.
