I've taken care of all kinds of animals as long as I can remember. I've always adored animals and often volunteer at shelters or vet offices in my free-time. I've learned how to administer medication in various ways as well as how to treat minor injuries (such as a torn nail or sprained paw). Trimming claws and nails, cleaning ears, cleaning up enclosures, managing dietary needs, were all things that I've done in my work at animal shelters. No job too gross or menial!! I have experience training service dogs. Specifically service dogs for Veterans with PTSD. The dogs would live with me for the duration and undergo constant training both in the house and in public spaces. This involved clicker training and lots of positive reinforcement. Once they passed their training, they would go on to live with a Veteran, and be their constant companion, someone to watch their back and help them manage their PTSD.

I'm very attentive to any animal in my care. I understand that each animal is unique and different in their own way. Does your dog only eat if someone is sitting with him? Well, mine does too! Does your cat need to be held and carried around before going to sleep? No problem! Regardless of what service you've booked, I will always ask for what preferences you and your pets have and how I can better care for them in your absence, or alleviate any anxiety or concerns you may have. I can provide constant updates and pictures at your request. I will treat your pets as if they were my own.

Kendra is a great pet sitter. She was on time for every visit. She took very good care of our pets! She was attentive to our high maintenance kitty and high maintenance guinea pigs. We really enjoyed seeing pictures of our pets every day. Kendra is also a great communicator. Will definitely book again. So happy we found someone we can trust.
Kendra is an excellent dog walker. She provided my dog, Johnny Walker, with great exercise, lots of love and care!!!
Kendra is an expert on Cat care; she truly cares about them. She has considerable experience as a cat parent for many years and that helped us gain confidence in her. She did a great job making sure our senior kitties were well fed and taken care of while we were on vacation. We didn’t have to worry while away; that was a relief!

Schedule
I am currently unemployed. I have a senior cat and a dog recovering from a leg injury that requires a bit more attention. I'm looking to make Rover into a more full-time job, so my schedule is currently wide open.
