I am currently unemployed. I have a senior cat and a dog recovering from a leg injury that requires a bit more attention. I'm looking to make Rover into a more full-time job, so my schedule is currently wide open.

I'm very attentive to any animal in my care. I understand that each animal is unique and different in their own way. Does your dog only eat if someone is sitting with him? Well, mine does too! Does your cat need to be held and carried around before going to sleep? No problem! Regardless of what service you've booked, I will always ask for what preferences you and your pets have and how I can better care for them in your absence, or alleviate any anxiety or concerns you may have. I can provide constant updates and pictures at your request. I will treat your pets as if they were my own.

I love to balance physical activities with mental activities. This could be something as simple as a snuffle mat with their kibble, or more complex puzzle games. Turning training into fun is a great way to help solidify commands and behaviors. But, it really comes down to what your pet most enjoys.

I've taken care of all kinds of animals as long as I can remember. I've always adored animals and often volunteer at shelters or vet offices in my free-time. I've learned how to administer medication in various ways as well as how to treat minor injuries (such as a torn nail or sprained paw). Trimming claws and nails, cleaning ears, cleaning up enclosures, managing dietary needs, were all things that I've done in my work at animal shelters. No job too gross or menial!! I have experience training service dogs. Specifically service dogs for Veterans with PTSD. The dogs would live with me for the duration and undergo constant training both in the house and in public spaces. This involved clicker training and lots of positive reinforcement. Once they passed their training, they would go on to live with a Veteran, and be their constant companion, someone to watch their back and help them manage their PTSD.

Kendra was great! My cat loved her and she went above and beyond, thinking ahead about my cats comfort and making sure she wasn’t lonely!
Perfect care every time. Reliable, thoughtful, and true gentle care for my pet! She plays with him and brushes him on top of managing all the rest of his care. There is never any anxiety or worries when leaving him in her care.
Kendra was awesome. She had to deal with some issues that were un anticipated and took care of it. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Kendra was amazing! She arrived on time every day to serve up Shark’s automatic feeder. She played and brushed her and kept everything clean and tidy. I would highly recommend and would definitely use again when needed. Shark was well cared for and was happy when we came home.
