About: I have always grown up with pets (dogs, cats, birds, fish…even a reptile or two!) I adopted my pup, Hurley, nearly 15 years ago and it has been one of my joys to have her in my life. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages, helping you practice any training you might be working on with your pooch, dispensing medications and other care needs, as well as keeping your furry friend safe if they have any anxieties or other difficult behaviors. While I am not a trainer, I have kept up regular formal, positive reinforcement training with my dog and we’ve also taken lots of fun classes like agility and nose training—meaning I know lots of fun games to keep your pup engaged during my visit. I also have experience caring for ducks and chickens, small reptiles and birds. I am a freelance consultant so my days tend to be pretty flexible. I am generally available throughout the day to care for your pooch. I am an attentive care-giver. I will follow all instructions, ensure your dog is safe in its environment—whether we are walking or playing. I have experience with dogs with medical or other special needs and will always ask about your preferences for care.

How I Care for Pets in Your Home I stop by and check in on your dog while you’re away for the day or weekend, so they can stay comfortable in their own home. I like to take a little extra time with each dog—whether that’s a bit of play, a short walk, or just sitting with them so they feel relaxed and not alone. I keep my service area within about a 10-minute drive so I can be dependable and on time for every visit. As I get more established, I may also offer overnight stays for small dogs down the road. I treat every dog like they’re my own, because I know how much they mean to you.

About: I’ve been a dog owner all my life. My mud room and side yard is used solely for the care and comfort of my dogs. Including dog bath, doggy door, beds, etc. We also have over an acre of property that is available for supervised play time. I consider myself a dog person and generally keep the dogs as my constant daytime companions. My dogs love to lay in their fluffy beds by the pellet stove and be with us when we are home. It would be my pleasure to include your dog in our family and dog centered daily activities. I am happy to work on basic training with your dog. Sit, stay, lay down, fetch, home manners, etc. I do not believe in any kind of “spanking” or hitting of any animals. Consistency and positive reinforcement is my philosophy. I work mostly on the weekends. I am most available to spend the most time with your pet during the week. I have school but no more than 2 hours a day. About: Animals bring me peace and joy and I just can't help but want to be around them to support them. I have raised dogs and other animals throughout my life. I have had cats, fish, hamsters, and even hermit crabs. Animals are always full of life and hope. I have two dogs now. A mother and daughter. It really shows me how deep animals can feel. I love them. Pet sitting is my priority. I spend 24/7 at home unless I am at the park or running errands. I can devote ample time to pet care. I have a fenced yard and two small dogs. They go for walks, trips to the park, as well as off road fun. Like hiking, kayaking, and trail walks.

In addition to dogs, I have experience handling and caring for cats and small animals, including rodents. Pet care is an important and fulfilling part of my weekly routine. I work a job, so I’m fully available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. If there is a change, I will notify you. On the other days, I can provide care between the hours of 7- 10 PM. I make sure to plan my schedule carefully, so both of our schedules align and so I can give pets the time, attention, and consistency they need. When caring for pets in their own home, I make it a priority to keep them comfortable by following their usual routine... feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and more. I give them as much love and affection as I would my own, always aiming to keep their tails wagging, etc. I treat every home with respect and make sure it stays secure and clean. I also send regular updates and photos to the owners so they can feel at ease, knowing their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I've been around pets my whole life. I currently have two senior dogs that I have raised since they were puppies and am familiar with administering animal medication as one of my dogs is diabetic. I have always had cats as well and am familiar with their needs and when to give them space. I am a full-time student, so traditional jobs are difficult, but I have plenty of time during the day for pet care. During the summer I am very available from mornings to afternoons to nights. I don't vacation often or have many obligations outside of school which allows me plenty of time for pets. I am willing to look after any age, any size and any temperament. I am willing to go to a client's home or take pets for walks or for a ride in the car if they enjoy. I don't have much experience in training, though I am learning, but I am patient and forgiving and will play fetch all day or be a cuddle buddy for the more sedentary pets too.
