About: Animals bring me peace and joy and I just can't help but want to be around them to support them. I have raised dogs and other animals throughout my life. I have had cats, fish, hamsters, and even hermit crabs. Animals are always full of life and hope. I have two dogs now. A mother and daughter. It really shows me how deep animals can feel. I love them. Pet sitting is my priority. I spend 24/7 at home unless I am at the park or running errands. I can devote ample time to pet care. I have a fenced yard and two small dogs. They go for walks, trips to the park, as well as off road fun. Like hiking, kayaking, and trail walks.

About: Hi, I’m Aly. I am a Reno local and graduated with a degree in Wildlife Ecology from UNR in 2020, so my passion is animals. I have been pet sitting on the side for about 5 years and have experience with small dogs, big dogs, bunnies, fish, and horses. I am able to provide any oral medication needed, feeding, walks, playtime, and whatever else your pet requires to be comfortable. No job is too big or too small! About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities for as long as I can remember. I truly love all breeds and have never been one to shy away from a dog because of their size or breed and in fact, I have an especially soft spot for pit bulls and Rottweilers! 🤍 Over the years, I’ve also gained hands-on experience volunteering with the Humane Society and veterinary clinics, where I helped with walking, bathing, grooming, playtime, and general animal care. I’ve had dogs, cats, and even a pet pig of my own, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I currently work full-time for Washoe County, but in my free time I love being able to care for other people’s pets. About: Before requesting to book anything with me, please be aware that I’m a stay at home mom, so my son does accompany me on walks and is present in my home for boarding. Because of this, pets in my care do need to be comfortable around young children. Your pet’s safety and comfort is very important to me and I want to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone involved. I will never force an interaction between your pet and my child, and I carefully manage their environment to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable during visits. I have over a decade of hands on animal care experience, including working in veterinary hospitals, an emergency animal hospital, animal shelters, and even a wildlife sanctuary specializing in wolves and other wild canines. I’m extremely comfortable handling dogs and cats of all personalities. About: Ive grown up with pets. I've taken care of dogs, cats, turtles, guinea pigs, etc. Ive cared for my pets and ive taken care of my friends', family's, and even co-worker's pets. I enjoy doing it and love to make the owners feel comfortable leaving them with someone they trust. As a dog owner currently, I feel better when I entrust my dog (my son) to someone they can feel happy with rather than being alone all day long. I have afternoons off as well as the full weekends. I'm available weekends for boarding. I am free for afternoon walks and playtime. Early morning food? I can do that. Does your pup need a ride anywhere, i can do that as well. I am very respectful of other's homes and feel that it is good to clean up toys after pups playtime and ensure the area of eating is kept clean. Being very attentive of dogs expressions and signals to go outside to ensure no accidents happen. If they are puppies, being on schedule or helping start a schedule to get them potty trained. Any rough play from larger dogs are best to be done outside to avoid accidents. This way the doggy is safe but also can freely have fun. I have experience with small and large dogs.

About: I own a car and clean record with driver's license so I can transport dogs to and from parks, or wherever the job takes me. My communication skills are seasoned with both humans and dogs. I do not shy away from reaching out to owners if there is an issue. I believe every dog deserves a pleasant time while their owners are away. This is my commitment to you. I can generally keep your pet until later into the evening and overnight. Before our first sit, we can do an introduction to establish your pet's comfort zone. Are they high energy? That's good! I like showing pets affection, especially if they're anxious. They can often really use a run, walk, or visit to the dog park, and getting outside is something I enjoy doing with dogs. As a sitter, I see and interpret subtle body language cues that mean "I need space" vs. "I want a quick head scratch". A typical day under my care is predictable, peaceful, and entirely low stress: Feeding, water refreshes, and calm, low-energy relief walks. I speak in a soft voice. I cohabitate quietly. If your pet chooses to sleep under my desk or across the room, I let them be. If they approach for attention, I offer gentle, calm affection. I send one or two brief text updates a day to confirm all is well. While I practice a "light touch" approach, I am highly vigilant. I will reach out if they stop drinking water or eating when they should be, taking issues like this very seriously. Signs of physical distress (pacing, heavy panting, whining, or lethargy). Changes in bathroom habits. Your pet's health is my number one priority. My place will be ready for your loved one: I pet-proof my home room-by-room, anticipating jumping, digging, scratching, chewing, or trash-rummaging, while inspecting my space from a pet's eye level. I maintain eyes on, supervise all toy playtime to prevent swallowing broken pieces. I use a gate to block access to stairs, allowing them to come upstairs when I am going upstairs.
