Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m self-employed as a web designer, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to plan my work around pet visits, walks, and overnights. That means I can be consistent with timing, responsive to changes, and fully present when I’m caring for your pets — not rushing in between other commitments. I enjoy being outside and active, so walks and check-ins are something I genuinely look forward to each day.

I keep litter boxes, food areas, and living spaces tidy, and I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes for safety. I also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are comfortable and well cared for.

Hi! I’m Georgette — a lifelong animal lover and Tahoe resident since 2008 with over 6 years of regular pet-sitting experience. I’m calm, patient, and active, and I love spending time outside keeping pets happy, exercised, and engaged. I work well with high-energy breeds, large dogs, and multi-pet households. I care for dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies and seniors, and I’m comfortable giving both oral and injectable medications. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight stays in your home (no boarding). Visits and walks are typically 30 minutes, and I am available throughout the South Lake Tahoe/Stateline area. As a self-employed web designer, I’m reliable, communicative, and flexible with scheduling. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. You’ll always get updates and photos so you can feel confident your pets are in good hands.

Our dogs immediately felt comfortable, which allowed us to have peace of mind while we were away. Georgette and I used to work together, and it was then that she started to care for my golden retriever and chocolate lab. They would go to her house and have amazing adventures with her own dog, Jersey. So, obviously, she is a dog person. I now have two English cream retrievers, one is 4 and the other 10 months, so obviously, she is pretty adept at the two-dog dance as well as puppy shenanigans. My older dog developed seizures and she has had to follow complicated medical and dietary instructions as well as live through his episodes, so obviously, she is thorough, careful and tough as nails. When Georgette stays at my house, I can't tell that she's been there, so obviously, she's respectful of others' space. She has taken my pups to baseball games, breweries and pup play dates, so obviously, she makes sure her fur friends are entertained and exercised. I almost hate to write a glowing review for Georgette, because once you know her and have had her love your dog, you won't want anyone else and I will have a harder time booking her! :-) But the truth is she is a wonderful person and an even more wonderful pup person and I know I need to share. Oh, and I forgot to mention that she sends fun photos all the time, so you know that all is well. When you leave your pets with Georgette you leave worry behind.
Georgette is the first person that I call anytime my husband and I will be out of town and need someone to watch our two puppies. Our puppies love her…..which I can tell because they get so excited to see her. Georgette absolutely takes care of them, gives them love, takes them on walks and adventures….and is genuine in everything that she does. She also takes care of our house, which is very nice for us as well. I have no doubt that if any type of emergency came up, Georgette would get them the help that they needed. We have a ‘puppy/home’ welcome package - and Georgette read the whole thing before her first ‘sit’ at our house. I do not worry about our puppies when they are with her. I only wish that I could be there having as much fun as they are! Thank you, Georgette!
