Hey all! You might know me personally, and if not, I’m so glad my profile caught your eye. I’ve been providing trusted pet and house sitting care in the Lake Tahoe area for many years now, through personal referrals, the veterinary office in tahoe vista, and I’m now expanding my availability here on Rover. I’m well known locally and provide regular care for pets in private homes and condos throughout Tahoe. More commonly I supply my house for your baby’s to board. I don’t except other animals if I’m watching your friend, it’s just myself and your dog/dogs or kitty. I don’t except multiple animals, unless they are all from the same family or friend group. I understand how big a deal it is to leave your pet, your best friend behind, and my goal is always for you to feel completely comfortable and confident while you’re away. I am always free for a face time phone call (anytime, day or night) and I send you pictures throughout the day! We usually do a morning, afternoon and night time shoot lol. The dogs love it, the cats I just have to be hopeful they show up for lol. I love animals so much. To me, pets are family. Your friend will enjoy hanging out with me at possibly your house, Tahoe rental or at my place in zephyr cove, and if preferred I can go to my fully fenced in yard in tahoe city (I do own a home in tahoe city, and can easily work from there) both homes have a lot of access to trails in the back and the lake across the street. I will always have your pet on a leash, unless you want to talk to me and want to allow your pet to swim. If your friend does stay with me they can enjoy the sunshine and if not yet potty trained I’m great with puppy’s, and we have forgiving floors! I have a very pet friendly condo and they can hang out on the couch or bed with me. If you’re ok with it, I’d love to get us outside to enjoy the beach or an easy going walk (depending on owner preferences). I understand the necessity of leashes and prefer to keep my new friends on a leash at all times during our first few visits as we get to know each other. After a while and only if you prefer, we can start the process of letting them get some off leash time while at the beach or on walk. I will adhere to any dietary and allergic needs you may request. I have volunteered many years at the humane society and have been trained by the best at the Truckee location. I enjoy sending you pictures and videos of your pet and our time together and I am always available for a phone call or text chat while you are away. If your friend needs to lodge with us then we have plenty of options. Whether he or she enjoys sleeping on my bed with me or in a pet bed/kennel that you provide. I do love sleeping with the dogs and cats, so I’m fine there. However If your pet needs to be in the kennel then I will promote whatever we are trying to learn together. If your pet has a specific time they like to go potty I will wake up with them, and repeat their normal schedule.
